Does LiveType work with Snow Leopard?

Question

I recently updated to Snow Leopard and the latest Final Cut Studio. When I went to open LiveType, I got the following message:
LiveType quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the application again. Click Report to see more detailed information and send a report to Apple.
Does LiveType work with Snow Leopard? Do I trash my preferences or reinstall the program from my original version of Final Cut Studio?
Any ideas?

Am I the only one who feels like that is ridiculous? Apple provides the possibility to upgrade to the new Final Cut Studio from the original version of Final Cut Studio, but in so doing, disables a program that was working fine before the upgrade, and doesn't provide any avenue to fix the problem? Is that really the way things work in the world of Apple computing? Does that compute?
I hope that this is not right...

The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them.
About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They invent. They imagine. They heal. They explore. They create. They inspire. They push the human race forward.
Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art? Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written? Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.
But in Apple's world, if you missed update number two then that's all you're going to get is an empty canvas, because the program used to put print on your canvas is no longer available. And if you go looking for another option, like for instance if you take their slogan literally:
They’re not fond of rules.
Then what is Apple going to do about it? I think if you read the news it's pretty obvious what Apple's going to do about it.
Is it any wonder that they dismissed their slogan, because it did not fit in with their business plan.
