Does Photoshop 7 DEFINITELY not work?

I've ordered Leopard only so that my new iPod Touch will work (currently have Panther on my 1.25GHz G4).
But if Photoshop 7 (and presumably also Illustrator and InDesign of the same vintage) definitely won't work at all, as looks likely, then I'm inclined to not bother installing it because upgrading to a new Creative Suite is a whole different ball game in terms of cost.
Question is, can I now get hold of a copy of Tiger? Wish I'd upgraded to Tiger at the time now.

Why not? Vista is a MAJOR change from what was used when P7 was written
Both Microsoft AND Apple (ala Snow Leopard OS) are known to break things with each new version of their operating system software
Even within Microsoft, the Office 97 I use with WinXP does not work with Vista or Windows 7
When I build a 64bit computer next year and start using Win7 64bit, I will have to buy a new MS Office and all new Adobe CS5 software

Photoshop Pattern Definition not working correctly

I work as a graphic designer at a company working with CS6. I try to define a pattern but when the dialogue box pops up in define pattern the pattern does not define as I want it to. Instead of defining it as it looks in the image. The pop up turns it into something else. I've taking a screen capture of the problem and inserted it below.
What do I do to fix this issue?

Adobe completely ignored the report. Not even an acknowledgement. That's what we get for $1000, I guess.
Try creating your pattern in 8-bit RGB mode. It'll still be usable in other modes.

Why does Photoshop Elements 6 not work with Apple OSX version 10.9?

I have recently updated my MacBook Pro and my Mac desk top to OSx version 10.9 and now Photoshop elements 6 does not respond. It opens and then stays frozen. Nothing responds. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix this issue?

I go to blur a painting i am doing and it does not blur enough and I am using wacom Intuos 5 med pen tablet.
and I even set the tablets sensitivty for pressure lower then default and still not getting the blur tool to do its job.
I even adjusted the brush settings too to be able to blur even more on hard settings, still nothing.
at least it not bluring enough to see any major changes.
the only way i can blur anything is by using the fliters blur or the brushes ( mixer brush ) settings to mix colors and do it that way.
(note) I will not post my systems specs sorry I don't do that and even the tech from adobe said I do not have to. and so I wont !
just need advise not to share system specs.
and thats what this forums board is for getting advice and read what others say about the issue at hand.

It might be your image is too big in terms of pixel dimensions for the blur tool to work well.
If you zoom to 100% do you see any change when using the blur tool?
What are the pixel dimensions of the image?
(Image>Image Size)
If you try a small image, does the blur tool work?
What about when you use the mouse instead of your tablet?
Can you at least tell us what operating system and version of photoshop your using?

Three things you can try:
1. Clean the superdrive with a proprietory CD/DVD lens cleaner that uses tiny brushes.
2. Perform an SMC reset:

Why does my card reader not work on my iPad since upgrade?

I use my iPad mini to download photos from my camera when I'm on the road. In the summer I bought the "3 in 1 Card Reader Adapter Cable Camera Connection Kit, 3 Port Card Reader for iPad 4 and iPad Mini by Eurekka" and it worked wonderfully. I was able to download photos (jpg and RAW) directly to the iPad and off the camera, and once home it was a flawless upload to my iMac.
However, once I upgraded to iOS 7 last week I get a message saying the device is not supported. What gives? Will this be fixed or will Apple products only accept Apple accessories from now on?

and secondly and I know this from experience, ( but on 32 bit ) is it loaded already as in sat in task manager, but not actually get at able, killing the processes cures it or a reboot of course

If so - use Finder - View menu - Show View options & choose 'Arrange by' : none
If not - please describe exactly what the problem is.

You need to provide a better description of what isn't working, system info and all that. This could be all sorts of technical issues or your trial could simply have bombed itself. In the latter case there is nothing you can do:
Adobe trial software expired early
Anything else like iunstall issues can in most cases be sorted out...

Adobe Photoshop CS5 is not working with Lion. It is totally non responsive to a point where i cannot work. all other CS5 programs seem to be running well so far. any advice? if no, then how do i revert back to Snow leopard?

I had real problems with all Adobe apps - it said I needed to install a version of Jave Runtime, but kept saying that I wasn't connected to the internet to complete the action. This was not the case - I was connected to the internet.
I followed this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1421 to install a version of Java and all Adobe apps fire up now. Haven't done much testing within the apps, but at least I'm further ahead than I was.
So thanks to the message boards for helping me out.

Hi,
It was never completely clear whether it was just hidden or whether Apple ran a download page for iChat 6.
As the Download for Messages Beta was separate and "Deleted" iChat it would seem it would be another download for iChat 6.
iMessages will not function as it is only an Account type within Messages and iChat 6 does not have it.
Therefore messages on the iPhone will not sync to the Mac. (until you get Mountain Lion and Messages in that OS X version).
Mountain Lion and it's full version of Messages will not sync the iMessages that have happened in between the 14th December 2012 (end date of Messages beta) and the Install of Mountain Lion if you decide on that route.
