Does it hurt phone to listen to Pandora all day?
I have had it playing Pandora for long periods of time when it will then stop and go to the black apple logo, and it just stays there. I can shut it down eventually, but when I restart, it comes back with just the logo. on the fourth try it eventually came back to life. This has happened twice now. Is it from having it on playing music all day plugged into the charger? It's less than a year old.

Not at all. But lithium batteries like to be exercised, so it would not be a bad idea to let it run from the battery now and again (but you needn't get anal about it).

Phone has been Enabling Bluetooth all day.
I just got a handsfree ear piece, and I set it up the other day. Worked great for one day. The next day, couldn't get a bluetooth connection. My phone just kept going to a white screen that said "Bluetooth Disabled". Today, I try to enable the bluetooth and it just has the grey box in the middle of a white screen that says a"enabling bluetooth" but its been enabling bluetooth for three hours now. I can't change the screen or stop the "enabling". I've tried turning off the phone and turning it back on and its still says "enabling bluetooth..." when I click on the bluetooth icon.

When I establish a multi-day event on iCloud but do not check the "all-day" box it shows up just fine in iCal as an event that exists on each day along side the other events that occupy those dates. However, when I check the "all-day" box when editing the event (in either calendar) the event completely disappears from the iCal calendar (it shows up across the top of the iCloud calendar in the "all-day eventt" line. On my iPhone, there is no change in appearance (the event shows up on each day).
Anybody have a clue what causes this? Maybe just a "feature" of iCal beta?This is exactly what's happening to me. I've been able to recreate this on a Touch also with OS4. It's not occuring on OS3. I've only been able to recreate the problem on July 30th and August 1st calendar dates for some reason. It may be happening on other dates also but I havn't been able to find any.
To recreate the problem go into day view on the calendar. Go to August 1st and create a calendar entry. Then touch the left arrow to go back a day then touch the right arrow to return to august 1st and your entry is invisible. It's still there because if you go forward a day then go back a day it shows.
I've been using list view only now to avoid missing these invisible entries. -

My wife has the same problem. I believe I found the solution. Activate "do not disturb" in settings - do not disturb - manual. Make sure to also go to allow calls from and set it to no one. A moon will appear in the status bar. You will see notifications of missed calls but it does not interrupt Pandora. Let me know if this works for you.

This is a heavily debated issue, not only with iPhone batteries, but also with batteries for almost any other electronic device. Some think it is paramount to wait until it is almost drained (10%>) before charging it, while others don't think it hurts it at all to charge it whenever you like. The only thing I would recommend you don't do too much is let it drain to 0% and let it sit in that state for too long. You may also want to be more careful with when you charge it the first few times you do (this is known as conditioning the battery).

i was listening to pandora radio on my ipod touch and it jus turned off and went the screen went to the picture with cd of itunes sayig it needed to be connected and i plugged it in to restore it but it wont let me it says error and that its in recovery mode...?
Try kicking it out of recovery mode with RecBoot. If that does not work, restore it.

What is the best way to connect my first generation iPhone to my stereo receiver so that I can listen to Pandora through the stereo?
I am hoping someone will answer this question you have asked. I just purchased the iSimple Gateway system and even though it says on the box that it works with the iphone3G when I plug it in to the 30pin connector it says that it does not support. It does work when I plug an iPhone4G . I have to use the headphone jack only with my 3G to listen to Pandora untill I figure out the problem .

Yes, listening to Pandora through headphones is no different than listing to any other music/audio through headphones. When you plug them in your speaker should automatically turn off. Perhaps there is something wrong with your headphone sensor; try blowing on the opening to see if there is dust/debris getting in the way of its operation. Sometimes plugging and unplugging your headphone jack multiple times will clear it as well. If the problem persists take your phone to the Apple store and have them take a look at it. It should still be under warranty.

I lost everything cause I wanted to update my phone
here is what happened with me exactly :-
I plugged in my phone into the charger & connected my phone to a wireless connection to start the operation of updating it, I immediately noticed that I dont have the required space to proceed the download so i had to delete data manually, & meanwhile i was doing so my phone became slow and it got stuck then it went off after that it came on again but it was on the recovery mode ??

My mom updated her iPhone to iOS7, and now she has my contacts. Does this mean that she has access to all of my photos as well? How can she 'unlink' our phones? Or, is there anyway that I can get my stuff to disappear from her phone? We share iTunes account so I think we are both on the same iCloud.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
If you are using the same ID as a primary iCloud login, then yes she can see your photos in photostream if you have it enabled.
You can use the same ID for iTunes so you can share all your purchases, but you need different ID's for iCloud.
Unfortunately, the mess caused by sharing the ID, will need to be sorted manually, once you both have your own ID's. -
how can someone use a stolen iphone? does erasing the phone (which I feel like I should do) make it easier for the thief to use the iphone? If I don't erase it, it doesn't seem like anyone should be able to use the phone because of my password. Also, is it possible to retrieve anything that has been sent to the phone (i.e. text messages) since it was stolen through icloud? The "find my iphone" app says the device is offline but it rings when I call my number -- any idea how that would be the case? Thanks!!
You have a password, so good move on your part. Whether you erase it or the thief does, they still get to use the iPhone as theirs. Which is more important (pick one), protecting your data or punishing the thief?
Ringing occurs at the carrier. Chances are you're going to voicemail after only two or three rings. If you have an iCloud backup also a good move. Re-read my question in the first paragraph. -
windows vista not recognizing my iphone4s when i open itunes, keep getting trust / dont trust message on phone and always press trust. Not sure why it's started doing it. Can not synch iphone at all or add new music....as itunes does not pick up the phone I have connected anymore. My ipod synchs fine still and thats over 6 years old!

I downloaded latest software on iphone 4 and installed new software on my imac (snow leopard 8.6)and now phone not synching with new itunes. Itunes does recognize the phone but the itunes is totally different now. It doesn't look anything like the previous vesions. I can't even find a tab for synching. very strange. any help is appriciated.

I recently got my iPhone 5 unlocked and the other day I updated my phone to ios 7. After doing so my phone shut off and turned on and it said I had no service. I guess it completely wiped out my unlock. I was wondering if anyone knows what I can do to fix it!!
How, EXACTLY, did you get it "unlocked"? ONLY the carrier it's locked to can authorize unlocking it. Anything else is a hack.

my iphone 4s was linked to itunes on my home laptop for backups and syncing. at work yesterday i updated itunes to 11 and later on i plugged in my phone to listen to music and my phone registered to work computer and when i plugged into my home laptop it will not reconise it for backups etc, how do i get my phone to register back to my laptop.
