  • Does IBM eServer support Solaris (Intel Platform Edition) ???

    Hi Friends,
Does anyone know whether IBM eServer supports Solaris (Intel Platform Edition) or not ?
Anyone has succeeded to install it before ???
    Many Thanks.
    Best Regards,
    Denny Ho

I'm sure that Oracle8i server supports Solaris Intel Platform and Oracle9i doesn't support Solaris Intel Platform at this moment as I know.

  • Does Form6i/Report6i support Solaris x86?

There is only Form6i and Report6i for SunSparc and no Solaris version for x86.
Have anybody tried to install the Linux version of Form6i or Report6i in a machine running Solaris X86? And what is the key to install it successfully?

I'm sure that Oracle8i server supports Solaris Intel Platform and Oracle9i doesn't support Solaris Intel Platform at this moment as I know.

  • Does AS8 will support JDBC Realms?

    Hi there,
In the future, will AS8 support JDBC Realms? In Windows platform, other realms are difficult to implement, specially LDAP.
Do you know where I can get (maybe lucky if) a step by step guide to realms installation?
    Thank you very much,
    Blessings,
    Lorenzo Jimenez

    Dear bsankararao:
    Thanks for you concern.
Creating a new realm is to much for my knowledge.
Maybe in the next version, Sun will include it? Just to be sort of equal or better than Tomcat!
    Thanks,
    Lorenzo

  • SCCM 2012 R2 Secondary site server will support the DMZ Zone?

We are planning for SCCM 2012 Migration, currently we have separate Primary server in DMZ.
Kindly suggest what is the best method to deploy in the DMZ (separate primary or secondary or DP) because we have only 500 Client in DMZ.

    Hi,
There is a blog talking about this error. You could try the method in the blog.
To summarise, when installing SCCM 2012 SP1 secondary site on a pre-configured SQL 2012 instance regardless which SQL edition is being used, “NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM” account needs to be given
securityadmin and sysadmin rights. If SQL Express is used, there are few additional steps need to be carried out to configure the SQL TCP connection as documented in my previous blog:

  • Does weblogic 704 support solaris on x86?

This is urgent and thanks in advance!

Hello, Pratap. Yesterday the location at which the WebLogic Portal engineering team is located (Colorado, USA) was hit by the biggest blizzard of the winter and the entire metropolitan area shut down. Imagine a direct hit from a typhoon but with snow instead of rain. I was stranded iin traffic for 8 hours yesterday. That is probably why nobody from the product team has answered.
WebLogic Portal is the best framework out there for building a Web 2.0 portal. It is a lot harder (and more valuable, IMO) to build a product that is a framework as opposed to a packaged app. WLP blows everything else out of the water when it comes to enabling you to build anything you want. Nothing else comes close to its flexibility, maturity/stability, and scalability. WebLogic Portal is not an application. I'm sure that there are going to be plenty of widgets available OOTB now that WebLogic Portal is part of a much bigger picture with the Oracle WebCenter Suite, so that will probably help with some of the expectations that you have of a portal product, but I'll let someone else speak to that.

  • Multiple VNICs in Solaris 11 Zone

Is there a best way to create a vnic within a solaris 11 zone on top of the zone's interface. I was able to create a vnic from the ipmp interface but this
may not be a proper way.
Does multiple vnics within a zone need to be created outside the zone first? This is not using a vsw because it's not a private network.

There are a couple of options:
    1. If  'anet' resource type is specified in zonecfg(1M) for creating the VNIC,
add another anet for the zone. This will create a second VNIC when the zone is rebooted.
    2. If 'dladm set-linkprop -p zone=...  <vnic-link-name>' is used for assigning the
VNIC to the zone, create a second VNIC and assign it to the zone the same way.

  • Does lion server support a single email address across multiple devices??

I am looking to move from an outdated Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 to OS X Lion Server but I am unsure as to how Lion will handle email. I do not want to spend money on a new windows server if I can get a Mac Mini Server to do the job. I am a very small business with a number of email accounts for a couple employees and need access to email and calendar from both the office iMac's and my Macbook Pro when on the road. My IT guy says I need Exchange but he's been off base on a few other items recently and I wanted to check with other sources.
I have 2 new iMac's, a MacBook Pro, an iPad1 and and iPhone4 on the mac side of things and 2 windows computers running XP. I would get rid of the windows computers completely if not for my CAD program which runs best not in a virtual machine mode.
How well will email and calendar entries sync across devices?

I have a very similar setup at my office. Lion Server will push email, calandar, contacts to all of your apple product with out a hitch.
As far the Windows XP machines, you can access email over IMAP with Thunderbird, and calandars via sunbird or the built in web app.
I would ditch the exchange server move to Mac OS X Server, and never look back.
    God Luck!
PS. All of your devices will be in sync all the time.
    Shore answer:
Does lion server support a single email address across multiple devices??
    Yes.

  • Does LabVIEW 2009 support multiple monitors?

Does LabVIEW 2009 support the use of multiple monitors for development? Screen real estate use in LabVIEW is difficult. It would help if the developer could use more than one monitor.
In LabVIEW 2009 can you pin certain items to appear or pop up only on a specific monitor?
Can you have Front panels only show up on one monitor and Block Diagrams on another monitor?
    How is this done?

Not exactly like this, but LabVIEW VIs remember thier last location when saved and will come up at that positiont, unless that is entirely out of the current desktop in which case they will default back to the primary monitor.
Also VI server supports multiple monitors too by giving you back a list of monitor rectangles so you could do a little utility that runs in the background to do what you want. Most likely you will not like such a deamon that pulls your diagrams and panels around as you move them on your screen, but you can try it out.

  • When will updatemanager support system with zones

Anyone aware when SUN updatemanager will support patching sol 10 systems with multiple zones ?

Its my understanding that the first official release should support zones as well.
Note that it seems that you can use the update manager together with the regular tools, they only suggest that you shouldn't use them at the same time. In other words; in theory you should be able to use your current tools for supporting the zones, and the update manager to do the rest.
Personally I wouldn't take the risk and wait for the official release.

Does Red Hat Linux 4 OS will support in HP 3330 Using i5 Processor  , Kindly tell me that this PC will support this OS or not
    This question was solved.

    Hi,
Based on this, HP does not support, that won't stop you. You have to use other source to get all drivers for it.
    Good luck.

does apple iphone 5 earphone will support apple ipod shuffle 3 generation? my 3 gen ipod is not supporting.
please help me out to solve the issue.if any third party earphones support please let me know

If the headphones are the Apple EarPods, it does not work with the 3rd gen shuffle (the remote control buttons do not work).
As an alternative, you can get an adapter like this one (there are several similar products)
    http://www.amazon.com/iLuv-iEA15BLK-3rd-Party-Headphone-Compatible/dp/B002RL9WDQ
that has the remote control button, and connect ANY standard headphones.
