What you need to do is set wordwrap to the textfield component of the textinput
so ...
textinputname.textField.wordWrap = true;
walla multiline textInput, hope this helps

Why does't Apple allow you to read your iBooks library over the web from a browser or me account? I have time to read during the day via a browser, but not by Ipad or Iphone. I love the features that iBook offers, but I have had to settle for Google books which is slow to upgrade its features. I just want to be able to highlight, copy and past and make notes and also have the option to read a book in a browser like google books.

Unfortunately, it would have much more impact if it were true.
Just because you don't know how to do something... that doesn't mean it can't be done.
I do what you say can't be done every day.
You just need to put your iPod into manual update mode, and everything will be fine. You songs won't be greyed out, and you can play them with no trouble at all.
So, next time you need help with something, just ask for help and we'll help you. It'll certainly make yourself look less foolish this way.
Ranting and bashing Apple for no reason isn't going to win many people over.

Why use iMovie, a special add on or Final Cut?
QuickTime Pro could do the job in just a few minutes:
Open each file in a new player window.
From the first select all, copy (Command-A for all and Command -C for copy).
Switch to the second file and position the playhead at the beginning of the timeline.
Command-Shift-V (Add to movie).
Open Movie Properties window and then the Visual Settings tab. This is where you adjust the dimensions of the two video tracks and the "Offset" of one of the tracks.
Default location is 0,0 (upper left). If you have two 320X240 tracks set the offset values to 0,320 to have them side by side. 240,0 would have them top and bottom.
Save As makes a new file with these two tracks.

I quit using iphoto with 08 since I can't access the photos from my Adobe applications. I'm using Bridge right now, but there are some features I prefer in iphoto. However, I use these photos in publications and have to export them to another place in order to use them. Has this changed in the 09 version? I'd like to know before I spend the money on the update....

Well since you always had full access to your photos it has not changed - it also has not changed that the iPhoto library is a UNIX style package and it has not changed that you need to access your photos correctly - Click here for a discussion on accessing your photo in iPhoto '08 and '09

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Exactly the same question I was about to post!
Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!
Come on Apple!!
Just need an option for the calender event to add to reminder or the old drag to add to reminder functionality back, Please???

If you check all the groups then you will see the combined contacts in all of the groups. If you want to see (browse) the contacts in, for example, just one group, only check this one group and tap done. If you check two groups and tap Done you will see the combined contacts belonging to these two groups.
Try checking a single group and uncheck all others, tap Done and you'll see what I mean.

Nobody here is responsible for what is or is not available in any country. I believe it is a software licensing thing.

We relied upon the "days available for download" to get people to take
action more quickly. The "virus scanning" progress bar was simply another
way of knowing this activity was actually taking place - unless this is
written somewhere in the Adobe Send User Guide.....wherever that is.

Before you do anything, go to Help | Check For Updates and install v3.6.16. There was a security breach at Comodo which is an SSL certificate provider whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. This allows a hacker to impersonate any site including online banking and your browser will not display a warning. The latest update in the 3.6.x series blacklists those certificates.

Setting White/Black Points using the Tone Curve

I'm trying to set white/black points using the tone curve, but when I try to slide either of the end points of the line in the tone curve tool I can't get them to move. Could those be locked somehow...?

That's what it is supposed to do. Without the sliders, you are working with the curve itself. Now you have direct control of the curve, and can drag any part of it. Have you considered setting your white and black points using the whites and blacks in the basic panel while holding down the alt/opt key? I suppose the reason it says point curve is because that icon is what you used to switch to the point curve.

Logic unfortunately does not support any VST's by themselves. Rather they support AU's (Audio Units). So you cannot plug Halion 2 into Logic easily.
However, I have heard that you can install an AU called Plogue Bidule that allows you to run VST's. It acts as a sort of middle man so that you open the AU that opens the VST. I don't know too much about it, but it appears that they have some content on their website to look at if you are interested.

Considering purchasing Final cut express but wondering if anyone know if it allows you to create EDLs?
Also curious as to wether timelines created in Express can also be used in Studio?

A timeline created in FCE can be used in FCP, but not vice versa. FCE has no EDL export function.
