Does not honor sold price
I was sold a package price of $97.95 for 105mb/sec Internet, 140 channels including HBO and Streampix, a DVR and a second box. Now Comcast will not honor that price and claims they do not have that in their records. Yet there is proof in a recording that they DID offer me that price. And I was told even if they find the recording they will not honor the price. Even though there is PROOF that they would honor the sold package price. Yet they will only give me 75mb/sec AT SAME PRICE!!! Unbelievable!!! I honestly cannot believe a company gets away with this!!! And to top it all off, my internet is still not up to speed properly as its only maybe 15mb/sec. Comcast is SO BAD!!! They should be ashamed of what they do. But all I got was "we are sorry". That doesn't fix it!!! I am looking into legal council and the attorney general and the federal trade commission. I am sick of these fraudulent practices by a composing like this that feels that they can do anything they want because of their size. Someone needs to knock them down a few pegs and make it hurt! This isn't over!!!

Pages '08 Export does not honor the "Hide extension" checkbox
I have noticed that Pages '08, even with the latest update (3.0.3), does not honor the state of the "Hide extension" checkbox in the Export save dialog (or "sheet" that slides out from the title bar). Specifically, I have seen this happen when exporting to Word. When un-checking the "Hide extension" checkbox, the filename is displayed in the dialog with the .doc extension, but the file appears in the save folder (anywhere in the file system) without the .doc extension until I do a Get Info on the file and un-check Hide Extension in the Name & Extension section.
This is really annoying because I hate automatic hiding of file extensions in general, and I find it unacceptable with any kind of MS Office docs because my Windows-using colleagues can't seem to cope without a file extension they recognize.
Also note that this does not seem to affect the Save or Save As dialogs in Pages '08, only the Export save dialog. I can create a regular Pages document, do a Save As, uncheck Hide Extension, and I'll see the document show up in the file system with the .pages extension.
Is this a known bug in Pages '08? I can't find any mention of it in the forums. I also want to know if this is fixed in Pages '09. I've been looking for a way to report this as a bug, but am not having much luck.LionMage wrote:

Global ATP does not honor supply from some orgs
ATP based on planning data.
Planning completes OK and shows enough supply (in planning workbench).
ATP plan based on Bill of Distribution defined like this:
Source for ORG1 is ORG2 ->
Source for ORG2 is ORG3 ->
Source for ORG3 is Supplier
When inquiring ATP in ORG1 it considers supply only from ORG2,
nor ORG3/Supplier.
Despite the plan contains supply from all orgs.
Any solution ?I think you need to set up a direct relationship between ORG1, ORG3 and the supplier. ORG3 and supplier would be lower ranked options.
For Example-
ORG1 from ORG2 rank 1 100%
ORG1 from ORG3 rank 2 100%
ORG1 from Supplier rank 3 100%
The results will also depend on whether the plan is constrained and/or optimized. -
Schema Validator does not honor "nullable" attribute
Oracle XML Schema validator v1.0 does not seem to honor "nullable" schema attribute as in:

CK11n Costing Run does not pull purchasing price from info record.

I have material which is a semi finished product (Material type: SEMI) and is purchased from a fixed vendor (specified in the source list).
The costing run does not pick up the purchasing price from the purchasing info record but
instead incorrectly picks up the standard price from the material master (Costing 2 view).
Can you please help me solve this issue?

In Material Valuation Tab Set Price from Purchase Inforecord as Priority 1 if you want to use Price from Purchase Inforecord for semi-finished product during CK11N
You can list down Priority 2 to 5 depending on your requirement

Illustrator CS6 does not honor Full Keyboard Access setting
Why does Illustrator CS6 not honor the Mac system setting for Full Keyboard Access? Under System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts, I have Full Keyboard Access set to allow the Tab key to cycle between "Text boxes and lists only". But Illustrator allows the Tab key to focus on all controls, including buttons. Is there a setting somewhere in Illustrator to change this behavior?
You can try to edit the keyboard file, but you need to find out the code for the Danish keys.

