Does Oracle iStore 11i support integration with any analytics tool ?

Hi
We are planning to implement analytics with Oracle iStore 11i . However it seems like there is an integration possible with Oracle web analytics in R12. and there seems no such facility in 11i. Or is there one?
Also is there there any means available in Oracle iStore 11i to integrate with external Analytics tools like Google Analytics.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards
Srinivas

Hello Srinivas,
iStore introduces integration with Web Analytics in Release 12. There is no integration in Release 11i.
We have no documented way for integration with the Google Analytics.
Note that iStore allows users the flexibility to modify the jsp's to meet your business needs. Therefore, you could modifiy to enable tracking by Google Analytics.
We do not have any seeded integration.
Please advise on any additional questions.
Thank you,

  • Does SAP Netweaver Mobile support integration with devices like Intermec?

    Hi All,
    We have a scenario where the customer is currently using SAP Console based approach for RF transaction related requirement. The device used is Intermec CK31 for barcode scanning and updating the data in the SAP backend. Some example scenarios are Goods Issue & Scrap. Since the SAP Console based approach does not support Offline mode, the customer is interested in evaluating the option of using SAP Netweaver Mobile for the solution.
    Related to this requirement, we have the following queries.
    1)  Does SAP Netweaver Mobile support Intermec CK31 device without a product like Mobile Factory. What are the pros and cons in this approach of using SAP Netweaver Mobile only? If yes, are there any documentation how this can be accomplished?
    2) Are there simulators for Intermec scanning devices like Intermec CK31 to be used while application development?
    3)  Can Mobile Factory be used for implementing this requirement? Can it support offline scenarios without SAP Netweaver Mobile? Does Mobile Factory provide Simulators for the devices such as Intermec CK31 for application development?
    An early response would be greatly appreciated as we are in the process of evaluating a right approach for the customeru2019s requirement and the same needs to be provided soon.
    Thanks in advance.
    Suresh

    Hi,
    Refer to note 1057759 for the delivered Drivers for Peripherals  and devices supported in SAP DOE. This lists all the supported barcode scanners for SAP Netweaver Mobile. Those derivers are certified after testing to work only with that device and OS configuration.

  • Please help me to find out Oracle iStore 11i?

    I have difficulty to find out the Oracle iStore 11i among the Oracle11i CDs? Is there anyone have successfully installed iStore 11i? Please give me a hint, how to install it and where I can find store manager. Any help will be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance
    wei

    Wei,
    Istore 11I is bundel product with the Oracle Application 11i. You have to fully install Oracle Application 11I then you need to start the set up for iStore. There is a document called "Oracle iSupport Implementation Guide
    A86192-01" you can find it at metalink.oracle.com.
    If you cant find it there pls open a tar with the Oracle support requesting this document.
    Thanks,

  • Does Oracle 10G R2 support installation on Windows 2003 Domain Controller?

    Does Oracle 10g R2 support installation on Windows 2003 Domain Controller? I remember that 10g R1 had issues with the DC? Is it still the case. Does it work now?
    Any help is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Raghav

    We have Oracle 10g R2 running on a Windows 2003 domain controller. It was not a domain controller when Oracle was installed. The domain was created after installation. (I don't recommend that procedure. I spent a long day fixing the installation after they configured the domain.) If Oracle is unhappy with being on a domain controller, it has not shown it yet.

  • Does Oracle XML Parser support double byte charset?

    Hi,
    Does Oracle XML Parser support double byte characters such as Korean or Chinese? If so, please tell me what version and how to construct xml/xsl files (...encoding="???")?
    Thanks for any help,
    Tuan

    Hi Raymond,
    Thank you for your help. It worked when I running in JDeveloper with your posted code. However, when I tried in my real application, it won't work.
    The problem is for localization purposes, my application using some texts display in browsers are saved in Unicode file. Later, application runs and depends on languages setting in browsers, with JavaServlet retrieves those texts and saves in formated xml StringBuffer. Then, using existed XSL Stylesheet file and OracleXMLParser to generate an output HTML.
    It has worked fine with English, France or others (single byte characters), but it can't
    for double bytes character such as Korean or Chinese. I also tried different charset in xml file.
    The following is one of returning errors:
    -- oracle.xml.parser.v2.XSLException: XSL-1004: Error while parsing input XML document (<Line 1, Column 552>: XML-0221: (Fatal Error) Invalid char in text.)
    I run this app in win2000/IIS with ServletExec3.0, JDK1.2.2 and OracleXMLParser v2.0.2.10
    Thank you for any helps,
    Tuan

    Does the new MBP not come with any cd's (startup discs, etc).  It does have Lion installed

    Yes.  New school does not need them. There is a Recovery partition build into the new Lion OS that takes the place of DVD's.

