Does logitech mouses work at os x

Does a bluetooth logitech mouse generally work on os x without any software problems?

Ask Logitech if you have a problem. I've used Logitech mice for decades on my Macs, but I don't use a BT mouse.

Does Magic Mouse work with IPad Air?

Yes, it is a Bluetooth device. However, my iPad will not connect to the mouse.  Not sure why.
I use my iPad as my personal computer. Mainly for surfing the web, social media, paying bills online... I already have a Bluetooth keyboard that connects to the iPad, so thought it would be nice to have a mouse.

  • Will my logitech mouse work? - Closed

I am planning on upgrading to a Macbook and was wondering if my mouse would work. I will supply model # upon request.

Yes it will, and probably even  better than on a Windoze PC.
Just be sure to download and install the latest Logitech Control Center software from their site in order to exploit all the buttons and goodies on the mouse. Else it will behave like a plain-jane generic two-button rodent.
With LCC, you'll even be able to configure what each button or control does contextually, based on which particular application is frontmost.

  • Logitech mouse thumb button doesn't work with Firefox upgrade

After upgrading to the latest version of Firefox, my Logitech mouse works, but NOT the thumb button, (which I have configured to be a double click).

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
    * Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

  • Logitech mouse right click  relaunching Finder

I have been having a problem with any and all of my Logitech devices on my MacPro. Every once in a while (I hate every once in a while stuff!!) when I right click when I am in Finder or in a regular window on the desktop, the Finder re-launches immediately. This happens as soon as I right click, but only, it seems, when the machine has sat idle for 10 or more minutes. It can happen a few times a day. It resets any open Finder windows to the default home folder. In all programs, the right click works perfectly as it should.
The Apple mighty mouse doesn't do this at all, but two LX7's, my MX700, and MX1000, along with an old wired Logitech mouse I have all do the same thing. I have tried dumping the logitech prefs, uninstalling the control software and reinstalling it after a restart, using the factory default settings, and it still happens. The only thing I can relate it to is that it seems to have started when I tested out a Logitech keyboard on this machine, but then went back to my Apple board. I have also done a system reinstall since, and the problem is still there. Any suggestions that might help me nail this thing?

I see what you are getting at now, but the same mouse (and for that matter all the other Logitech mouses) work fine on my laptop and wife's iMac using the same LCC and mac OS (intel and ppc).
It has to be some level of command conflict between the OS and the LCC, but what and why only on this one computer, and what can be done to remedy it. Yes , if you only use the Mac OS software, there is no problem, but as it is unique to this computer, there is something somewhere that is causing this. The question is "what can I purge/change" to correct this. It could be in the LCC, it could be in the OS.
    Thanks; Rick

  • Logitech mouse buttons not working in photoshop cc 2014

logitech mouse buttons not working in photoshop cc 2014 winds 8.1. Is this a common problem?
I have updated the latest drivers and have a few buttons programmed with keyboard shortcuts that used to work in previous versions of Photoshop but don't work now.
Scrolling with mouse in bridge stopped working in cc butI see it is now working.
    any ideas?

Many Photoshop extensions are not compatible with Photoshop CC 2014 for Adobe removed support for Flash Panels in CC 2014. Many extensions panels are flash based.  Check with the developer to see if their blendmein extension works with CC 2014.
Adobe does not maintain Photoshop so it backward compatible with prior versions of Photoshop.  This brakes things like action scripts plugins extensions etc. Keep old version of Photoshop installed....

Does the hp mini wireless mouse work with a mac?

The only one that will work with OSX is the one you order with the Mac Pro from Apple. The others don't have the correct firmware for OSX.
I've also noticed that the online store lets have an option for the QuadroFX 5800 to purchase with a Mac Pro
No, it's the NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600. That is the only way to get it. NVIDIA does not sell it directly.

  • Logitech mouse wheel stopped working

    Hello,
I had this mouse for a long time. It's a Logitech Cordless Optical mouse connected to a Linksys KVM (I share with 4 different computers). Last week the mouse scroll wheel stooped working. I tried another Logitech mouse (G9) to directly to the USB of my Mac and the mouse wheel scrolls fine.
Now the problem's the old mouse wheel works fine on my other computers. I tried turning the KVM off, resetting the IR unit, and of course rebooting my mac. Nothing worked. The odd thing is, if I connect the old mouse directly to the Mac, it works OK.
I really hate the G9. I'd rather stick with my current mouse, but I need the scroll wheel. Any ideas?

Your profile lists one of the computers as "Hackintosh." Because OS X is licensed for use only with Apple branded computers & the Discussions Terms of Use prohibit discussing illegal uses of software, & equally importantly because we have no idea of how running a hacked version of OS X on non-Apple hardware might be a part of your problem, we cannot help you.
    Sorry.

