Does Mac Messenger work with iPhone 4 system 5.01...? (I am receiving a notification of receipt but cannot see the messages sent.)

I have an iPhone 4, with OS 5.1
I am receiving notifications of messages sent by various other users but cannot see the messages.
Question: does Mac Messenger only work with 4S models..?

MSN messenger is still active in development, It has just been crippled - no Nudges, no msn games, no drawing, no a/v support etc..You can still do the basics; Talk to your friend, custom smileys/multiple convos.
Note you can't sort contacts by e-mail (a feature I missed from Windows). Adium does attempt to solve a few problems but the group convo feature with MSN doesn't work very well - I still prefer Messenger for Mac because it holds the general 'look and feel' of MSN messenger for windows. (Kind of :P).

Yes airplay works from the iPhone 4. However the iPhone 4 will not mirror to the Apple TV that requires the iPhone 4s.

Does Mac Office work with Microsoft Office

I'm a teenager making a choice on getting a macbook for school because I heard macs are outstanding and have done research on them too. The only thing I dont know and need to know is that, does the Mac Office work with Mircosoft Office? I would like to know this because I like to write papers home and at school but I dont know if I can transfer the data from my schools Mirosoft Office to a Mac Office.

Does SMS forwarding work with iPhone 4s?

I still have iOS 7 on my iPhone 4s, and I will only upgrade to iOS 8.1 if there is a good reason (as best features of 8.1 such as Airdrop to Mac are not supported by 4s hardware). SMS forwarding should not have hardware restrictions, but you never know.
So can anyone please confirm that SMS forwarding works from MBP Yosemite to iPhone 4s iOS 8.1? (I tested it and works fine from MBP to iPhone 5s / iOS 8.1).

Keep in mind ANY iMessage from an iPhone to another iPhone IS NOT a text but an Apple proprietary messaging system which Verizon or it's Family Base has no control over.
Messages from iPhones to other platforms, i.e. android, windows phones, BB, do use SMS and would show up or be able to be controlled thru Family Base.

ACS 5.2 Sync with Windows 2008 AD but cannot see the Groups

Hi Pals,
Recently I've been working with the ACS 5.2 (Installed on VMWare). At the beginning I was using a Win Server 2003 Enterprise edition AD, and there was no problem with the AD and the CA Authority. Because some of my customers use Win Server 2008 I change the AD platform to Win Server 2008 Enterprise edition (x64).
I don't really have a great experience with Win Server Platforms and, for what I've seen, the Win Server 2003 Services deployment is easier than the Win Server 2008 is.
So, when I used the Win server 2003 I could not only synchronize the ACS with the AD but also use some groups created on the AD to perform the Network Access Authentication. When I try to do the same with the Win Server 2008 AD the ACS and the Server get Synchronized but when I want to add the groups for the Authentication purposes there is no one, absolutely nothing... so I cannot do any test.
Also I looked for information about the compatibility between the ACS 5.2 and the Win Server 2008 platforms and at the end the platforms are compatibles.
Any Idea??

This should generally work.
From what I could read, you cannot list AD groups when trying to select them under an authentication/authorization rule.
What about when trying to list them under the AD configuration?
Users and Identity Stores > External Identify Stores > Active Directory > Directory Groups > select...
Unfortunately, without more details on a specific error message, it would be hard to tell where the root cause could lie.
We could collect some initial logs from ACS 5.2, in order to start isolating the issue:
1. Log in to the ACS command line and enable the following debugs:
admin# acs-config
Escape character is CNTL/D.
Username:
Password:
acsadmin(config-acs)# debug-adclient enable
acsadmin(config-acs)# debug-log mgmt level debug
acsadmin(config-acs)# debug-log runtime level debug
2. Recreate the issue a couple of times by trying to list the AD groups in the authentication rule and even by trying to list them under
Users and Identity Stores > External Identify Stores > Active Directory > Directory Groups > select...
3. Take note of the time stamp when you recreate the issue and then collect the ACS support bundle from the Monitoring & Report Viewer, under
Troubleshooting > ACS Support Bundle
Please be sure of collecting the support bundle while checking the following options:
Include full configuration database = Unchecked
Include debug logs = All
Include local logs = All
Include core files = All
Include monitoring and reporting logs (all categories checked) = Include files from the last 1 day
Also, please communicate the time stamp when the issue is observed, so that we can track it faster in the logs.

WVC54GC works fine but cannot see the movie attached to the email

I have VISTA and WMP (windows media player) 11.0
My WVC54GC works fine, I can see the real-time video in IE, etc. BUT when I try to read the video attached in an alert email, I just see nothing in Windows Media Player. I think the video is playing for few secs but I see nothing in WMP.
Any clue?
note: I could also forward you one of these alert email (you could check whether you can play the attachment).

I found the answer in the forum, by changing the file extension from .asf into .asx, it works.
Why is the video sent with a .asf?

Im trying to export a video to AVI but cannot see the option, Im on a mac. Is this option a windows only option?

The company I work for use AVI videos for Nuendo and I have recently installed my Adobe CC to test efficiency in creating video files for our clients. making QT is a piece of cake but cannot seem to find an option to create AVI anywhere. Would this option be available if I were to install Adobe CC on a Windows machine or is there no longer any support for AVI?

Very "iffy". They will "work" but there are only a few video cards that work "properly" with Apple displays. So unless you are lucky enough to have one, you may experience a number of issues not the least of which is no BIOS or startup screens, lack of controls, problems with the USB ports, etc. You would be better off (IMMHO) to go with a Sony or HP display. As to the keyboard, the layout is different so while it might "work" it will probably drive you nuts. Plus there are no windoze drivers for the Apple keyboards so the function (volume, brightness, eject, etc.) keys probably won't do what you expect either.
