When will OJ150 all in one support android

The printer itself does not care which operating system is being used, it has more to do with the operating system supporting the bluetooth printing protocol. At this time android does not support this, but there are third party apps available that will do it. These apps are not made by HP, and since they are not a part of android they may not give you the full capabilities you are looking for. A few of them are free however, or have a free trial to print a test page to prove they work before purchasing.

  • Does the 8500 wireless all-ion-one support AirPrint

I bought the 8500 in late November 2010. I am getting an IPhone and want to know if I can use AirPrint with the 8500?

Sorry...I should have used the full description. The full ID for the printer is
    Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-in-One Printer - A909g
I would take it, then, that it does support AirPrint.

  • Does this all in one store any info and if so how do I delete it. I'm giving it away.

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus all in one. I'm giving it away and wanted to know does it store any info and if so can I delete it? I already deleted my fax recored. It's mostly been used for scanning to my laptop and printing.

The fax setup and fax logs would be the only personal information that would remain in the printer after the power is removed.  Make sure you do not have any camera card left in the slots in the lower left front of the printer.

  • Does the P6N SLI-FI support this ram?

OCZ2P8002GK is the model ram that i have. I really like th board but need to know if it will support my ram.
    Thanks
    DLM

    Welcome dlmx,
I do not have OCZ RAM, however MSI says this board-
"Supports dual channel DDR2 533/667/800, using four 240-pin/1.8V DDR2 DIMMs."
1.8v being the critical factor, though it seems from this and other forums that OCZ
has had a run of bad karma.
Anyway the most extensive reference is probably the test report(s) on this board and ram,
    located here:
The manual contains the QVL. It is a short one page, no OCZ. For that matter, I do not recall seeing OCZ in the test report either, though I could be wrong. The list may have been updated as well. Download it and check. The manual is also freely available for download.
So far I'm liking my board, but you can see I'm using Patriot PC-6400LLK (saw a review on this board that used it, kinda like a word-o-mouth recommendation).

  • PC will no longer boot with more than one stick of ram.

    Hello.
My wife and I both own HPE 371f. We've had them about 8 months and neither one of us has had a single problem with it.
Yesterday though, I got a BSOD. I try to reboot, it goes in to recovery mode and freezes. I try to reboot again, same thing. It freezes up as the windows logo is on the screen. I start scouring the web to find out what could be the problem. All the fans are running, mobo looks to be okay, HDD is fine. I finally see the suggestion to update the BIOS. I can't even update now because I'm getting a blank screen. I turn the PC on and it just looks like nothing is getting to the monitor.
So I try a CMOS reset. I'm able to get the PC to the boot menu at least, but now it freezes up in the boot menu.
At my wits end, I finally see a something about RAM timing being off or something (I'm not very experienced with this) and they suggest taking out all but one stick of ram. I do this, and lo and behold I boot up fine. Every configuration of more than one stick of ram I try does not work. Any more than 2 gigs... and all I get is a black screen.
It's not a major deal being down to 2 from 8, but I would like to use the RAM is possible. Is this a hardware issue or something I can fix through software?
Some notes: No major changes over the last few days. I installed Skyrim, but I wasn't playing when I got the initial BSOD. I've had 4 sticks of 2 gigs since I bought the PC and I've never had an issued till now. All the sticks are identical. My wife's PC (same model) is working just fine.
Thanks in advance for any help or ideas!

    Hi,
I've been searching the internet and people are talking about updating BIOS to play Skyrim. It's worth a try. Please go to this site to (a) Select your machine (b) Pick the right Operating system. Download BIOS and apply to your machine. Hope this helps, otherwise please contact HP for help (is machine still under warranty ?).

  • Will Wireless Printing Upgrade Kit support All-in-one Printer F4235?

I have not found this information in the forum, I hope someone will be able to help me.
I purchased a Wireless Printing Upgrade Kit and I'm not sure if it is compatible with my printer. I have an all-in-one F4235. The list on the box does not list this model but it says also works with most other HP printers and all-in-ones. I have checked the website and it lists the same printer so I don't know if the list just has not be updated.
I don't want to open the package until I know if it is compatible.

Yes, the HP Deskjet F4235 (F4200 series) All-in-one supports the Wireless Upgrade kit.

  • Request for BIOS that supports 1600MHz RAM

Hello, I confirm, that with old bios version my L520 supports 1600MHz frequency of RAM.
Why is the frequency downdraded in new bioses?
Can we, users of ThinkPads, request new bios version that has all the fixes and still supports 1600MHz ? Becouse since bios downgrade sometimes when my notebook goes to standby it ends up with blue screen.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

I think there is a misunderstanding here. With intel core cpus, the memory controller is within the cpu itself and not in the chipset. So it's really a question of having a cpu that supports 1600Mhz ram rather than a bios which can support the memory. Since there are no L520s officially carrying i7 cpus (the only ones supporting 1600Mhz ram, and only some of them), installing 1600 Mhz ram is tottaly useless. Older bioses may report 1600Mhz for the ram but do not really take advantage of the higher frequency, since it is the cpu that can or cannot control it. Sandy Bridge i3 and i5 cpus can only use 1333Mhz memory so the laptop will in all cases downclock automatically the ram to 1333Mhz,    using maybe lower latencies as well (which could be the only small advantage of using higher frequency ram).
You can try to upgrade your L520 with an i7, but it will void the warranty. Also the 4core i7s which can use faster memory need more current to run and warm up more, so you will have to be very careful (use a 90W power supply, check for temps often). The cpu itself is not cheap either at around $250 used, so if you really need something faster, maybe you should go for another laptop alltogether.
I hope this helps and clarifies the situation.