Planned cost in service order does not reflect PO price change
Dear experts:
I set up a service order for external processing using control key SM02. I enter the purchasing data e.g. price, vendor, info record. I determine costs and the system calculates the planned cost for purchasing correctly.
On saving the service order, a PR is automatically created. Then I raise a PO for the PR, and change the PO net price.
I now return to the service order and determine costs again. However, the system still calculate the planned cost based on the price in the external operation, not the changed PO net price. Only if I remove the price in the external operation and determine costs, will the system calculate the planned cost based on the PO net price.
I have played around with the Customzing setting for valuaiton variant (transaction OKP8). Changing the strategy sequence for External processing does not seem to make any difference.
Has anyone encountered this issue before?

In standard functionality the System will calculate the Planned price from the filed where you maintain the price for that operation.
The Planned price is PR price only for any order.The PO price is actual price/Market price,Once the GR will be done then the PO price will get update in the Actual cost of the Service order.
This is standard Functionality,If you want to update the planned price with the PO price then try with User exit to update the price.The field is PKOSTEN for the planned price.

Application Express version, 4.1.0.00.3 does not honor framsets
Have framesets been excluded from Application Express version, 4.1.0.00.32? The below framset was very effective for masking the undesirable information contained in the Application Express generated URLs. That is, the URL remained static for all generated page/parameter URLs generated by the state machine.
For the following HTML, when trying to access the Application Express workspace administration login page, Application Express 4.0.2.00.07 renders the simple frameset.

Note that this is not the behavior of my applications. The rewrite only occurs when accessing the Application Express workspace administration login page.

Blackberry email does not honor the Reply To field?
I've noticed that my blackberry replys to the FROM and ignores the REPLY TO field. Do you know anything about that?
When I reply to this specific email on my outlook, it responds to the REPLY TO address. If i do the same on my Blackberry, it reply to the FROM address.

So, I'm not able to replicate what you experienced. In which case I would suggest a few remedies:
1) Register HRT:
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books:
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Delete and completely recreate the BIS conduit

1240 AP does not honor native vlan diffent then 1
Hi,
I stumple with a cracy issue and hope someone have an idea what is going wrong.
I have an older 1240 Autonomous AP where I cannot figure out why the device is using vlan1 instead the required vlan 1616 for management traffic.
Anyway clients can connect, getting IP adresses and traffic is routed but the ap can be managed only via serial console cable or temp. by configuring
the port on the 3750 from trunk to an access port.

Office 2013 click-to-run does not honor deselecting 'Make Outlook the default program' checkbox
We use an email client other than Microsoft Outlook (let's say Thunderbird)
Thunderbird is set as the default mail client for the machine (HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\(default) set appropriately)
Occasionally, we launch Outlook (but absolutely do not want it as the default mail client for the machine). About 30 seconds after launching Outlook, we see that the Windows default mail client changes to Microsoft Outlook.The 'Make Outlook the default
program for E-mail, Contacts, and Calendar' checkbox in File->Options is disabled.
Further investigation with ProcMon indicates that a SYSTEM service called integrator.exe starts up about 30 seconds after we launch Outlook. This service changes the HKLM\Software\Clients\Mail\(default) registry key to be Microsoft Outlook.
We have tested with multiple non-Outlook email clients, and the behavior is always the same.
This only happens on click-to-run installs of Office 2013. Regular installs of Office 2013 do not have the problem. Older versions of Outlook do not have the problem.

Thanks for your reply. Your blog post would certainly work if this was just a user-mode app that was making the change, but that's not the case with Office 2013.
The integrator.exe process that is making the change is part of Microsoft's Click-to-Run system. It runs as a service with local system access, and thus would have full access to the key. I might be able to lock it down by creating a second system
admin account and playing games with it - but that will make it very difficult to actually change the value when I want it do be changed, and I really shouldn't have to be doing workarounds to prevent Office itself from doing this.

