Does Apple have plans to introduce AirPort Utility 5.6 support for Lion?  I ask as I have an older Airport Express that I would like to use for WDS and in using the AirPort Utility on my 10.7.4 Lion machine.  If AirPort Utility 5.6 is not supported on Lion, is it supported on Mountain Lion?
    Thank you.

  • My wife is very color deficient and has a hard time with the font colors in call log. Any way to change and does Apple have plans to correct?

My wife is color deficient and has a hard time with the font colors in the phone log and messaging. Is there any way to change color or background and does Apple have plans to correct this?

There are some minor settings in Accessibility that you can look at, however it really isn't much for color changing. As far as what Apple might have in mind, we are not Apple here, we are users like you. It is against the terms of service to speculate what Apple might have in mind. • Does Apple have plan about Thai Language support on "iPod" device? (especially iPod Classic)

    Hello Guys,
My name is Dithapong from Thailand, and I'm one of the big fans of Apple products.
I love music, so the "iPod Classic" is the latest device I've bought. The sound is great, more than other iDevice
Only one problem for me, the iPod classic does not support Thai language,
so it's hard for me to play or search Thai song (it show 'blank' in iPod) which is my native language ><
So, I wanna know that, does Apple have plan to release new firmware which have Thai Language support on iPod device?
I and many iPod lovers in Thailand will be very much happy you (Apple) do.
Could you please give my an answer? whether it is Yes or No (with the reason)
    Thank you very much
    Dithapong

Nobody in these forums can tell you anything about Apple's plans, but you can ask them for the feature you want via

  • Does Verizon have plans to expand coverage into Mouth of Wilson, VA area soon?

Does Verizon have plans to expand coverage into Mouth of Wilson area soon. A competitor did US Cellular. Would like verizon to do so also.

Ok, it took you two days to come up with that response. Just the fact that
I have to contact "Prepaid Customer No-service" as apposed to customer
service contacting me (you know who I am) reiterates the point. Why are
there two different customer services? 'Why does it matter which type of
plan that I have as to who I can speak to?
I work in a customer service business. If I treated my customer half as bad
as you do, I wouldn't have a job. My customers have certain expectations of
what I can and can't do. First and for most "NO" is not an option. You
never tell a customer that, period.
The truly sad thing is that Verizon has a great product. But they aren't
willing to stand behind it. I went to Verizon because you have the best
coverage. However, every interaction I have since the initial sale has been
horrible. I will give your people a week to contact me directly. After that
I will have a new phone from a new carrier.

  • Does Adobe have plans to improve TTS editor?

Does Adobe have plans to improve the TTS (Text-To-Speech) editor?
The Speech-Over SAPI editor, described in this blog post http://elearningtech.blogspot.com/2010/10/using-punctuation-and-mark-up-language.html sounds wonderful. Even just having the <em> tag would make a huge difference in my work.
Any hope for something similar in Captivate?

I'm also very interested in getting some information on what, how and when Adobo will improve TTS in CP5/CP6!

  • N97 Mini - Does nokia have any plans to update??? ...

I have a very simple question.
does nokia still support this phone?
I have always been an avid nokia supporter, but, recently, i have started to question my loyalty.
I, like many thousands of other n97 mini users paid a lot of money for the phone, yet, we seem to be left high and dry... there has been no improvements added for the phone since the last firmware update, no additions.. nada.
are we all expected to keep this phone with the lousy 12.*.* software and get nothing but a slow, almost useless phone?  or are we going to get some kind of update?
or has it gotten to that time when we all say Hi Android?????

If I remember correctly, the last update was supposed to be an "interim" update until the next version/release came out. For what it's worth, since nothing has been forthcoming from Nokia, I've installed N-Desk which installs a much improved desktop application, similar to the I-phone's, and Maze Lock which provides an easier to use locking application. With both of these installed, you have a more consistent, easier to use interface. Enough so my wife has stopped complaining about how long it takes to get something done on the phone.
I still hope Nokia will come out with another release in the near future.
    I hope this helps.

  • Does creative have plans to update Nomad Explor

i think its a great simple piece of software.. except for one thing. its hard to transfer music from your play to the PC. you have to highlite every song in the album then drag and drop them onto your PC, in a folder you have to make yourself. and when you have to do artists then album folders for 40GB's worth of music it takes way to long.
I was wondering if they were planning some kind of new version or update? for those who have used it know that when you click on the data folder it has actualy visable folders and sub folders that you can move around as you would normaly in windows. if you had that feature for the music library then that program would be amazing. being able to highlight all the artists and just drag and drop the music onto your HDD, or wherever. or move it around. preferable in a Artist folder. then album folders within that folder setup.
I know this will never see the light of day, and almost totaly sure this will never happen. but i think Nomad Explorer has great potential. The other programs are weak at best. i used to love PlayCenter. but not it wont install without crashing during album transfers. But hey, if i don't say it, it can't happen. so i might aswell try.
    Thanks.
Does anybody have anything to say to this? Disagree? Agree? etc?

