Angry Birds by Rovio is cost USD$0.99 on the iOS App Store, can I get the same appcation for free in Mac App Store under 'Purchased'?

You can't, as iOS and Mac OS X are two different operating systems. Just like you would have to purchase a Windows and a Mac version of applications if you wanted to run it on both.

  • Does MAC OS X support dialog/cdialig utility ?

I installed the XCode developer tools, but I didn't find the dialog/cdialog utility. I do have a copy of the source code, but which will need the ncurses library -> and which xcode doesn't support neither.
Does anyone know how to get/port the dialog/cdialog utility to Xcode/terminal enviroment?

I found and finally successfully installed the xdialog (darwinport), but it must be run under X11, does anyone know how to launch X11 from terminal/command line in Mac OS X?

    Such as a Windows keyboard...

I would think so, but don't have one.
    Windows® key = Mac's CMD key, & alt =Mac's Option/alt key usually.

  • Does mac mini (late 2014) supports dual-band wifi sharing?

    Hello,
First of all, i'm not native speaker, so, please excuse my poor english.
I have a mac mini (late 2014) and use the wifi-sharing feature of yosemite.
(Ethernet is connected to Mac mini and other devices such as mac air are connected to Mac mini through wifi)
For wifi-sharing, channel 44 is used, and as i know, it is located on 5Ghz band.
By the way, i plan to buy a sony srs x7 bluetooth speaker which also supports airplay only on 2.4GHz wifi internet.
If i wanna connect that speaker to Mac-mini's hotspot, should i change the wifi-channel of mac-mini to 2.4GHz band? or, can mac mini provides wifi hotspot for both 2.4GHz and 5GHz simultaneously?

Bluetooth is a different network than the wifi network. BT is 2.4 GHz only while wifi cn be 2.4 and/or 5 GHz.
Your BT speakers will work fine using the BT capability of the Mac

  • HT201343 I have a Late 2011 model 13' Macbook Pro and i purchased Apple TV because it should support Airplay mirroring.  It says i should have the airplay icon on my menu bar but it does not appear.

According to the help page i was viewing my Late 2011 13' MacBook Pro should support Airplay Mirroring.  However the airplay icon does not appear on my menu bar like i says it should and when i go to System prefereneces>Display nothing appears there about Mirroring as well (like it says it should).  The help page specifically says that Late 2011 MacBook Pros should support Mirroring etc...
    Any suggestions?  I'm all ears...

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Airplay needs 10.8 or later, you need to update your operating system.

Does 10.5.6 Support Dual displays for Radeon 9800 Pro Mac Edition cards?
And is there driver updates for anyone using the all-in-ones HP printers...has anyone been able to use their scanners since the update? and has the dual screen support been added to avoid the blue screen on startup?

The ATI Radeon 9600 PC/Mac edition 256 MB should work in the MDD G4. It has two DVI ports (one is dual-link and can support a 30" display). You will need adapters for ADC displays.

Can I update my Mac to support airplay mirroring?

P.S. Forgot to mention you might try a 3rd party application called AirParrot. I have never tried it but it was developed to let you mirror from Mac's that don't meet the hardware requirements.

  • Does mountain lion support airplay mirroring

I am trying to get netflix on apple TV and have had 2 stories aout airplay. 1 is you cannot use airplay from the imac outside the itune app if you have a core dual processor? Secondly you need mountain lion to use airplay outside of itunes. Reason being I am trying to get netflix onto the big screen using apple tv and am in an area netflix is not in yet. Before i go to mountain lion from snow leopard i wanted to ensure i could do it on the imac i have. otherwise the choice is a cable or a new imac!!!

  • Does Mac support 1080p video?

Does mac and imovie 11 support 1080p video?

"Got your "Ins and Outs of iMovie" eBook; did not finish reading.
Read Appendix B (720p) or C (1080p). Here is some additional information for you:
When you next launch iMovie, and create a new project, the Project Properties will show 25fps or 30fps.
However, when you drag the first 50p or 60p clip into the project, when you check Project Properties you will see the fps field is blank.
Do not click in this Properties field.
From this point onward, iMovie will work at 50fps or 60fps.
Animated effects created by iMovie will be, however, created at25fps or 30fps. Each frame will be repeated twice.
iMovie must now process twice the number of frames per second, so it may be more sluggish.
