Does macbook provide enough power for a WD Passport?

Exactly what the topic says. I'm thinking of buying a WD Passport external hd, specifically this one http://wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=262&language=en . But I want to know if others have any experience with this product. Does the macbook provide enough bus power for it? Thanks in advance.

You probably know that mobilme goes away in June this year. There are two ways to access your mail account on iCloud, either through Lion or via the web. Web access won't get you to all the benefits of iCloud but will allow you to get to Mail, Contacts, Calendar, and Find My iPhone. See this FAQ: http://www.apple.com/mobileme/transition.html
If you decide to go with Lion, the maximum memory you can install is 4GB, however the system will only use 3GB, which is enough to run Lion. I want to develop a program which in vc++ should produce a message digest using MD5 for a file and i want to check this file and hashcode generated for its equality . Does Java provide MD5 algo for it.
ie what i have to do
file + MD5 algo (Implemented in vc++) = Message Digest 1
Will Message Digest 1 == Message Digest Generated by Java MD5 algo + file

The only way to limit the size of the backup is to exclude data from the backup, which you can do in Time Machine preferences.
If you use multiple browsers, have you tried clearing your browser caches? However, that's just a stop gap if it works. You either need to limit what you backup or get another drive.

Will the PB G4 USB-ports provide sufficient power for external HDD ?

I am in the market for a 2,5in external HDD, preferably powered through the USB-ports of my PB G4. However, I have read that in many cases, Apple's laptops provide insufficient power for such devices. Is this a fact?

Dear Thosen, yep this can be a problem with the 12' models, I think that there are adaptors, that use both USB ports, one of power and one for data transfer. The other option is to try a firewire drive - this has the added advantage of being bootable.

If yes, BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform delivers historically its own basis SSO based on Kerberos (but only for applications running on BOBJ platform). I recommend to use it if it fits to your requirements. If not, you can configure "Trusted Authentication". In this case BOBJ trusts the authentication of the web applications server. Here you can use SAP Single Sign-On with SAML or certificates.

The AirPort Express will not support a hard drive....only a printer.
If you need to connect a hard drive, you need an AirPort Extreme, not an AirPort Express.

Does apple provide professional Installation for new hardware?

I want to know if i can bring my Imac 21.5 mid 2014 for new hard drive installation to an apple store. Is there a service for that? I know they have a repair service, does it provide for that as well? I do have applecare coverage, I'm not sure if that counts for anything other than if my imac gets damaged.

Enough power for FCP 5 and Adobe After Effects?

I have a 1.67GHz 17" PowerBook G4 with 2 GB RAM and ATI Radeon 9700. I am working with FCP 4.5 but plan on upgrading to FCP 5 and also beginning Adobe After Effects.
Question: Do I have enough power with my G4 to handle these newer apps?

I recently installed FCP 5, as a crossgrade from Soundtrack Pro, and have a similar configuration as you. In the video work I've done so far, editing has worked fine, no constraints from the system I'd point out. Rendering, using Compressor, or exporting an FCP project to Quicktime movie can take awhile, depending on the time length of the project, however, that's somewhat the nature of the process. Since those processes are CPU constrained, a MacPro, for example, would complete them much quicker.

These pre-configured solution r available in SAP in terms of BC set, more information you can get in the SAP Best practise (http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/600/BBlibrary_start.htm) wer for every business process you can install the building block which SAP has created.

I am planning to buy the new white macbook and Logic Studio. The macbook has 2Ghz processor and 2GB ram. Will that be enough to run Logic effectively or do I need more power? I could afford to upgrade to 4GB ram but can't afford a Mac book pro or the 2.4Ghz processor macbook. I will be using an Edirol UA-20 audio interface.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That should be more than enough, although it of course also depends on what you are going to do with Logic. If you are going to use big sampled instruments, it is a good idea to go for 4 GB RAM.
The processors are powerful enough, about 2.5 times Logics' minimum requirement.

They are not the same. You can use the AC adapter from a MBP on a MB but not the reverse. The adapter for a MB is not rated for as much power as the MBP requires.
