MaxDB/liveCache is SAP's database technology product.
LiveCache is an additional object oriented technology based on and integrated into MaxDB. It is a hybrid system that can act either as a standard DBMS or as a memory-based application server extension. A logical further development, therefore, is the liveCache OneDB Server, which is just one database fulfilling both tasks.
It runs on all important SAP applications and is bundled with SAP NetWeaver which means one-stop shopping for SAP customers .

List Does not Exist (only on mac)

So I've tried trouble shooting this through any permissions and I've narrowed it down to one thing. Mac... I've tested (internally) creating events and creating tasks and what not on a PC and it works fine for the user. I have then tested the same user
on multiple macs and have not been able to create tasks and calendars I keep getting this error message "List does not exist. The page you selected contains

*spoiler alert* doesn't solve anything, it merely states the features you can and cannot do on a mac. So I'm open to suggestions. Also I've tested in Chrome and Safari and the same issue happens.

Since no one answered this and I found the issue I will post it here. First, when trying to login to the <server name>:<port number>/<site name> it wasn't working for macs. I opened the port number on my modem/router and it started working.
The issue where you get the list does not exist is when you use the server's internal IP address. It goes to the site like normal but for whatever reason doesn't let you use it properly. So to reiterate make sure you have opened the port that your connecting
your sharepoint site to, and make sure your using the actual name of the server not its IP address.

Does VECTOR exist only for legacy code support??

My colleague informed me that the VECTOR class was a JAVA 1.0/1.1 implementaiton and is only still around for legacy code support in JAVA 2. Is that a valid statement?? Does SUN publish anything about this issue??

In JDK1.3 doc it says Arraylist is faster than Vector but unsynchronized. So I guess it's better off using Arraylist in most cases, but Vector is still more convenient to use to ensure threadsafe.

Error in SE16n - PIR exsist only in EINE table & does not exist in EINA tab

Hello All,
This is regarding error in Pucrahsing Info Record in which PIR only exist in EINE table & not in EINA table. This is not normal behavior of SAP standard.
In this issue we are able to see P. Info Record (5300083719) details in EINE table only.
But the same PIR does not exist in EINA table .
Also we can not see this in display mode(ME13) & system does not allow us to change PIR. System gives the error message that PIR does not exist.
This is something strange. Can you pls. reply on this.

The PIR No is availabe in EINE (pur org data) and the same PIR is not availabe in EINA table( General data ).
This is Program error. bcz some times system will not get the correct PIR no while creating the PO, in that time system will create new PIR , that no is from buffer table..
And you cannot track that buffer table....... If you want to check the on that day,, how many PO's were created for that same combination of material and vendor.

Select from 1 table only if a value does not exist

I'm having problems devising a single select statement to accomplish a single return value. I have tried variations of DECODE and COALESCE, but it's escaping me.
I have two tables that are as follows:
NAME
ID, FULLNAME

2, Junior
3, Mister
4, Senor
5, Miss
ABBREVIATION
ID, ABBREV
1, Sr
2, Jr
3, Mr
5, Ms
What I would like to do is select from the NAME table only if the value does not exist in the ABBREVIATION table.
Ideally if I were to do something such as:
SELECT * FROM .... WHERE (ID=1 or ID=2 or ID=4) ....
I would receive the following output:
1, Sr
2, Jr
4, Senor

iam getting error as Balancing field "Business Area" in
line item 001 not filled .
If you define document splitting criteria based on Profit Center and if your billing document contains multiple line items with different profit center, this type of error will come.
To check this, Go to IMG Path -- Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Document Splitting --> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger
There check whether the mandatory check box is selected for profit Center. So check in your billing document, whether any line item does not have profit center.

Licecache table missing Table MATRIXINDE does not exist in the database wit

Hello,
We recently done a system copy of our APO system, everything went well. in case of Livecache there are 2 problem
1) when we do the integration for LCA/LDA/LCA while we mentione the Livecache server it is not taking the host name , it is only picking the IP address of the livecache server. If we tried host name, it times out.
2) once we give the IP address as livecache server we can start the live cache server. Bure there is only two tables in it
when we run
transaction Livecache Check (/SAPAPO/OM03) we get the erro i.e.Table MATRIXINDE does not exist in the database with ID LCA
runtime error DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_UNKNOWN
When we look into the tables there are only 2 tables in it
AAPSYSNAME
LCA_WARNINGS
when I compare with other system...it is missing a lots of other tables..
We did re-initialized the livecache.

LCA03 dump - table MATRIXINDEXTAB does not exist

ERROR:
During the post-installation steps of LiveCache, we experience a short-dump:
DBIF_RSQL_TABLE_KNOWN
LMMRP01U66
SAPLMMRP01
MMRP_LC_MATRIX_IND_TAB_MODIFY
Where it attempts to:
INSERT INTO matrixindextab... (the connection is LCA)
Where the table does not exist.
This is definitely the case, as when I run:
sql_execute select * from matrixindextab
From DBMCLI on the LC Server, the table is not found.
SITUATION
We have just installed SCM 7.0 SR1 and LiveCache 7.7.
There are two servers:
dpd
SCM ABAP Stack
SCM Java Stack
LiveCache Client
dcd
LiveCache Server
RESOLUTION
What can be done to resolve this?
In LC10, we have defined LCA, LDA + LEA in the interface.
LiveCache Monitoring connects successfully for all 3 of these.
We have just stopped and restarted LC, but still no luck (probably due to the fact that a simple restart wouldn't create this table).
Is there a reason why it is looking for this table MATRIXINDEXTAB?

