There are other ways to print with your mobile device. You can find the HP Home & Biz app in the Apple App Store. Here is a link: HP ePrint Home & Biz This can be found directly through your Apple device using the App Store app. If you need any help using the app check out this link: Printing with HP ePrint Home & Biz
Hope this helps!!

  • Does the Airport support Airprint

    Does the Airport support Airprint?
I have severa IOS Devices and wuld like to use an existing Printer (HP USB) from these devices.
Would it be possible to access this Printer via Airprint if i Buy an Airport Extreme and connect the Printer to the USB Port?

Sorry, but just connecting a non-AirPrint printer to the USB port of an AirPort base station will not make it AirPrint capable. Yes there are a number of Apps available to print from iOS devices.

  • Does Epsom sx435x support AirPrint?

Does an Epson sx435w support AirPrint?

That printer does not support AirPrint, as shown here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
About the best you could do with that printer is download the (free) Epson iPrint app from the App Store.  That is nowhere near as capable as AirPrint, but better than nothing.

  • Does HP C7250 support AirPrint?

I have an iPad and have updated software and purchased Print app.  When I try to print from iPad, it cannot find a printer. I have an HP C7250 printer.  Does it support AirPrint and if not, is there anything I can do, short of buying a new printer?

No and No.  The printer must be an e-printer and this printer (nor any printer) can be converted.
Here is a list of the printers supported: http://www.hp.com/sbso/printing/mac/apple-airprint.pdf

  • Does my Canon MG6100 series AIO printer support AirPrint?

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Hi Bob!
Canon has not currently announced any plans to support previous models, like the PIXMA MG6100 series, with the AirPrint technology.  I realize that this is an inconvenience so what I will do is pass along your e-mail to my superiors as a suggestion that the firmware be updated to allow for AirPrint.  I sincerely hope, for you and the other customers who have this model, that this feature is added soon.
There is some good news though.  The PIXMA MG6100 series is compatible with Canon Easy-PhotoPrint app which can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple Store.  This application will allow you to print an image stored on your iOS device, print PDF files stored on your iOS device, take a photo and print instantly, scan a document or photo, and print a scanned document.  More information on performing these functions can be found by visiting the following direct link:
    http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/iepp_useit
As far as printing from other applications, this will not work on your iOS device since the printer is not AirPrint compatible.  You may be eligible for service options since this is not compatible.  I would suggest contacting us using the following link to find out your options.  Contact Us.

  • Does hp 7520 support AirPrint?

Just bought the 7520 thinking it was capable of AirPrint , not HP ePrint. I am able to print wirelessly from my laptop, but when I go to print from my iPad, the iPad cannot find any AirPrint computers. Did I buy the wrong printer? Or do I need to change a setting some where?
    Thx

    Hi,
According to the printer specs for the 7520e, it is both AirPrint and e-print enabled. In order for AirPrint to work, you'll need to ensure that both your printer and apple device is connected to the same wifi network.
I've included some setup instructions here that should help.

Before I upgrade to Windows 8 I'd like to know if my HP Photosmart series 5510d supports this new operating system or would I have to upgrade its drivers

    Hi,
The printer compatible with Windows 8 indeed.
Prior upgrading the OS be sure t remove the HP Software by going to Start > All PRograms > HP > HP Photosmart 5510 folder and select Uninstall.
As well go to Programs & Features and remove otehr items of the printer, any item should start with HP.
After upgrading the OS download and install the Windows 8 software below:

  • I want to buy an hp m1536 laserjet for my ipad printing, I believe the printer is not wireless but has sprint. Is the print job going through my wireless router and does that router need to support AirPrint.

I want to buy an hp m1536 laserjet for my ipad printing, I believe the printer is not wireless but has sprint. Is the print job going through my wireless router and does that router need to support AirPrint.

The following model is airprint compatible, is this the one you have?
    HP LaserJet Pro M1536dnf MFP
If not the "dnf MFP" model, then no.
The router needs to support the Bonjour protocol.  If not, the airprint won't work.

  • Does an app that supports printing thereby automatically support "AirPrint"?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't find a better spot...
1 - Does an app that supports printing by definition support Apple AirPrint?
2 - Is there any way to search the app store by apps that support AirPrint? (make that a search parameter)?
Thanks so much in advance for your help. Sorry again if this is in the wrong spot.

"You say that no apps support airprint, but Apple says that an app can be airprint enabled."
No.  A PRINTER can be airprint enabled.  You DO NOT need an app tp be airprint enabed as the iphone already has airprint.
But you are wrong. From Apple's site "AirPrint-enabled applications can print to a printer that supports AirPrint"
If you still don't see it: "AirPrint-enabled applications"
See it there? Applications can be airprint enabled. Please stop posting erroneous information here, as you are only confusing the situation.

EDIT: Let me give an example:
I am in a news app, when I am in an article, there is a "Print" button. Does this mean that it supports AirPrint?
(I'm not talking about alternative print solution apps, I'm talking about the average app that might allow you to print content.)

Same thing for iPhone 5S iOS 8.2.
Both iPhone and printer on the same wifi network.
I tried printing from different applications. AirPrint does not work.
I tried turning off and back on, reset, printing from different applications, ...
iPhone 6 prints through HP Wireless Direct printing.
    Sony laptop works via wifi.
