Minimum requirements means that you have to have these as the minimum configuration to install the Adobe Products . You can surely go ahead and install the product on a windows 8 PC and it should work fine.

I have the Adobe CS4 Master Suite running on my imac (27" Quad core i7 processor at 2.93GHz with 8GB ram) currently running very smoothly on 10.6.8. I'm thinking of upgrading to 10.8. My question is does the upgrade break or slow down anything in the Adobe CS4 Suite? I mainly use Illustrator, Acrobat and Photoshop for my work and occasionally run Indesign, Fireworks or Dreamweaver (all CS4)
Any help or comments would be appreciated before I buy and download the 10.8 update. If any of the programs I mentioned have issues, are they major or minor?

This Apple support article doesn't show that model as a supported printer.

The excell sheet is telling me it is being used by another user, which it is not. It asks me to notify the other user but keeps going back to it is being used by another user and a read only document. This just started happening since I upgraded to mountain lion

Yes. I have a first generation Time Capsule and it works fine.
Just make sure you buy at least 3 times the GB you are trying to backup. More is better.

No it does not work with NT. the Ipod Tunes software supplied along with the ipod is only compatible with Windows XP. But is does work with Windows 2000

Mountain Lion Server with Windows 8.1 Client communication problems

We have a Mountain Lions Server and several diffent Clients that need access to it.
Macs work fine Linux clients work fine
Windows 8.1 only "sees" the router but not the Server or the Printer
the "Windows proofs" tell me its a Problem with the server
has anyone an Idea what I can do?
And pls don't tell me I should change all Windows clients to Mac. If I had so much money I would, but at the moment the existing systems need to stay.

As far as your issue goes, you need to provide more details before anyone could begin to guess, as we're not mind readers here.
What do you mean by "Windows only sees the router, not the server"? What does "sees" mean in this context?
Who / what is Windows proofs?
How are you trying to access the server? SMB file sharing? If so, how are you trying to connect? What happens when you try? Do the users trying to authenticate to the server have an account on it and access to the necessary services?

Is mountain lion working with Final Draft?

Hi, deos anyone know if Mountain Lion is working with 'Final Draft 8'. Read a horror story about it killing scripts. Really would like to upgrade but don'e want to lose my work!! Have they issued a patch or a fix? Anyone?
