  • Does Mac support Canon MP600 scanner

my Mac support the printer portion but I cant get the scanner to work.  Does anyone know
if Canon MP600 is supported for the scanner portion of the machine?

Hi, to everybody who has a problem with the scanner MP600 on Mavericks. Found a way how it works:
Uninstall and Reinstall the software according to the instruction that Candacefae gave us. Instead pick software and driver for Lion including MP Navigator. Then Restart Computer. After done click on Application folder and Canon Utilities. Then click on MP Navigator. And voila. You can scan.
A little annoyance but it works. Keep in mind - clicking on System Preferences and Open Scanner will not work!
For everybody else who does not want to deal with all the steps there is always Vuscan - just cost $79.95 for the Premiumversion. Works with all Models no matter how old.

  • My current Camera Raw 5.7 for Photoshop CS4 Extended does not support Canon EOS 6D. What can I do? Will there be a Photoshop Camera RAW for that?

My current Camera Raw 5.7 for Photoshop CS4 Extended does not support Canon EOS 6D. What can I do? Will there be a Photoshop Camera RAW for that?

You would need Camera Raw 7.3 or later to open those files. Adobe is not going to update CS4. You can either get a newer version of Photoshop that comes with a current version of Camera Raw, or you can use the DNG converter to save your files down to the ACR version that works with CS4.

  • IPhoto does not support Canon Powershot S45 RAW Format

    Hi,
It seems iPhoto does not support Canon Powershot S45 RAW file format. Can this be added to be supported!?
Does anyone know how to report this to Apple and request this as a feature enhancement?

  • I have lightroom 4.4 and it does not support Canon EOS 70D what to do?

I have lightroom 4.4 and it does not support Canon EOS 70D raw files. What do I do?

    Several choices
Download the free Adobe DNG Converter version 8.5 and convert your RAWs to DNG and import those into Lightroom
Use the software that came with the camera to convert the RAWs into TIF and import those into Lightroom
Purchase the upgrade to Lightroom 5

    Does mac support outlook?

Do you want to run Outlook on your iMac if you do then sure you only need a license of MS Office for Mac 2011 which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. You can find MS Office for Mac at any Apple Store or retailer that sells Apple products. You can also buy it from a number of resellers including Amazon.
The first responder (sepiroth) may have misunderstood what you meant because you didn't really explain what you wanted.
Perhaps you could elaborate on what you want to do.

  • +PSE 11 raw does not support Canon SX50

    Hi,
Just got my new Canon SX50HS camera. Looks like PSE 11 raw does'nt support it. How long does it normaly take after a camera is available to the public for Adobe to include it in its list? Where do I have to ask Adobe about that situation ?
    Claude

Download and install the free Adobe DNG converter to convert your CR2 files to the Adobe universal Raw format and the files will open in all versions of PSE (keep your original CR2’s as backup) or for use in Canon DPP bundled with your camera.
Windows download click here DNG Converter 7.2
Mac download click here DNG Converter 7.2
You can convert a whole folder of CR2 images in one click. See this quick video tutorial:

  • Does Mac support 1080p video?

Does mac and imovie 11 support 1080p video?

"Got your "Ins and Outs of iMovie" eBook; did not finish reading.
Read Appendix B (720p) or C (1080p). Here is some additional information for you:
When you next launch iMovie, and create a new project, the Project Properties will show 25fps or 30fps.
However, when you drag the first 50p or 60p clip into the project, when you check Project Properties you will see the fps field is blank.
Do not click in this Properties field.
From this point onward, iMovie will work at 50fps or 60fps.
Animated effects created by iMovie will be, however, created at25fps or 30fps. Each frame will be repeated twice.
iMovie must now process twice the number of frames per second, so it may be more sluggish.

  • Does imovie support canon 24f?

I am wondering if imovie supports canon 24f?

