Does Logic respond to CC's 34 and 43?

My copy of Logic Pro is from the Studio 1 Box, so is it the same as the $199 version in the app store? I was allowed to update via the APP Store to 9.1.8 but the AU plug in I use sends CC7 which causes the faders to go crazy because CC7 is the default choice. I can change that to any other CC # in the plugins' interface
If Logic responds to 34  and 43 I could change these settings, as is the faders go straight up to the max even when the display double vertical yellow  bars are showing almost no raise in volume, my MIDI controller is set to send only breath CC 2 and what I hear in the recorded MIDI file is not usable because of the clipping, but sending that Tracks out put via a bus to an audio track and recording it gives a normal sounding audi file. I would still be better off using the CC"s 34 and 43 if Logic can.
That volume dial above the Input Device menu is not set normally at +7.0-I move it down to +2.0 but still the fader keeps jumping up to 127, even in soft passages. I will go later to change that 10.8.3 to 10.8.4

If you have v 9.1.8 you have the latest (same) version as the AppStore one.
Logic defaults to using MIDI CC7 to control the channel strip volume ( and a few other CC's as well), and there is no quick/easy way to stop it. Whilst updating to OSX 10.8.4 might help with some other issues, it will not help with this particular one
Best solution would be to use some other CC's that Logic does not directly respond to, such as the ones you mention.