Not honoring plan price quoted on the phone after 10 yrs of loyalty
After being a loyal customer for 10 years, I called 3 weeks ago to discuss my text messages that would have been over my allotted 500 texts due to a crisis at work. The service rep was well more than understanding of the issue and resolved it. While on the phone, she reviewed my current plan that was a family shared plan of 1400 minutes, 350 of which actually got used over 4 lines due to the ability to choose 10 phone numbers that wouldn't count against the 1400. She explained that if I switched to the Share Everything plan with 2 smart phones and 2 standard phones and Unlimited phone and text and 10 GB of data), that it would save us about $20 per month. If I upgraded one line as I was planning to a smart phone it would be an additional $15 which was still $5 cheaper than my current bill. Now, three weeks later I call up to add the Smartphone I am told that the total bill is actually $10 more than my original plan agreement and adding the smart phone would be $35 more than what she quoted. After well over an hour on the phone, and pleading at least 10 times for them to pull the tapes and listen to the recorded conversation 3 weeks earlier where I had the rep explicitly explain all the charges, nothing was resolved. The rep said that his manager was contacting her manager via email and they would review the initial conversation. All I was told was that if there was a misquote, it could not be honored. I explained that I deserved an explanation as to where the misquote was and would be awaiting a call from Verizon explaining what happened. He told me that probably wouldn't happen and that I could pay this higher rate or go back to my old plan. This is no way an acceptable sales practice. I deserve an answer as to what they find on the conversation and recorded phone call. My bet is on the fact that no call or investigation is even going to be completed. After 10 years I deserve an explanation. I'm now searching other carriers. Any recommendations?
Even with the recording it will not go your way. The quote by the CSR is correct, the access fee for the additional line is $15 with a More Everything plan of 10 GB or more (there is a current promotion that gives the same rate for 6 GB or more). However, as is the new practice with Verizon, AT&T, and T-mobile, access no longer includes the cost of the phone. So you then have a monthly new phone payment of $20/month. That payment goes away when the phone is paid off or if you bring your own phone.
If you actually add up all the costs and consider you are saving the upfront upgrade fee of $40 and subsidized price of the phone, you usually end up ahead with this plan. As always, check your own math in both situations.
One very important step you must look at. Are any of your phones currently out of contract? If so, make sure you have the month to month discount on each of those lines. If a smartphone is out of contract with 10 GB of data, you will get $25/month off each smartphone line out of contract and $10/month of each basic phone out of contract. Often these are not added to your bill. You can add it yourself under features in My Verizon. Remember the phone must be out of contract.
That will be the best explanation you will get. Take the advice of the manager and accept the new phone and new monthly charges or return the phone and ask to go back to your old plan, or just have the More Everything Plan without a new phone and save $20/month. -
Quote does not print correct price
I created a price quote in VA21 for material XXXXXXX, entered the price in the sales tab & I've a price scale(VK12) for the same material under YPR0, when I print the quote the price I get is from the price scale(VK12). I'd like to print the price from under the sales tab in Change Quote(VA22). Can you help me with this please?

Select the application as "V1".Select your Order type.
Details.
Select your output type.
Click on Processing details.
Note down the program and make changes in the program to fetch the value from teh field "VBAP-NETWR" for each item.
Please check with your ABAPer for this change.

We have a business scenario where in Qty based price scales are maintained in MDM catalogue for eg. Product A
Qty 1 Price 1000
Qty 10 Price 100
Qty 100 Price 10
Qty 1000 Price 1
Shopper selects Product A from catalogue with Qty 100, price 10 is correctly derived. Now since the Qty field is changeable in shopping Cart shopper changes the qty from 100 to 10 the SC price is not reflected as per the price scale maintained in catalogue from 10 to 100, instead SC is saved with price 10, which seems to be incorrect.
Expected functionality is when qty is changed in shopping cart the price should be reflected from catalogue.
Is this a functionality or are we missing any configuration or BADI which need to be activated?

We got response from SAP stating limitation, when Qty is changes there is no call to catalogue to refresh price as per scales.
Yes as recommended we have following options
1. Go for Contract with price scales
2. Use Doc Check Badi to refresh price from Catalogue
3. Grey out Qty field if item is picked from Catalogue, any change in Qty can be carried out in catalogue itself.
