Does OCMS Support Voice Recognition?

Hi,
I am interested in building a voice recognition solution so customers can call in and create their own Service Request in Oracle CRM. I've seen a couple of old articles (2004/05) about Oracle building this capability into their Mobility Server product but can't find any info on the Oracle site.
Does anyone know if OCMS supports voice recognition? If so, is there any doco on it? Is it hard to do?
Any help appreciated.

OCMS in itself is purely a singalling server and does not support media operations such as voice recognition. However, OCMS does work with media servers such as Genesys' VoiceGenie VoiceXML platform, which does perform Speech Recognition with VoiceXML scripts.

Does AS10g Wireless Support Voice Recognition?

Hi,
We are looking to allow customers to create service requests in Oracle CRM via a voice recognition interface. The customer could speak answers to pre-defined questions over the phone and this is loaded into the CRM via an XML interface. Does AS10g wireless support this? If so, are there standard templates or does everything need to be custom built? Is this a lot more effort than other types of programming?
Any help would be appreaciated.

As far as I know, there isn't anything packaged to log SR into Oracle CRM using voice. But there is similar application available for Field Service Technicians. Technicians can get Customer/Task information using normal phone and using voice commands.
You may try to build a custom application using Mobile XML (MXML) of Oracle iAS Wireless for this purpose.

Does 1900 series router supports voice functon?

I have seen that 1921 and 1941 can insert a vwic3 interface card,but i cannot see pvdm on 1921&1941,my question is that how 1921&1941 support voice function(e.g voice termination)?

VWIC3 cards are not only for voice, that's why you can add them to a 1900 series router.

Can HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI support voice applications

The product sheet and another helpful forum post clearly states that the HWIC-1CE1T1-PRI does NOT support voice applications on the PRI, only data applications. However, running 15.2(1)T when we configure a PRI group, it seems to imply that it can support a voice application with a command option to the PRI-group.

This seems undocumented.
The router output is confusing and implies you could use the "voice-dsp" option to enable voice application. What is this all about? Best ignored I guess. The customer is now buying the correct hardware.

How can I revert back to version 5.1 from 6.1. Bluetooth support told me that version 6.1 is not supported. I highly doubt it. My voice recognition reconizes " Call my wife command".

I just bought a new car. Hyundia Hybrid. My bluetooth is not Reconizing my command to call a contact. I've been back to the dealer and no luck. When speaking to Bluetooth support directly he doesn't see Version 6.1. and suggested going back to Version 5.1 which is documented to be compatable with my Iphone 4s.
I doubt it because voice recognition takes the command " Call Wife" Can I revert back to 5.1 without clearing my phone back to origional settings?

I'm sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS. Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any iDevice.

IPhone 5 - Voice Recognition Does Not Work

The voice recognition does not work in any application. When you speak you see the waveform change following your speech. In Siri, it even recognizes when you stop speaking. In apps like Messages, the progress circle just goes around and around without stopping until you kill the app. In Siri, the progress circle goes around and around but after a while, Siri comes on and says she can not fulfill the request and to try later. I think I searched every possible setting.

It is covered under warranty. Make a Genius bar appointment.

Voice recognition support in mobile air application developed using Flash CS5.5

I want to develop an android application via Flash CS5.5 which takes the command based on voice or convert voice in to text. Voice recognition support is available in android SDK but it is not available in latest Air SDK.
I tried on Google to find out how to develop Voice recognition mobile application in Flash CS5.5 but did not find anything. There is some example/video which shows hack around native android code but this is for Flex not for the Flash.

Iphone 6 voice recognition not working

I have an iphone 6 and have had it since October 2014. For about a month now, the voice recognition option does not work. I like to use it rather than texting, and emails when I'm on the go and it's frustrating that I can't figure out what's wrong. I have looked through other threads to try and figure out what else I might do. So far I've:
rebooted (hard reset)
double checked that all my settings are correct re Siri and voice recognition
checked that it is not a problem with earphones v. no earphones. Doesn't appear to make any difference
Siri doesn't work either
Checked the microphone to make sure it's not blocked or something
I can use the phone feature just fine.
It just seems to be the voice recognition feature that doesn't want to cooperate. If you have any ideas please let me know!
I'm taking it to the Apple Store next week since I have run out of my own ideas... Thanks!