  • Using Oracle iStore 11i as a stand-alone product

    Hi,
    We're looking into the possibilities of using Oracle iStore 11i at client's site. Our questions is: Do you need to have the entire back-end database in place in order to use the iStore or can you configure iStore as "stand-alone" product? If a stand-alone option is possible, what modules are required?
    Thanks!
    David

    I think you may have the Aggregator confused with the Multi-SCORM Packager tool.
    Aggregator comes with Cp5x standalone.  The Multi-SCORM Packager only comes with either Cp4 or the E-Learning Suites.  You cannot purchase it as a standalone product from Adobe.  I am on record as stating that I thought this tool should have remained a default part of the Captivate installation (as it was before Cp5x).  However, that's Adobe's prerogative.
    If you do not have access to Multi-SCORM Packager, Google for information about RELOAD Editor.  That might provide an alternative solution.

  • Does Kodo 4.1 support embedded with the owner-field attribute?

    Does Kodo 4.1 support embedded with the owner-field attribute?
    My investigations so far say no, that it is infact ignored. This is a very serious problem for the project I am working on.
    Please proove me wrong...

    A lot of it stems from the large and complex nature of the models we employ. Hardly a week goes by that we don't grind to a halt due to a bug in jpox. That then leeds to the thorny problem of trying to discuss the problem on the jpox forums, where there are basically only two members that know the product well enough to help... Net result, they are overwhelmed, and from one of them it comes across in the rudeness of replies. This puts people off, including us.
    I contrast this with the Hibernate and Spring communities, which I have personally been involved with and found to be both thriving and rewarding.
    A bit of QA and respecteful support will be wonderfull. We are happy to pay a company for that because of the man hours it saves. I sincerely hope that Kodo JDO works out for us.

  • Oracle Adapter for SAP that supports Integration with SAP 6.0??

    Hi,
    I am working currently with Oracle Adapter for SAP with SAP 4.6.
    But my company is looking for upgrading the Enterprise SAP system to 6.0.
    Do we have Oracle Adapter for SAP that supports SAP 6.0? Please let me know if anyone has already worked on this?
    Thanks,
    Sasi Bhushan

    Sasi,
    There is a new MySAP adapter with 10.13.1 and above to support ECC 6.0. Please see the following section in the 10.1.3.1 adapter release notes:
    12.4.1 MySAP ERP Versions and APIs
    The following MySAP ERP platforms are supported by OracleAS Adapter for MySAP
    ERP:
    ■ SAP R/3 Enterprise 47x100
    ■ SAP R/3 Enterprise 47x200
    ■ MySAP ERP Central Component (ECC) 5.0, deployed on SAP NetWeaver 2004
    ■ MySAP ERP Central Component (ECC) 6.0, deployed on SAP NetWeaver 2004s
    ■ SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) Version 2.18.
    For the current release status of the SAP Java Connector, refer to SAP Note #549268
    in the SAP Service Marketplace.
    Release versions may vary by product component. In addition, SAP functions may
    vary by SAP product version and support package.
    Note: The OracleAS Adapter for MySAP ERP supports only the versions listed above.
    It is not recommended to use the OracleAS Adapter for MySAP ERP with older
    versions of SAP R/3. If you plan to use the adapter with older versions of SAP R/3 for
    example SAP R/3 4.6C, prior approval from iWay Software Product Management is
    required.

  • Oracle Secure Enterprise Search integration with Hadoop

    Hello Guys,
    I am currently exploring Oracle SES for performing search across all enterprise information assets. One of my asset is a Hadoop system holding a huge dump of data.
    Does SES have out of box integration with Hadoop (hdfs) or is there any specific connector available that can be used to make the connection and search data.
    I am new to Oracle SES, appreciate if someone could answer this question.
    Thanks,
    Sooraj

    It can be done but it's not easy.
    Federation is done through the Web Services API. To create a custom federation to a non-SES endpoint, you have to replicate most of the Web Services API. You can choose to do it selectively, for example you can choose to implement doOracleSearch but not doOracleAdvancedSearch or doOracleBrowseSearch (names from memory - could be wrong) which would give you the basic search capability but no advanced search or browse against the federated source.
    Then you've got the problem of merging results. When all federated sources are SES based, it's easy to merge them. You know that a document which scores 63 fron one source is more accurate than one that scores 62 from another, and so should appear higher in the hitlist. But if one of those sources is - say - Bling, then how do you that 63 as a score from Bling is comparable to 63 as a score from SES? They're probably not comparable.
    These are the reasons that mention of federation to external sources was removed from the 10.1.8.4 documentation, it was felt that it just wasn't practical for most users.
    A rather better alternative is to use the Suggested Content feature. This is MUCH easier to configure, and doesn't attempt to merge the results. From a user's point of view this may be less desirable than a merged result set, but given that any such merge probably won't work well, it's really better all round.

