Does SAP provide a standard tool that can make the SAP Hot Backup ?

Dear Guru ,
We are planning a Disaster Recover Plan . And we eager that we have one Hot Backup SAP Production system ...
The idea is like that :
1 . Real Production System transfer redo log or archive log to Hot Backup Server in every 15 minutes .
2 . Hot Backup Server refresh the database base on the redo log or archive log .
3 . Once Real Production System shutdown , the Hot Backup server can be as the Real Production system for daily usage .
Is SAP providing this kind of tool as well ?

SAP runs on many combinations of databases and operating systems. The database vendors usually have methods and tools to do what you want so no, SAP doesn't provide any tools because SAP is only the application using the database.
You'll have to ask your database vendor.

RDA is Oracle support tool. I don't think you can use the output file for other purpose, at least not legally.

My daughter somehow managed to reset my Mac Book Pro, does anyone know of a recovery tool that can restore the previous installation and all my files?

Last night as I was working on a term paper my wife called for my help, I made the mistake of not putting my MacBook Pro up where are four-year-old could not get to it. While I was assisting my wife or daughter somehow managed to get to the reset and reset my MacBook Pro. Now I have worked several years in IT in the Microsoft Windows environment and I know there's all kinds of software tools to recover previous installations of Microsoft products, is there such a tool for Apple Macintosh. If there is, can please somebody tell me the name of the recovery software? I really need to recover the lost files!

Unfortunately OSX doesn't have such good tools like System Restore, etc. If you don't have a TimeMachine backup or another backup of any kind, you're kind of lost. Did you just lose personal files or did you lose everything (apps, etc.). I guess what I'm asking is... I can't exactly tell what your daughter did without you providing more info. Is it possible that she deleted your entire profile? If you've worked in IT for so long, you should be able to provide a more detailed description of the actual problem. What was changed?... You should be able to tell that without asking her.

Things that can make the Apple TV better

1. Using a iPhone or iPod touch as a remote control (as an option). This would make it similar to Squeezebox™ Duet. I love to listen to music online in my living room.
2. 1080p movie downloads
3. Being able to purchase movies in HD
3. A small but elegant LCD display on the Apple TV (for use for internet radio streaming).
4. Support for WMA streaming. (Unfortunately there are many websites that use this format. Maybe one day this will change)

1 - would be great given that these devices can connect to your router wirelessly
2 - not practical currently unless they were heavily compressed to the detriment of quality to allow reasonable download speed

Are you using ADE to read bought books, library books, or only free books?
If only free books, I suggest you install the superior free Calibre instead (http://calibre-ebook.com/)
For bought or library books you do need to install ADE on the new machine.
You will also need to register it with your Adobe ID; the same one you used on the last machine.
If you can't remember that ID or the password, ask, and we may be able to help.
I will give instructions for the latest version of ADE (2.0.1), even though I am afraid it has more problems than the old one it is more 'standard'.

Click on the 'Download Digital Edition 2.0.1 Windows (5.6 MB)' (you can go direct to http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/digitaleditions/ADE_2.0_Installer.exe if you prefer)
When it has downloaded you must open/run it. If you are using Internet Explorer, choose the Run option when you start the download.
It should now go through a fairly standard install procedure, asking if it is ok to run the program, etc etc
Take the easy 'yes' or equivalent option at each step.
When it is safely installed, run it. It should have put an icon on the desktop.
You now need to authorize ADE.
Use ctrl-shift-U which will open up a dialog asking for your Adobe ID and password.
You should now be able to use it pretty much as you used ADE on your old machine.
Good luck. Unfortunately not a very easy process even when all works well, and there are several things that can go wrong.
Don't hesitate to ask again if you need help.

Direct show is any file that will normally play in Windows Media Player. So make sure you have the codecs installed in your pc prior to using Super. For example, Super will encode AVI files (Divx, xVid) but these files don't normally play in WMP, so they are not Direcshow, but once you install the DivX codec then they will play on WMP and then you can use the directshow.
If the file is not Directshow then you cannot rotate it.

Thanks, found the option you are talking about, and installed the latest version of DivX, (I had version 2. Something). Unfortunately, although I haven't tried it, i'm pretty sure that mp4 files are not Directshow, unless DivX has changed alot.

It's called "SelfControl". It can be a little hard to learn to use but it's worth the effort.

You would need to first create the form ( or Widget in EchoSign) first to generate a url which you can paste it in the email being sent to customers. You would need to make sure you have a Document Cloud Enterprise Premium account in order to create a Widget. If you don't have the account, you can use the trial version to test it. Your description of the problem is not quite clear so I made certain assumptions. I hope I am rigtht. I believe you have a color patch such as this:
that you would like to place in an image area that has modeling in its white background. You do not want to lay in a flat color but rather to add a color and not lose the modeling or other background tone. The problem is, after making the selection, if you use Edit > Fill and set the Blending mode to Color, the white background remains white. The only colored background area may be an object's shadow or some similar area that is not pure white. (Image 2) It is an unsatisfactory result.
If that is an accurate description of the problem, consider this:
Image 1: The original image
Image 2: Edit > Fill with the Blending mode set to Color. White remains white
Image 3: Mode changed to Lab Color. Edit > Fill with the Blending Mode set to Color. Then return to RGB.
(I would not normally use this green as a replacement color but since it is a Tiffany clock, I chose a light version of Tiffany's trademark color.)

The popup message always warns to do a backup first since there is the potential of lost data if the upgrade fails.
Sadly, your only option at this point is to restore and hope there is a backup stored from a previous sync.