  • How to add more ram to video card

Hello, to play a game I  need to have 1 GB of ram dedicated. I looked all over to find where I can allocate more ram, but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know how to allocate more ram to a video card? Is it possible?

You have shared RAM you don't have dedicated Video RAM that is shared with your regular Computer RAM.

  • Running Windows XP on my Mac. Would more RAM help?

Unfortunately I need to run XP on my Mac and Im using a parallel, VMware fusion.
However most of the time my Mac crashes or, if doesn't crash, it works VERY slow.
I was thinking to buy more RAM (I have 2GB), would that help?
    Thanks
    B

It depends mostly upon how much RAM you have allocated to your VM and the amount of RAM the VM software requires. Only one VM application should be used, either Parallels or VM Fusion. Trying to use both will require too much RAM for what you have installed in your computer. It's also critical that you have the most recent version of OS X required by the version of Parallels or VM Fusion that you have installed.
The VM software can require over 1 GB of RAM when running the installed VM assuming you have allocated the minimal RAM needed for the version of Windows you are using. So a system with 2 GBs of RAM is obviously stretching the RAM resource pretty thin. If your particular Mac supports more RAM, then it would be a good idea to install more.
If your MacBook is a Core Duo model, then 2 GBs is the maximum you can install. If you have a Core2Duo model then 3 GBs would be the maximum based on the information you have provided regarding the version of OS X that's installed. Open System Profiler in your Utilities folder and look at the machine ID listed. If it's 1,1 then you have a Core Duo. If it's 2,1 then it's a Core2Duo.

  • Aging g4 just keeps going but is more ram worthwhile?

I have a g4 that was purchased in 2000. I have never had a problem with it and probably haven't turned it off 50 times since I bought it. My question is that I can't afford a new computer but is it worth putting more RAM in it now in view of it's age? I run heavy apps on it (i.e., adobe and open-source). Currently I have 756 total RAM. My understanding is that with OS X I can go as high as 2GB so is it worth it? I know I have been extremely lucky with how this computer has performed.
The only other option I might consider is a Mac Mini with 4GB of RAM but everything I've read says that this is not a "production" machine. I am a graphic/web designer so performance is important (yeah, I know, so why am I using a dinosaur?).

    Hi, helloiamamac -
There's no factual way to answer that question, only opinion.
When using OS 9, since you already have more than 512MB of RAM, adding more will not help much, as long as you are not running out of RAM under your current usage patterns. If you had less than 512MB, you could see (subjectively) an improvement in OS 9 by adding more. OS 9 can address a max of 1.5GB of RAM.
If you are using OSX, then adding more can help, specifically by reducing or eliminating the need for the OS to use swap space on the disk (a form of virtual memory). No data is read faster than data in RAM. Although fast processors (which you do not have) can manage swapping data from disks much better, it's still not as fast as reading from RAM. OSX can address a max (on your machine) of 2.0GB of RAM.
That machine, a G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) model, has four RAM slots (it was the last machine prior to the G4 MDDs which has more than three slots); each slot is rated for a max RAM module size of 512MB. Four of those give the machine's max total of 2.0GB.
You stated your machine has "756 total RAM" - might that be 768MB instead? 768MB is usually the result of one 512MB module and one 128MB module, although it could also be three 256MB modules (or some other combo of modules). In order to get 2.0GB of RAM in it, the minimum number of 512MB modules you would need is three; the max is four. You would need to balance the cost of those vs. the cost of a newer machine, one with more RAM than you have now.
By "newer" machine I am suggesting that instead of a brand new machine, you look at ones older than new, but newer than yours. Some of the G4 MDDs are going for good (i.e., low) prices, perhaps even lower than the cost of adding RAM to your machine. G5s are another possibility, provided you do not need to boot to OS 9.

  • Is 2gig to 3gig  of ram noticable? + do extra displays require more ram?

    hey guys
first question.... i have two gigs of ram in my mac right now.. i use photoshop and handel large raw files, would i notice any differnce if i were to upgrade to .. say 4 gig? or even 3?
second question... i have my 23" display and then i have another 19". would the computer run fast/more securely/smoother without it? in other words, does an evter display take up more ram?
    thanks alott

You probably want 8GB of RAM as a start.
A fast boot drive, another fast scratch drive, and data drive, just to get started.

  • Why does closing all open windows (15) and leaving only one drop ram usage from 1.5 to 1.4Gb and not more.

Why does closing all open windows (15) and leaving only one drop ram usage by only 100mb from 1.5 to 1.4Gb.
What is in this 1.4 gb ?
I don't care much about ram, It's just that cpu usage spike like crazy by the end.