  • How does oracle determine to return results with progression

    Hi all,
    I am having some difficulty with using the progression funcionality in oracle text search.
    I am basing this on the oracle example at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/text/htdocs/prog_relax.html?_template=/ocom/print
    When I set up my tables and idexes as such:
    create table mybooks (title varchar2(20), author varchar2(20));
    insert into mybooks values ('Consider the Lillies', 'Ian Crichton Smith');
    insert into mybooks values ('Sphere', 'Michael Crichton');
    insert into mybooks values ('Stupid White Men', 'Michael Moore');
    insert into mybooks values ('Lonely Day', 'Michaela Criton');
    insert into mybooks values ('How to Teach Poetry', 'Michaela Morgan');
    insert into mybooks values ('my test', 'vs.update flag');
    create index auth_idx on mybooks (author) indextype is ctxsys.context;
    note I added the "my test" entry;
    now when I run the query:
    SELECT score(1), title, author FROM mybooks WHERE CONTAINS (author, '
    <query>
    <textquery>
    <progression>
    <seq>flag update</seq>
    <seq>?flag ?update</seq>
    <seq>flag OR update</seq>
    <seq>?flag OR ?update</seq>
    </progression>
    </textquery>
    </query>', 1) > 0 ORDER BY score(1) DESC;
    I get no results.
    however if I switch the sequence to:
    SELECT score(1), title, author FROM mybooks WHERE CONTAINS (author, '
    <query>
    <textquery>
    <progression>
    <seq>?flag OR ?update</seq>
    <seq>flag update</seq>
    <seq>?flag ?update</seq>
    <seq>flag OR update</seq>
    </progression>
    </textquery>
    </query>', 1) > 0 ORDER BY score(1) DESC;
    The row I am looking for comes back.
    I do not understand why in one case it returns it while in the other it does not. Should it not return it either way just with a lower score?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Mik

    Hi,
    I am running 10.2.0.2 on solaris(x86) system.
    Referring to http://www.oracle.com/technology/support/patches.htm this appears to be the most recent patch level for this os/processor combo.
    Is there another patch/hotfix available that I am not aware of or a workaround to this issue?
    Thanks,

  • Oracle Meter Data Management Integration with SAP ISU

    Hello Everyone,
    I am aware of the fact that Oracle has released a Media pack for the subject integration as discussed here and that media pack works only for SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 5 with ISU_AMI_2.
    We have got OU MDM Release 2.1 Media Pack v4 and SAP ERP 6.0 EHP 4 with ISU_AMI_1 and hence Adapter in MDM won't help to achieve integration with SAP as our SAP EHP is lower than what is required for the MDM adapter. We have got SAP PI which would help the SAP End in the integration.
    What are the possible work-around(s) to achieve the integration between Oracle MDM and SAP ISU without using the Media Pack/Adapter?
    How does MDM exposes its services (inbound/outbound) to be consumed/triggered by External systems (i.e. SAP ISU)?
    List of Services (inbound/outbound) exposed by Oracle MDM for integration?
    Your time and help is much appreciated.

    Adil Khalil

    Did you find the document Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Meter Data Management Integration Implementation Guide?

  • Installation of Oracle Apps 11i Realese 5 with 11.5.6 Family Pack

    I am having problem starting the installation of this program.......Oracle Apps 11i Realese 5. I have Windows 2000 and would like to do CD installation rather than Stage installation.
    I have downloaded and ran the JDK-1_1_8_009-Win. Here are the steps taken: I inserted the Red CD "Start Here" in my CD-ROM, opened the DOS prompt, and changed the C:> prompt to E:> prompt which is my CD-ROM drive, I then typed E:>cd rapidwiz....Enter, this opens E:\rapidwiz>, I then typed rapidwiz.cmd which was supposed to open my Oracle Universal Installer, butI got: E:\rapidwiz>start.\bin\launch.exe.RapidWiz.cL
    E:\rapidwiz>
    What do I do from here, do I insert the Disk 1 or what, because I have 14 CD's to be installed.

    Hi Timi,
    Nice to see that you're involved in the setup of Oracle Applications 11.5.5. I see that you've run into a few roadblocks and while I am sure that I have a solution to the problem you're facing, it's a tad too long to get into on this forum.
    If you could get in touch with me via E-Mail ([email protected]) or call me at 732 423 8023 (I'm available after 8pm EST), I'd be glad to help you out. Forgive me for saying so but the installation process is rather long and I have no desire to outline the entire process here.
    Just curious, are you professionally associated with Oracle Applications or does it stem from a personal interest ?
    I look forward to hearing from you.
    Best Wishes,

  • Does Oracle Service Registry Support non SOA artifacts?

    I read through some of the Oracle Service registry documentation and it seems like it only supports storing only these 4 types of artifacts in the registry.
    Oracle Service Registry provides you with functionality to register the following resources:
    *• WSDL definition*
    *• XML file*
    *• XML Schema (XSD)*
    *• XSL Transformation*
    So can the registry not be used to register other resources like Jar files, BPEL processes, shared portlets and any other generic artifacts we want to be in the registry?
    Thanks

    That is true but OER (Oracle Enterprise Repository) supports many other types like the ones you mentioned.