Does Siri support multiple languages

I live and work in a multilingual environment. As a result, I often have to send SMS and emails in English, French, Italian or Portuguese. With the keyboard, I am used to switch language with the globe key next to the spacebar. With Siri however I am not sure how this can work. When it does eventually support the above languages, will I be able to use different languages without changing the whole telephone setting? Can one say "send email to my wife: buongiorno amore"? It would be a real letdown if the coolest feature of iOS 5 were unusable to me...

Yes, exactly. I am using Siri in English since she gets better along with the rather easy synthax (compared to German). Unfortunately you cannot switch directly when writing a message. For example, if you tell her to "write a message to my wife", you may immediately dictate what you want to say but only in English. If I want to write her in German instead, I will have to tap once on the message area. She then instantly changes to German (or any other language that was used as keyboard before) which also affects Siri's voice recognition. But one tap is reasonable.

How do I hook up Koss CS 100 voice recognition headset to my iMac and make it work?

I just got a Koss CS 100 voice recognition headset to hook up to my iMac. It has 2 plugs 3.5mm diameter (one for the mic and one for the earphones. I cannot get the mic to work. I have tried
Preferences > Sound > input > audio port line in ....external microphone does not work
Preferences > Dictation and Speech > line in (and in automatic as well)......Ext Mic does not work
I have tried every possible combo of above.
How do I make these work with my iMac so I may improve speech recognition for transcription of letters. I am using the Apple speech recognition software supplied with OSX / Mavericks/

Moat likely the input impedance and/or level are wrong for the input port. You will probably need some sort of sound card plug-in like the iMic Support | Griffin Technology. Or search Google for USB sound cards such as Newegg.com - usb sound card mac.
If you plan to use Dragon Speech Recognition software, then they provide a headset as part of the purchase. See Dragon Dictate for Mac.

5220 Xpressmusic voice recognition.

Hello. Newbie here.
The wife has a Nokia 5220 Xpressmusic phone. Her new car plays music from the 5220 phone via the Bluetooth connection. Very impressed with the sound quality but she still needs to go into the phone music folder to select what track of music folder she wants, not a good idea to have to press lots of buttons when driving. What we would like to do is to use voice recognition so she can go to the song or music folder she wants to play using voice recognition. I did ask the Nokia help e-mail and they have replied that the phone does not have the facility that we want and advised that there is third part software that could do it. Has anyone any idea where I can find this software. I have done a “Google” but am unsure if what is on offer is OK and will do what we want. Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received.

N95 - handwriting & voice recognition

Hi all, I'm keen to buy the N95 as my SE P910 is dying and SE Australia are not selling the P990
The switch over to Nokia involves a new car kit, installation and the whole shebang. ie a lot of money.
Two great features of the SE that I use a lot are voice and handwriting recognition.
Can any one help out with the following information?
- does the N95 only support voice dialing for 10 numbers?
- being on the Symbian platform is there any good handwriting recognition software available for the N95?

I believe the N95 works the same way the N80 does which means it supports voice dialing for all numbers. You don't record a sound to assign to numbers, it "recognises" what you say and matches it to entries in your contacts.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is any writing recognition as there is nothing to write on: it does not have a touchscreen or even a partial touchscreen.
Text entry is done via the phone keyboard. This does have predictive text which means the phone tries to work out the words you're trying to enter, eg: if you enter 43556 it will display "Hello".
You can get Bluetooth QWERTY keyboards if you prefer, of course.

IPhone 4s Voice Recognition Stopped Working

Voice recognition/Siri worked yesterday but is not working today. I have powered it down multiple times, deleted new apps, turned Siri on and off but nothing has helped. Suggestions?

I use voice to text all the time. It worked yesterday but not today. I am not a big Siri user but tried it today as well. It acts as if it is listening but does not respond. I have also tried using my Apple headphones with microphone but that does not work either.

Voice recognition not dictation but open and close apps get time seems to have gone in yosemite is this the case or is it there somewhere?

I have two questions re voiceover and yosemite,
1, has voice recognition to open, close apps and the clock etc. been removed ?
2. when reading a pages documents I seem to have lost the ability to navigate by paragraph a great facility for skip reading and back searching. Has this been removed?
Can anyone advise.
