Does nano come with a CD for installation?

I have tried everything, but my computer will not read the ipod. I read an article about reinstalling the CD on windows that came with ipod, but mine did not come with a CD. Is the nano supposed to have a CD? Please help, as I am so very frustrated.

Do you have a friend or family member with broadband? I thought once you download the installation setup file, you don't need to redownload it if it doesn't work, I doubt that would help. You can save the iTunes setup file onto your computer, you know.
I'm on dialup too but I just went to a friends house to download iTunes and it installed okay on both computers.

The newest nano is the 7th generation. It does not have a camera. The 8th generation is the next one, for Apple to release whenever they want. We do not know when or what it will have.

Yes it comes with a syncing cable that you can connect to your PC's USB ports to charge or you can connect it to an Apple wall adapater (sold seperately).

My new ipod 2gb nano comes with a usb cable and a little clip or stand type thing that the nano can sit in and at the bottom has a hole that the usb wire sort of fits through but it isn't made to sit on the desk, its more like a clip of something, any ideas what this is or how to use it?

The extra piece is the adapter for the Universal Dock. The dock has a well in it and there's an adapter for each size of iPod that goes into it.

How can this product not come with an armband for runners? That's inexcusable! Your target market for a small flash player is mainly the exercising crowd and you blow it by not including a way to use it while exercising. The neckstrap is a waste. I don't want that thing banging around while I'm putting in 5 miles. For the love of St. Pete, use your brains creative labs!

Then why include it with the ZNano Plus? A Cloud subscription provides for installing working installations on two machines. You can have mixed operating systems (both Windows and Apple's OX).

No; but then, I've not had occasion to use TDM. I've been using firerwire drives for over 10 years, both FW400 and FW800, with no issues except a bit of instability using a B&W G3 machine.
TDM should be safe. Using cautious, manual copying of files from the Target machine to the Host machine should not result in unexpected loss of files or damage to the Target drive's directories. It should behave exactly the same as if it were an external (to the Host) firewire drive.

I have Windows 7 and it's a 32bit and 64bit Gaming Laptop G73SW.
I've done all the troubleshoot tips, which has just made my computer worse.eg all icons changed, things now missing, so probably have to do a System Retore to get it all back.
Every time i speak to Apple, they're suggestions just make my computer stuffed, iTunes takes over all my programs etc.
Simply put: Does iTunes come with a 32bit and 64bit Install??? If not i won't be using that program.
Which makes it hard for my line of work atm as an Alpha and Beta Games Tester for many Private Platforms i play on.

That message is just a standard one issued, mainly for Windows users, you can disregard it if you didn't install any anti-virus. (OS X has one installed by Apple that doesn't interfere)
It's just some forms of anti-malware are really paranoid and lock the entire machine down. (like Norton)