MrZop wrote:I might look into it. Is it really worth it's I'll go find there website now and take a peek.
There's a free but limited feature trial that should give you some idea. It's like Nomad Explorer with bells on, although it predates Nomad Explorer. There's other software as well, have a look here in the Zen FAQ at Nomadness.net.
EDIT: I just saw this on the notmad website. whats the difference? I wasnt aware creative made two versions of the Xtra. or is this just a type on notmads site? " # Creative Nomad Jukebox Zen Xtra (all capacities) # Creative Zen Xtra (all capacities) "
Strange. There is only the one version, probably just different names in different regions. I believe Europe don't use the Nomad prefix due to some other product clash.

  • I will be buying an Ipod nano touch. I want it because I will use it with Nike Plus. Does Att have plans for the Ipod nano touch? If so, give me the link. Or tell me what to do.

    Please be specific.

The Nano does have 3G or 4G capabilities nor does it have any Wi-Fi hardware and capability, so no need to worry about setting up a plan/service with AT&T.

  • Does Adobe have plan to support outgoing HTTPS reuqests

    Hi,
It looks like on AMS it's not possible to make an HTTPS request at all. I tried with XML class and LoadVars class. It looks like AMS is not even trying to make any connection when the URL has HTTPS:// on it. The online references I was able to find indicate that it's not supported in AMS. If I am not wrong, Does Adobe have any plan to support this in future?
    Thanks

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
An authoritative answer to your question requires access to and revelation of "insider" as well as "forward looking" information...both of which are forbidden on this site. Rather, all that can be said is individual opinion and theory. But, based on how things have migrated with BB10, my opinion is that the answer is no.
Note, please, that there is a vast difference in pricing in different regions of the world. For example, in my country, a BIS plan costs significantly more than the non-BIS plans, making BB10 devices much more affordable (from the monthly cost perspective) than legacy devices that required BIS.
    Good luck!

  • Nokia 5800: Does Nokia have forgotten us? 5800 Use...

When do we get updates like all other phones?
the phone is full of bugs! stuck  alot
    please fix it
    release a new firmware
    sorry for bad english

Which version of firmware are you on?
If you are experiencing a lot of hangs, try switching off transitions in Themes, it makes the phone way fast, also you can buy a task manager such as Handy Taskman(http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/software/item/Handy_Taskman_for_S60.php), it helps monitor which applications are running in the background and helps the phone to run faster. My friend has a 5800 and i own a N97 and both the phones work a lot faster with display transitions off.
If all else fails, try resetting the phone by using the code *#7370#, before resetting remeber to backup all your important data such as contacts, messages etc that are in the phone memory, data items in the memory card are not erased upon reset by the above code.
About your query for software updates, nokia continues to support its phones for about 2 years after release, lets hope the upcoming firmware update meets all expectations.
    Try it, it works.
Please KUDOS if you liked my reply.

  • RV042 Firmware Version 1 does not have VLan setting enable.

    Hi
I am using the RV042 whereby I had seen the firmware PDF whereby ver 3. and ver 4 firmware comes with Vlan options.
But for RV042 version 1, I do not see the Vlan under the system management sections.
Is there any way to go around it :P

If you have an older version, you can upgrade the firmware to the highest for that hardware.  I would expect that vlan was in the highest v1 firmware for the rv042 as it was for the rv016 v1.

  • Do you have plans to enable Wi Fi transfer?

It'd be great if Adobe Reader could allow users to transfer files through wifi. Like if you have a device and a PC over on the same wi-fi, you can just open an ip address in a web-browser and you can upload files from your PC to transfer to your device. I hope this is in the works. More power to you guys!
I understand that there's Acrobat.com, but it takes some time. You need to upload to Acrobat.com and then download again with your device. In my opinion, wi fi transfer is faster and more hassle-free compared to any type of cloud service. Surely, both have varying advantages and disadvantages but when it comes to transferring files, wi-fi transfer is better for me. Just saying. Thanks!

Thanks for your feedback. The quickest way to transfer documents from your desktop to the device is through iTunes. Please refer to the Handbook under Help in the latest update of the app.
The steps are listed under Desktop iTunes.
    Thanks
