Does OVM3.03 have the same issues that OVM2 had with Broadcom nics?

OVM2 servers had occasional broadcast storms using Broadcom nics.
This is particularly true of the onboard Broadcoms on Dell PE710s.
Does OVM3 have the same issues with the onboad Broadcom nics on Dell blades (PowerEdgeM910 )?

But, the best answer is for you to try it and see. :) I don't have any Dell blades to test with myself.

I have just installed Firefox 6, and Rapport no longer works - the same problem that you had with Firefox 5. What is happening?

You prompted me to install Firefox 6 this evening, as it addresses serious security/stability problems, but when I did this, the Rapport icon vanished from the address bar. Reinstalling the current version of Rapport has not fixed this.
The same thing happened a few months ago with Firefox 5, and it took Rapport a week to develop a new compatible version.
Why has this happened again? Do you not check this before launching new versions? Or, why at the very least do you not warn us beforehand that some programs will not work for X days? I'd prefer to be without the latest Firefox for a week or so rather than without Rapport - not least because my bank requires me to use Rapport.
Please advise ASAP.

Does PSE 13 have the same issues with STI Installers as does PSE 11?

I have not been able to install PSE 11 even after doing ALL the recommended fixes. I am now considering getting 13 and trying it out,
hopefully I can get it to install . I have spent 6 days so far with NO LUCK.

STI stands for Shared Technology .On the Elements DVD disc, it is found under the Photoshop Elements Folder as PSEInstaller.
It is installed at the end of the Installer sequence and I found it in both Photoshop Elements 9 and 11 both which I have as legal retail copies,
neither which would install. If run seperately, they would bomb out by stating that the installer "could not initialize" and then
every thing would roll back and uninstall.
I tried both 9 and 11 from disc, downloaded 9 and 11 from Adobe, tried them, no joy.The trouble shooter (Adobe Support Advisor) you linked
to, has been discontinued, (along with 5 other pages of suggestion I tried, & none of which worked) has been removed and is not availible
any more at Adobe for trouble-shooting the installation logs.
I downloaded PSE 13 (trial) and it seems to have done the trick. I don't know the design differences between 9, 11 and 13, at
this point I don't much care. I'm a little bit annoyed that Adobe would pull a trouble shooting tool and leave customers
swinging at the end of a very long, very frayed rope with only KB articles and the very able assistance of fellow custmers.

Yup, i have the same issue, i reported this with apple and there is ticket opened for me with
the engineering section. more that month still not solved. I was hope after update to IOS 8.1.3 to fix!
But not fixed yet.

Yeah, it´s happening in normal 3g coverage area, in fact, i used the 3g to download the iOS but after installing it, the phone doesn't get the 3g anymore.
I tryed the reboot pocess, but it didn't fix it
I haven't tryed the restore to factory settings process,
Is there a way to downgrade to iOS 5.1 again?

i have a serious (and bizarre!) issue with my novation impulse (Although i've tried it with two other keyboards and i still have the same problem) and its compatibility with mainstage 3.

(Clearly i'm not alone in this problem, although i think i figured out what's going wrong a little more than he did...read on!)
his solution, to put mainstage in jump mode, is very unsatisfactory to me, as it bounces all of a sudden to drastically different settings.
basically, my analysis is that my controller is NOT receiving MIDI date from mainstage. in other words, mainstage knows what my controller is doing, but my controller doens't know what mainstage is doing.
let's say i turn the knob all the way to the right ... 127...and the virtual fader goes to the right like it's supposed to.
now...next...let's say i change to a different patch, where that same VIRTUAL fader is not at the max clockwise position..maybe it's only at 1pm. now when i turn the physical knob to the RIGHT, the midi data is still at 127 on the controller! it didn't "reset" to sync up with the new level (say 80 or so) setting on the new patch. so i can't increase that new setting of 80 by continuing to turn the knob to the right. i have to turn it all the way to zero,...and then continue PAST zero until the controller thinks that IT is at 0...at that point the controller and mainstage are in agreement, and things work fine....so bascially, the keyboard thinks the level is at max...but mainstage thinks the level is at 1pm.
i am using Logic 9, and i have a macbook pro 2.9 Ghz I7 with 8 gigs of memory and OS X 10.8.4

I downloaded and tried EasyFind. It works but it took 30+ seconds to complete finding 3 files that are on One of my Five 25+ Gb partitions of my 130 Gb Seagate Cuda(Really 160 Gb, but my Sawtooth will only recognize 130) I figured that if I ever got a better box, I could reformat it to see the whole 160 Gb. So, as far as I can see, Spotlight's indexing scheme which finds the files instantly is probably preferable. Spot light allows you to rename your files from within it's app window. I've always thought that was pretty powerful. Could my doing so be causing me any issues? As i said it is the inability to Type in the Finder that seemed to be caused from changing file Extentions that were mis-written. Maybe it was a delayed reaction to my renaming files in the Spotlight app? I've done both on occasion.
As for these .DS_Store files. Apparently you can NOT stop them from being written to any folder that you touch/open/view during a days session. But, as a function of the OS, are the essential to have in their respective folders Forever? I've looked at the .DS_Store terminator app briefly and assume that getting rid of these files won't hurt the regular operation of my OS. They will just be re-written if I ever have to go back to any particular folder again. But, apparently, some have said that if the plan on burning a CD or DVD of their data, they delete the .DS_Store files first and then do the burn.
I'm thinking from your having suggested this tremination app that you suspect that my having all of these ,DS_Store files could be a situation where any of them could have become corrupted and terminating them regularly should be part of my regular maintenance.
Does that sound like I'm understanding what I can do?

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

the thing is that when i did the clean install they did check with a hardware test first and nothing was wrong, i guess it was a false-positive, is there anything in the kernel report from which i can say it's either hardware or software related

If I reinstall Windows and restore Firefox profile, will I have the same issues I did before?

I assume if I reinstall Windows and restore Firefox 14.0.1 profile with the profile folder I backed up, I will have the same issues as I did before I backed up and reinstalled. Presently, it sucks down memory (including flash plugin, 500 or 600MB, I save, close and reopen it with same tabs, it uses half of that), bookmarks drop down freezes and FF is generally sluggish. I have tried disabling addons but that doesn't help. I use ccleaner everyday. Will it be just like I never did a reinstall if I restore that profile? or is there a better way to reinstall portions of it at a time and check performance as I do. I dont want to dive deep into the bowels of FF and do intricate micro-tinkering if I dont have to; I have put up with it for this reason.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
#Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

On all of these devices, go to: Settings > iCloud and make sure they're updated with the new password. If you're talking about Macs, go to: "System Preferences > iCloud" too.
