Does LR 5.5 RAW 8.5 Recognize Panasonic Cameras & Lenses?
Why doesn't any of the Panasonic lens or cameras show up in the Lens Corrections>Profiles>Enable Profile Corrections window? Under the Lens profile options when I click on the down arrow it shows nothing related to Panasonic. Lightrooms web site says it supports Panasonic. Does anyone know why nothing for Panasonic is listed? Thanks in advance.
If this is a newer Panasonic camera, a micro 4/3 (MFT) camera, then it is likely that the lens profiles are built in and always on, invisibly doing their job, therefore cannot be selected or deselected in a list of profiles.
Starting with, I think, ACR 8.4 for Photoshop, there is information about whether a built-in profile is being used or not, but LR, as yet, doesn't have this indication so questions like yours arise all the time.
If you want to post an example files, using dropbox then someone with PS may be able to tell you if your camera has built-in profiles or not.

Does Photoshop Elements support raw files from the Panasonic GH3 camera?
Does Photoshop Elements support raw files from the Panasonic GH3 camera?
Yes, if you have PSE 11 (not the mac app store version). You will need to go to Help>Updates in the editor to update ACR to 7.3.

Would like to purchase PSE 12 to process Camera Raw files for the following cameras: Nikon D800, Nikon DF, Canon G9 and Pentax K-3 does the Raw Converter that comes with PSE 12 when purchased recognize the cameras listed in the question or do I need to download the camera Raw Version 8.3 ?
While the G9 RAW files can be read by Adobe Camera RAW and Lightroom, these file are unsupported at this time. Here is a link to Adobe's latest list of cameras that are supported and this list came out yesterday http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html
I have not done a comparison between Lightroom and Canon's software but others have and say that Canon's software is clearly better. I am sure when Adobe updates their software again to include the G9 it will be a very good RAW converter as it is will most other cameras. -
Why Photoshop doesn't recognize the Camera Raw modifications ?
Dear all
I'have passed to Yosemite few day ago reinstalling all the CS6 suite, but now when I open an elaborated photo from Camera Raw to Photoshop, I can't see any modifications: it's seems that Photoshop doesn't recognize the Camera Raw modifications.
Someone could help me ?Couple of things:
1. That's not what Photoshop does. It's not an image manager, it's a file editor. So, you can set Photoshop to start when you connect your camera but it will stat and nothing will happen.
2. You need to decide how you want to manage your photos. You can do this with iPhoto, the Finder or something else. Which ever you decide let us know and we can help you set that up. -
I have OS 10.4.11 and iTunes 9.2.1 (5). My iPhone 4s does not appear in iTunes. only iPhoto recognize my iPhone. Update of iTunes seems not possible. How can I make appear my iPhone in iTunes?
From the box the iphone came in:
Syncing with iTunes on a Mac or PC requires:
Mac: OS X v10.5.8 or later
PC: Windows 7; Windows Vista; or Windows XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 3 or later
iTunes 10.5 or later (free download fromwww.itunes.com/download)"
You will need Mac OS 10.5.8 or later in order to get itunes 10.5 or later, in order to connect your iphone. -
Bridge wont recognizw my Nikon d610. I am running windows 8 and photoshop cs6 with 8.6 camera raw plug in. How can I get bridge to recognize my camera? Thanks!!
That camera model has been supported since ACR 8.3 and it is most certainly supported by ACR 8.6 and ACR 8.7 (beta).
Either you have damaged, corrupt image files, or a faulty Photoshop and/or ACR installation.
If there are no privacy issues, you can post one of your files to the FTP service of your choice (such as Dropbox or yousendit.com), post the link to it, and someone here can take a look at it for you. -
I use photoshop elements version 11. I just bought a nikon d750. Photoshop elements can't read/open the raw/NEF-file.
Does a raw converter exist for this camera and where can I find it ?
Thanks for any help.
erwing97792269You need Adobe camera raw version 8.7. Unfortunately your software pre-dates the camera. ACR 8.7 is only compatible with PSE13. But it is possible to download and install the free DNG converter to convert your raw files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your originals as backups and for use in the camera manufactures software)
Windows download (.exe file) click here DNG Converter 8.7
Mac download (.dmg file) click here DNG Converter 8.7
You can convert a whole folder of raw images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

Adobe, please can you provide an update asapHello!
I think that you need to be patient.
There has not been any release of Camera Raw since the release of the camera.
I recommend to try the next version once it will be released, as there might be preliminary support (and therefore not listed).
Usually, Adobe is amongs the firsts to support a new camera.
Even though the Camera Raw team is fielded with wonderful coders, I do not think that they do have a time machine to allow support before they have their hands on a camera -
Does elements 13 support raw files
?
Yes it does support raw files BUT if it supports your raw files depends on which camera created the raw files.
Here is the list of cameras supported
Camera Raw plug-in | Supported cameras
Tell us your make and model and we may be able to confirm support for that camera.

Does iPhoto 11 support RAW files from Nikon D800?
Does iPhoto 11 support Raw files from a Nikon D800 or do I need to upgrade to Apeture? I am running 10.7.4. and currently use iPhoto '09
Aperature and iPhoto use the same RAW support - you probably need to upgrade to iPhoto '11 - purchase from the App store, backup your iPhoto library and upgrade - the RAW support list is here

Does Elements 12 support Raw files from Nikon D610
Does Elements 12 support Raw files from Nikon D610
Yes, as long as you update your camera raw plug-in (ACR) to version 8.3 using Help / Updates… in the PSE Editor.

How fast does Apple produce new RAW files for new cameras? I want to buy a D7100 wich is not supported in the present version?
Jeannot7 wrote:
I'm interested in seeing who gets the D7100 support first? Apple or Adobe!! I will go with the one that gets it out first.
FWIW,
Adobe keeps a quarterly release schedule for RAW updates. The current Lightroom 4.4 RC expires on 5/31/2013 which typically is an indication that the official release will be close to that date. According to the current list of new supported cameras, the Nikon D7100 is not slated to be supported (but that could change on release).
http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom4-4/?tabID=details#tabTop
The most likely time frame for Adobe support of the D7100 will be sometime in August or September 2013 (although there will probably be a Lightroom 4.5 RC available prior to that for testing purposes). -
Since changing my little everyday camera to a new Nikon Coolpix P7100 iPhoto cannot import any of the raw files(.NRW),says it does not recognise them.
I have updated iPhoto to the latest version(9.2.1) but still cannot open them.
Any ideas pleaseThe raw from the P7100 is not supported at this time.
The Raw from every model of camera is different. Note: that's every model not every brand. So, the NEF produced by a Nikon D40 is not the same as the NEF produced by a D60, the CR2 produced by a Canon 350 is not the same as the CR2 produced by a Canon 400.
Therefore the Raw for every camera model needs to be added individually. If yours is not supported then let them know you want it:

Why does Lightroom keep doing this to my RAW files?
I load my raw files into lightroom and it does this to a few images and some times many of the images..it does not matter which card I use..I thought it was a bad card one time and threw it out. I actually quite using Lightroom a year ago because of this and FORGOT and started using it again. It ruins the files. Once its loaded into Lightroom and it does this to the raw file its permanant. Help!
JolieThis is probably a hardware problem as Lr does not write to RAW files. See this thread.