  • After update, keyboard and trackpad does not work on MBA but wireless mouse works. I don't use a wireless keyboard. Stuck at login because need to enter pw. Anyone have this issue? Please help!

My Macbook Air (13", mid 2011) right after I did the Maverick OS update. My keyboard on Macbook Air is not working and it says "There isn't a keyboard connected" (Bluetooth Keyboard Setup). I do not use a wireless keyboard. Apparently my bluetooth works because my wireless mouse works. I am currently stuck at my login screen not being able to get in because I can't even enter my password. I am, however, able to login as guests and get to the Keyboard viewer to type things with my wireless mouse. I really need my keyboard to work to use for my job. I need help please!

I forgot to mention that my power button did work but everything else, keyboard and trackpad, didn't! Anyway, I shutdown my laptop, slept, and turned it back (in hopes that it might work instead of restarting it like before). Now my keyboard and trackpad works! Thank goodness! I was about to go to the Apple store upset too!

  • Share one monitor/keyboard/mouse - Belkin Flip - does USB keyboard work?

I'm thinking about getting a Belkin Flip (http://www.belkin.com/flip)
to share my 22" (DVI) monitor between Mac and PC. The Flip can also
share mouse and keyboard. I know a USB mouse works on the Macbook, but
I don't know about the USB keyboard (what key would be the Apple-clover?)

Well, I went ahead and bought the Belkin flip - worked out-of-the-box!
The first thing I got working was the DVI display hookups, one for my PC
    the other for my Mac.
Then I got the USB working for mouse+keyboard and then finally sound.
When I switch from the Mac back to my PC, it sometimes takes XP a few
seconds to recognize the mouse+keyboard, but it hasn't been longer
    than say a minute.

  • USB supplies power. Mouse works, but drives do not. What do I do?

    White Macbook mid-2007, OS 10.7.5
About a year ago, iSight randomly stopped working while mid-skype call.
iSight is not recognized, and Photobooth and Skype both display that there is no camera connected.
Tried resetting SMC and NVRAM, but neither worked. Gave up immediately since iSight not working was not a huge issue at the time.
Later realized USB ports would not longer read USB drives, but could just LAN sync with Dropbox, so again was not a big issue.
Searched around a lot for fixes, but basically seemed that the logic board was in need of replacement and had no plans to replace it, so gave up.
However, recently discovered that plugging in either a wired or wireless logitech USB mouse actually works.
If a mouse works, why do drives not work?
Plugging in certain drives will blink the LEDs but no drive appears in Finder or Disk Utility.
iSight still does not work, and in System Information, under the USB High-Speed Bus header, there is neither a triangle to expand the listing nor is there anything below it.
I've searched for hours and haven't seen anyone post about a similar problem, so I finally posted asking for help.
Anyone have any ideas? I had just written it off as a lost cause, but discovering that USB mice still function perfectly has made me wonder if it's still fixable.

this question has been answered in another forum - i didn't have file sharing turned on for both computers.

  • Logitech Mouse Snow Leopard 10.6.1 Experience

I have a Logitech MX Revolution mouse and after updating to 10.6 & 10.6.1 only the basic two buttons worked. This is an awesome mouse so it was frustrating. But did an internet search found fix (Work Around). Logitech does not have an update for 10.6 yet but this work around will get you going until then. I give credit to Megan Lavey from Sept 1, 09:
Logitech has not updated its drivers -- usually bundled with its Logitech Control Center application -- for Snow Leopard yet, and an upgrade to the software will take some time, Alan reports. In the meantime, you can work around this issue by doing the following:
    Re-download Logitech Control Center 3.0
( http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/494/3129&cl=us,en) if you do not still have the installation package on your machine.
Unzip the download, then right-click on the installer package. Select "Show All Contents."
Navigate through the package to the Contents folder, then the Resources folder. There, you'll find the Logitech Control Center.mkpg. Double-click on it and install it.
Once your system has rebooted, you'll find that you regain full access to customizing your Logitech mouse (and it works for keyboards as well.) It even carried over all of my customized keyboard button settings from Leopard, so you shouldn't have to go through much hassle to reconfigure your equipment. The only thing I had to readjust was the scroll speed on my mouse.
If you have Exposé as one of your mouse/keyboard button settings, copy (do not move) the Expose.app file from /Applications/Utilities to the /Applications folder. Then Exposé will work properly again.

I wonder if you would be better creating an 'alias' by dragging Exposé.app with the Command & alt keys held down. It would mean any software updates to Exposé will be provided to Logitech Control Center (LCC).
An alternative to LCC is ControllerMate. I switched to it when Logitech were using 'Application Enhancer' hacks for the LCC driver, it seems Logitech have stopped doing that nasty hack now, but ControllerMate & SteerMouse are alternative drivers.