Apple has a pretty up-to-date list here you can consult. Drag down the manufacturers to Canon and see which models they have listed:
    http://help.apple.com/imovie/cameras/en/index.html?lang=en_US
On the far right column there's some notes for each camera, mentions of 24p restrictions, so check to see if your camera is listed and any restrictions appearing the far right column.

  • Does Mac support the printer CANON MP 520 fully

Hi, i downloaded the drivers available for the canon printer. the printer work fine, its just that i cant get into the printer settings. therefore, i cant actually change specific attributes, for example i cant change the printer to print only black and white only using black ink, so my printer is always using all 4 colours.
does anyone know a solution to my issue? would greatly be appreciated as i hope i don't have to buy another printer.
    thanks in advance
    jimmy

yea i looked into that, thats normally where the settings for the printer would be. but when i click the little triangle it really only gives me a limited amount of customizable settings. like maybe 20% of everything i can do.
i know because on windows, once downloaded, it comes with an icon that says "my printer" and in there you can change a lot of things. i cant seem to get those printer settings on the mac.
i went to the canon drivers for mac and i think i shows the 'my printer' driver that can be installed but it doesn't have OSx listed as compatible. i find that strange because if everything else is compatible except that particular one, and thats the most important!
    any other ideas?

  • Adobe Camera Raw 5.3 does not support Canon EOS 500D

    Hi,
I just bought a new Canon EOS 500D and it seems that Adobe Raw 5.3 (i.e. LR2 and CS4) do not support the new (or better changed) Canon RAW format (CR2).
Does anyone know when this camera model / RAW format will be supported?
    Any ideas for workarounds?
    Best regards,
    paulmut

If the camera allows it, shoot raw+JPEG, that way, you can still use/work with the JPEG version, until the CR2 of the 500D will be supported.
You can also contact Canon and suggest them to take a competitive edge over Nikon by embracing the DNG format, that would have allowed support at release date, in many raw converters programs, like Pentax and others are doing.

  • Does CS3 support Canon 7D?

I upgraded my camera to Canon 7D, now CS3 and Lightroom 1 will not open 7D images. Camera Raw 4.3 won't support the 7D raw images. Must I upgrade Photoshop and Lightroom?

    oxfordm wrote:

No, it does not.  The Canon 7D was supported for the first time in ACR 5.6, which does not run with CS3.
    oxfordm wrote:
…Must I upgrade Photoshop and Lightroom?
Yes. Otherwise you have two options:
    • Download the free Adobe DNG Converter 6.4 and use that program to convert your Canon raw files to raw DNG files which you can then open in ACR 4.6 hosted by CS3; or
    • use the Canon software.

  • CS5 camera raw does not support Canon T2i/550D

What a disappointment to have downloaded and installed the trial version of PS CS5 only to find the ACR does not yet support the Canon T2i. Adobe, what are you waiting for?

Disappointment? I suppose if you have unreasonable (and ill informed) expectations...
The same thing happened with CS4...Camera Raw 6 for CS5 was done MONTHS ago–well before the most recent round of cameras were added to ACR 5.7 (the most recent version released a week or so ago). The exact same thing happened with CS4 and ACR 5 vs ACR 4.6 supporting more cameras until ACR 5.1 came out.
The update for ACR 6 (prolly 6.1) has already been discussed by John Nack...it'll be out in weeks vs months. In the mean time if you want to access cameras not supported bt ACR 6.0, download DNG Converter (it's free) and convert files to DNG that ACR 6.0 will open...

  • HT3669 Does OSX support Canon PIXMA printers?

Especially the MG 3500 series? Cannot get my MacBook to work wirelessly with a MG 3500 series PIXMA printer.
I'm running OSX 10.9.2. The printer was bought by a friend in Ukraine.
I CAN print using a USB cable, but I'd like to be able to do so wirelessly. However when I try to add a printer without the USB plugged in, the Canon does not show up.
    Advice / help welcome.

For Canon printers like the MG 3500 is not on Apple's list, you can try the Canon support site or search the web using the search term "Canon MG 3500 driver."