This issue is now fixed and LC is now running successfully (the MATRIXINDEXTAB error is no longer shown).

[Solved] Error : The file or folder path /Probl?me 1 does not exist

I encountered this error
The file or folder <path>/Probl?me 2 does not exist
while I was trying to open a directory already extracted from a zip file containing directories with special characters. In this case, it is a "è" that was misinterpreted as a "?".
I searched the forums and on google, the solutions proposed do not work for me. Although, I have to deal with these files written in french, I would like to have my locale in english (US), with a system wide support for special characters.

This solution does not work, because after adding iocharset=utf8, in front or after a "defaults", after a reboot, while mounting the filesystem, there is the following error message:

It is complicated to remove these directories. I had to use the inum to get precisely these directories before removing them.

rm: cannot remove `ProblÈme 1': No such file or directory
What should I do to be make the operating system recognize those special character, and interpret them correctly ?

I had to have fr_CA not only in utf8 but also in iso88591. I had to modify the /etc/rc.conf this way :

To preserve the english US language system wide, I had to add the following line in the /etc/profile :

The character misinterpreted by a "?" is now seen :
as a "è" in dolphin
as a "?" in the console

Error while transporting - Source RSDS 8ZRF_O01 LOGDBQ151 does not exist

I am getting following error while transporting export DataSource to quality system.
Start of the after-import method RS_TRFN_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) TRFN (Activation Mode)
No rule exists
Source RSDS 8ZRF_O01 LOGDBQ151 does not exist
Start of the after-import method RS_DTPA_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) DTPA (Activation Mode)
Transformation does not exist (see long text)
Although, the request is failing, I can see the DataSource 8ZRF_O01 present in the QA system. Only the transformation is set inactive.

might be your data source not collected into transport request.
If you are moving data source from once system to other system, this may missed.
RSA1->Transport connection>all objects>Datasource --> Select your data source as only neecessary to move
When ever we are moving objects from one system to other follow below are order to avoid failures
1).New Infoobjects.
2). Data source/Infosource
3). Info Providers ( Cube/DSo)
4). Update rules/Transformation
5).Impacted objects and other

I just updated an existing slide show that was created several months back. Since loading my new set of files to our web server, we keep getting the following error in our server log files when someone loads our page in IE8 and IE9:

One of our programmers tracked the error to this line of code, but we're not sure what's causing it:

The errors aren't showing up on the client side, only in the server access logs. Every time the page is loaded with IE8 or IE9 and the Muse.Utils.addSelectorFn with the #slideshowu70 line is hit, it generates four errors in the server access logs.
Our admin guy pulled the errors from where it was clicked on from the Adobe forum. He said it also appeared that you tested it with www added to the url (if this was when you were testing it)...

The reason we find it strange is because it did not result in errors with the previous version of the slideshow. The only thing that changed this time around is that I removed some slides and added additional ones, but I noticed that there is a lot of difference in the code and even the scripts that are used. And I did copy over all of the scripts, css files, etc., so it's using all of the new source files.
I was hoping it was something that you guys had noticed if you review the access logs when you're testing. While it works perfectly on the client side, the IT guys do go through our access logs, so it would be nice to eliminate the errors.

APEX_APPLICATION_FILES: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

The ultimate goal is to store PDF files in the database.
In order to complete step 1: To create an application using the Create Application Wizard:
- I first created a user from SYSTEM called 'myapp'
- Next I logged into 'myapp' to continue the exercise. (I am wondering if that is where I am going wrong... If so, please clarify)
- Knowing that I would want to save the upload to a table I created a table with a BLOB
I did the steps for the upload and ran the application - no errors to there.
Next I needed to "To create a report on APEX_APPLICATION_FILES:".
I started the wizard as instructed. When I pasted the SELECT ... FROM APEX_APPLICATION_FILES, I got the table or view does not exist. A quick review of the TABLES tab shows only the tables that I created. Not any of the system tables or views.
I logged back in as SYSTEM and reviewed the 'rights' given the user 'myapp'. All were checked.
I knew nothing of Oracle when I installed XE, so I took defaults or whatever the install doc said to do. Is that part of the problem? It is clear that I do not have rights to see that table, but I also do not see the table when logged in as SYSTEM.

Is this a new installation of GarageBand or has it worked before on the same computer?
Or have you transferrred your GarageBand from a different computer?
The error message is saying, that your GarageBand installation is incomplete. There are essential foldrs missing in your system library.
Check, if indeed both folders are missing or if only the permissions are set incorrectly.
Your system library (the folder "System" directly on your system drive) should have the following folders inside the folder "Audio", and they need to be readable by the system and by administrators.
And in the folder /Library/Application Support there should be the Instrument Library.
If these folders do not exist (or no longer exist), restore them from your backup- If your GarageBand version is a new installation, the application may not hve been downloaded or installed completely, then reinstall GarageBand.
What is your GarageBAnd version, and how did you install it originally?

Error on start: Path does not exist: /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

I get the error "Path does not exist: /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index
Without this directory you can not use the LoopBrowser. Please make sure this directory exists" when starting Garage Band. I also cannot use the onscreen keyboard, or musical typing in GarageBand. All other sounds work fine.
The only thing that changed since I last used GB was that I installed Leopard. (and that was a while ago, so I thought all was well and got rid of my last Tiger backup. )
Any suggestions?

Another update: I tried to reinstall garage band from the disks that came with my mac, but got the error:
"Install Failed
Unable to Install
The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install."
