Does iWeb '08 have new/more templaes?
Does iWeb '08 have different/more TEMPLATES than what exists BEFORE iWeb '08?
Or is it new mainly in the widgets?

I have seen that page before; in fact I have read all of the pages on iLife '08 several times because of high interest. I've even read outside reviews of iLife '08. What I wanted was to SEE those new templates if they in fact had new templates. See to "inspect" rather than see random photos to accompany the sentence, "There are new templates, too."

Made a site in iWeb 08, have new computer and iWeb 09, How do it get it to
So I made my site in iWeb 08 last year and published it to my .mac account. I got a new computer this year at school, I am a teacher, and now don't know how to get my web site into the iWeb09 app. I have the folder that I saved/published to from the old computer. I need to go in and make changes but can't get there from here.

Does IWeb open a new window when clikcked on a hyperlink?

When I open iWeb it does not "Highlight" the New site or new page options. It has had this issue for over a year! I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it. What do I do? It opens the tutorial video, then when you close it, nothing else is clickable.
Open iPhoto, select a couple of photos and use the Share ➙ iWeb ➙ Photo page menu option. That has jump started iWeb for others. I could take a couple of tries.
If that doesn't work try the following:
1 - delete the iWeb preference file, com.apple.iiWeb.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iWeb's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iWeb folder.

A family of 5, have new iphone 4 s phones.
Because we shared the itunes account previously, on installation of the new devices, the computer does not recognise individual itunes accounts.
So all 5 devices are sharing the same itunes account!!!
How do we set up new accounts on each individual phone?The iTunes stores in different countries are entirely separate. You can only use an iTunes store credit in the country in with it was created and purchased content cannot be shared across countries. Family sharing groups must be country-specific, using iTunes store credits for purchases only within that country, and sharing purchases that were made in that country. I am running an Apple imac G-5 with OS 10.5.8. Processor: 2 GHz. Memory: 2 GB DDR SDRAM. I am getting the message that my version of Safari is no longer working. I downloaded a newer version of Safari and I got the message that it would not work with my OS 10.5.8. Does any one have a suggest

My IPad 2, IPhone 3GS ans iPod no longer work with apple TV, I have 2 apple TV in my house and for he last 3 weeks the iPod was the only one we could use for appleTV now none of them works, the apple TV icon does not show up any more. Re-started everything.

RESPONSES:
1) When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2) I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3) So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. I have recently had to fire my web designer who was using iWeb. Now I'm trying to figure out how to get the site to open in iWeb on my new MacBook Pro. Is there a way?
Firstly iWeb CAN'T IMPORT any kind of published html code as it has no import facility. You can however add html code, javascript and css by selecting the html snippet and placing it on your page the entering the code in here and clicking on Apply. You DO NOT create a shape as you say - you use the html snippet and place your code in there.
There are not really a lot of ways in which you can write code - if you want to enter small amounts of code, then you would use an ordinary text editor to do this such as Text Edit on a Mac or Text Wrangler. If you want to add code to iWeb like this, then you would either use the html snippet method in iWeb itself or you would have to publish the site to a local folder from iWeb and open the relevant html page with a text editor and add the additional code in this way and then publish. However, if he decided to add the code with a text editor, then you would have to upload the pages directly to the server using an ftp client - if you try to upload the site directly from iWeb, all the extra code will be overwritten.
As for checking whether the site was created using iWeb, all you need do is view the site in Safari and then click on View and then select View Source Code and it will tell you.
Even thoough extra code was added to the site and he might well have done this by publishing to a local folder and adding the code with a text editor, he should still have the domain file for the site too.
Ask again. I'm sure that for adding quick code, most would not want to use programmes such as Dreamweaver, but a simple text editor will suffice. As OT already said, if he claims that he does not have the domain.sites file, then try Flux 4 which is a web design programme and has full import facilities. At least this way, if he just gives you the published version of the site, you have some way of opening it.
You can download a free trial of Flux 4 and you can also purchase the full version from the Mac App Store if you decide you like it. -
FTPS: Does PIISUSER should have more roles?

We are using FTPS to connect external IP from De Militerized Zone.
We were using De-centralized adaper engine in De Militerized Zone. we are testing the FTPS with plain File to File.
Are we supposed to use any other "xi adapter" or proxy to in the interface to connumicate external IP?
We are getting this error:
MP: Exception caught with cause com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Error when getting an FTP connection from connection pool: com.sap.aii.af.service.util.concurrent.ResourcePoolException: Unable to create new pooled resource: ConnectException: Connection refused
I know It doesn't make any sence, eventhough I'm asking you... Does PIISUSER should have more authorizations to send FTP out???
Thanks for Ur time.,In general the ftp errors that you are seeing are passed through the OS. PIISUSER doesn't even play into it, this is happening at the OS level PIISUSER is just an internal SAP userid.
1) check that you can execute the ftps call from the OS with the same userid and password
2) check that you are closing your connection when you are done with it in your directory config

Be advices that the newest iMac's are basically SEALED Units and taking it apart in any way, other than removing the Memory slot cover to add more RAM (That is on the 27" model. The 21.5" is completely sealed), will void the warranty on it.
Not only that but the screen is Glued to the aluminum casing and if you do pry it off with damaging it you'll need new adhesive strips to remount it.
Not worth the efford or the cost when you can buy mat any other brand computer for less money and do all the upgrading you would ever want without ever voiding the warranty or breaking something in the process. -
My new IPad mini has poor wifi reception. It goes in and out. My IPod, Iphone4, Ipad1 and Ipad2 work fine. What can I do? Does anyone else have this problem?
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). Does anyone else have problems with the new macbook pro trackpad?
I exchanged my new macbook pro last week because there was a major trackpad lag. Every time I put it to sleep and woke it up, the trackpad would delay 5 or more seconds. I took it in to the Apple store and they said it could be a software issue and I exchanged it. However, I just opened up this one up from the package today, and there's still a lag. Does anyone else have problems with that? I don't want to exchange it again, so is there something I can do?
Also, is it mandatory to run software updates when you first turn on your computer?

I upgraded from Iphone 3g to iphone 4. I had to update my macbook pro to Lepard just to sync. the **** thing with the new iphone 4. I bought and updated to lepard. Now when I try to sync itunes does not recognize my new iphone 4 as mine and wants to erase everything I have bought using the phone before it will sync! It says everything on the phone now will be cleared in order to sync it with my existing info on the computer from my previous iphone. How can I just get everything from my current iphone 4 into itunes, basically add it to the info from my previous iphone 3g that is currently in my itunes? I dont want to lose what I have on my phone currently....I paid money for half the apps for crying out loud.
I was so frustrated by this when I first bought the phone that I just pushed it out of my mind and NEVER synced it. Please help...Nope - you cannot restore a backup from a newer iOS version on to a device running an older iOS version. The reverse works, but in your case to use your backup, you must update to iOS 7.0.3 - no other option if you want to use that backup.

When you open the project, it should ask you where the first file is located. After you tell it where it is, it should be able to find the rest of them if they are located near the first one. Then save the file. If you move the files again, you will have to relink them again.
