Does Logic 8 have an autosave option?

Oh please say yes! When I worked with the far inferior Cubase VST,
with OS 9, I could tell it to autosave once every minute.
It didn't save over the main song. A special, autosave copy of the
song was saved. This prevented so much work from being lost due to
untimely crashes.
It would be soooo simple to implement. Did they with Logic 8?

I noticed that the default Auto-Backup was 10 copies of your project.
Although there is no option yet in the preferences, I did find this post on a logic users group on Yahoo and it worked great!

I've had Logic Pro 8 for two days now and I'm impressed. Not only does it sound better (not sure why) but it's far easier to use. LP7 was always unwieldy and confusing. And I didn't want to spend weeks with the manuals trying to learn all the ins and outs. But after only two days working through the Getting Started manual, I'm so much farther along in LP8 than I ever was in LP7. I think it's fair to say LP8 is proving to be what I had hoped LP7 would have been, but never was -- a fun, reasonably intuitive application.

Does Logic Studio have a drum machine?

I'm a noob about drum machines and how they are used, but I suppose I will need one. And I would like to know if does Logic comes with a drum machine or if I'll need to add an external drum machine. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Does the free 1 month test not have all the functionality of the subscription?
I'm trying to add a blog to see how easy it is to add, but can't work out how to add the module, and get it working.
I'm liking the concept, but not sure if I'm seeing the whole package. Any help would be great

Yes, you can start a site at a higher level than basic ... just not in Muse or Dreamweaver.

Hi, I'm thinking of purchasing the new Apple TV, in order to use it for mirroring my iPad2 running iOS6.
Is this possible? are there certain figures, my wireless router should have? (like minimum 300MB/sec. or something..) in order not to have lag on transmission?

I haven't actually seen any specifications on the data rates applicable to AirPlay, however I feel that 20 Mb per second would likely be ample to cover a scenario where the iPad is receiving a stream from the Internet and sending it at the same time by mirroring to the Apple TV. Please be aware that this is my opinion, it is not necessarily fact.

Does Logic have db scales markers on the output levels or individual chanels?

I am looking to buy Logic Pro or Pro logic. Does Logic have VU markers on the output levels, or individual chanels. I use this as a guide to mixing as I know that bass should be at -6db, lead vox at -6db at the output meter on a traditional desk. I can see that Logic does has levels for each chanel but no scale next to it. Is this an option that can be turned on and off?
I can see that it registers the peak level, but I need to see the average level. Looking at pictures and clips on you tube aren't enough to confirm my answer. I know that Pro Tools has this which can be switch on or off. Does Logic?

I came to Lightroom quite recently (in the last month!) from Photoshop Elements 11. I like the organization features in LR better, but for adjustments such as the ones that you mentioned I would leave LR and go back to Photoshop Elements 11, primarily because that is what I know. I don't use the subscription service, mainly because I already owned and installed the boxed version of Photoshop Elements 11 and adding it to a subscription service with Lightroom seemed redundant. I am sure someone in the community will (or has) comment(ed) that it is possible to whiten teeth and cure blemishes within LR, but I haven't figured out how to do that yet. Check out the TV Adobe free tutorials, particularly Julianne Kost's tutorials. She has a good presentation style and you might find the LR answer that you need with detailed instructions.

Import and Backup is the third (last) button on the toolbar in the Bookmarks Manager (Library) that looks like a star.<br />
Other platforms show the text label, but on Mac you only see toolbar icons.
