Does my warranty cover my charger to be fixed

does my warranty cover my charger to be fixed

Yes, as long as it's not damage that you caused. If it just stopped working or it's frayed, they'll replace it.

  • Hello, my MacBook just fell on the floor and there is a massive smash on the rear aluminum part. Is it fixable? Does the warranty cover this type of damage? If not, how much would it cost me to get it fixed?

Hello, my MacBook just fell on the floor and there is a massive smash on the rear aluminum part. Is it fixable? Does the warranty cover this type of damage? If not, how much would it cost me to get it fixed?
PS: I bought it on the USA, but currently living in Brazil . I guess though there is a apple store in the shopping mall.

Accidental damage is not covered by warranty. As to cost to fix, we can not say as we do not know what internal/external components were damaged. Take the computer to an authorized repair center for assessment and estimate to repair.

  • What does the warranty cover exactly?

Well my itouch just randomly goes dark.... So dark I cant see it. One minute its on then bam it shuts off. Also, the headphones are not as loud. Does my warranty cover this? If so, do I have to travel to an apple retail store or can I lpmail my itouch to them? I have an ipod touch 4g 8 gb.

    You can check the warranty:
    Hardware Warranties
Basically, it covers defects in manufacture. It does not cover accidental damage like caused by dropping it.
You can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store are send it to them, For details see:

  • Does the warranty cover cracked screens?

Does the warranty cover cracked screens? I dropped it by accident?

SantannaF, just what are you saying?
    - The warranty that covmes with the iPod does not cover a broken screen.
    - When this post was written, there wan an extented warranty, AppleCare that yo could purchase the increased the waranry period from one year to two years. It still did not cover accidental damage like a broken screen.
    - Now, Apple offers for a price, AppleCare+. That covers replacment for a broken screen for a fee of $29
extends your coverage to two years from the original purchase date of your iPod and adds up to two incidents of accidental damage coverage, each subject to a $29 service fee plus applicable tax.1

  • HT1349 Does the warranty cover external damage?

I've had my Iphone for less than a week and I have just dropped it and the screen has smashed.
    Does the warranty cover it?

If you purchased AppleCare+ coverage when you purchased your iPhone, your accidental damage would be covered for the cost of the "deductable" ($49 in the US). If you did not purchase AppleCare+, then as Kappy said you will have to pay for replacement.
    Regards.

  • Does the warranty cover loss/stolen ipod touch?

we think my son's ipod that he just got for Christmas was stolen/lost yesterday, does the warranty cover this?  Is there a way to track it or see if someone's using it?  He is devastated.

    Not covered by warranty.
    - If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
    - You can also wipe/erase the iPod and have to iPod play a sound via iCloud.
    - Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
    - There is no way to prevent someone from restoring the iPod (it erases it) using it.

Does my warranty cover screen breaks?

    No.
Almost all warranties for almost all products cover manufacturer defect, NOT damage.

  • I have a crack in my rear-facing camera does the warranty cover this repair? It's about 5 months old.

I have a crack in my rear-facing camera does the warranty cover this repair? It's about 5 months old.

If it was caused by a defect thenyes.  If caused by accidental damage like dropping then likely not. Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store and find out.
If it is only a cosment defect, the warranty does not cover it.

  • Does Ipod Warranty cover water damage?

I got it about a month ago and I I forgot to take it out of my pocket and it went through the washer. Will the warranty cover that? I was also reading something about a single incident coverage within 90 days...what does that mean?

I have an extended warranty that I am looking at now for my glasses which I purchased a sears optical. It states for any reason or fault, manufacture or user abuse they will be replaced at no questions asked.
I am also looking at my extended warranty that I purchased for my computer at computers plus in my home time that states damage of anytype will be covered. user abuse to even lightning damage.
My cross pen that says for anyreason it will be repaired or replaced no questions asked.
My video camera with extended warranty. Also states for any reason. I was quoted by the owner of the camera store that this meant even if I ran over it with my car, he said yes. Two months later I dropped it into the water of a pool and it was replaced on the spot.
My craftsman tools. I broke my screwdriver while using it as a prybar. Told the clerk and he said no problem they have a lifetime warranty.
bet there are many others out there.
Anybody else have any or heard of any???
I am sure that there are many others.
