I have Satellite C850-B519 and i'm asking if " Kingston predator DDR3 1866MHz CL10 Intel XMP DIMM" is compatible with my device or not?

According notebook specification your notebook works with DDR3 RAM (1.600 MHz) modules.
Compatible modules are:
4GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M4G
8GB DDR3-1600 - PA5037U-1M8G
I have checked Kingston page and was not able to find your notebook model there.

The machine has a frontsidebus of 800Mhz, but it only supports DDR2-667 RAM.
So, you wont have a benfit when you install faster modules.

Satellite C850-B519 - Bluetooth peripheral device not found

I have Satellite C850-B519 notebook serial no. 9c287842r from egypt where i live but after downloading bluetooth drivers from toshiba website and installed i got that *"bluetooth peripheral device"* couldn't be found .....also when installing toshiba bluetooth stack it gives me that screen ( it's the jpg link ) and make no progress even i left the notebook installing for 3 hours without any progress

As I said: Realtek WLan driver -> Realtek BT filter package + Toshiba BT stack
Here you can get the BT stack:

Finally you have to enable the BT using F12 (or Fn + F12) to finish the installation!

First of all not all Satellite models supports Bluetooth. In case the BT isnt supported, you could not install BT drivers and BT stack!
Furthermore the Satellite C850 series is equipped with different modules (Atheros, Intel or Realtek). Usage of wrong drivers leads to the same error.

I checked the Toshiba European driver page and didnt find Win XP 64bit drivers for ANY Toshiba series.
I think the Windows XP 64bit drivers will be not released.
Fact is that Windows XP 64bit was not so popular like Win XP 32bit or Vista 64bit OS
Secondly the Win XP 64bit is a discontinued OS so unfortunately, I would not wait for Win XP 64bit drivers

but it was a little bit slow with USB 1.1
I bought an USB 2.0 PCMCIA Card. After installing it, it works without problems!

I have an early 2011 13-inch MacBook Pro. I was just wondring if it will support 16GB RAM? The apple website says it can only support up to 8GB but I read elsewhere that it is able to support 16GB.

Crucial.com and macsales.com (OWC) sell RAM that is tested to be compatible with MAC and will guide you to the proper RAM. I am running crucial 16 Gb now.

Does Satellite M60-135 support C-Sel?

the TEAC DVD drive doesn't work anymore.
So I'd like to replace it.
Thinking about alternatives I stumbled about the Pioneer DVR-K16L drive.
But this one is obviously configured as "cable select".
Does my M60-135 support this or do I have to choose another drive?
Any suggestions welcome!

Such information is not known to me and mostly if you want to buy an drive for you notebook you should firstly call the Toshiba authorized service provider for information about compatible drives.
There is also another possibility to find out what settings the notebook supports.
I use Nero burning rom and this application supports an diagnostic function. It listed the whole info about the installed CD/DVD drive.
After such diagnostic procedure you should know more details about the installed drive and you should buy the drive which supports the same specification

sorry I have to disappoint you. The Satellite 1410-401 has only 3 USB 1.1 ports!
You can add USB 2.0 with external solutions like PCMCIA USB 2.0 Cards.

The notebook supports the Intel 945GM chipset.
This chipset seems to support max 533MHz.
So if you would plug 667MHz memory modules, then the system would still works at 533MHz.
The modules are DDR2 so I dont see any reasons why the dual channel should not work in your case.

Notebook supports SATA interface. The SATA controller has not limitation to the HDD size so theoretically you should be able to use such big HDD but to be honest; I never used such big HDD. The biggest one which I used in by notebook was 500GB and this was big enough.
However, you will need to test it to b e100% sure.

I have two ram modules installed on my toshiba a100-014. They are both PC2-4200. However CPU-Z that's a little software that helps out with finding out what are the specs of the hardware on your machine, says i have two PC2-4300. Isn't that funny?
why do you guys think that CPU-Z is not recognizing the RAM modules i have installed? By the way, the machine runs perfectly!

jeffrey, thanks, i just downloaded PC WIzard Orca Logic Edition, and it says the same thing: it detects two modules PC2-4300, however i can assure you, i have seen the modules with my own eyes, when i opened the back of the computer, i had inside a PC2-4200S that's what it said, which is exactly what was stamped on my other RAM Module of 516 MB.
so i felt safe installing the PC2-4200s. Did i explain myself? i mean, i assure you i have seen it with my own eyes!

I used cpu-z to know more details about RAM, processor, motherboard ....etc
But when I got to motherboard name it was "Type 2-Board Vendor Name 1" ,so what's that?
Ive searched a lot about it but I found nothing .... I want to know (max. FSB speed, max. Ram speed, SATA slot max speed) ...and everything about it.

Maximum limits? In my opinion you should not think on desktops and possibilities for Hardware upgrade to the limits. Due to specific construction and design something like this is not supported and not so easy to be done on notebooks.
Generally speaking CPU is powerful enough. GPU cannot be upgraded. Cooling system is designed for this certain hardware platform and it should work well and cool down hardware properly.
What you can do to increase notebooks performance is to upgrade RAM to maximum level with high quality and 100% compatible RAM modules and also change existing HDD with super fast SSD.
After doing this and with optimized preinstalled OS you will have very fast machine without doing something risky.

I was trying to clean my toshiba L505-13J laptop, when I found a sign of a SIM under the battery.
I tried to put a SIM but it doesn't hold in its place. It is directly "swollowed".
So does my laptop support 3G SIM? if so, how could I put it?

No, the Satellite L505-13J does not support 3G module.
I assume that some models of the Satellite L500 / L505 series were equipped with the 3G module.
The point is that the same bottom cover has been used in whole L500 series and therefore there is an sim card slot available under the main battery.

Does Satellite P750-10E supports keyboard backlight?

Hello,
Yesterday I bought Toshiba Satellite P750-10E and I'm not sure if this model has keyboard backlit, because in few reviews I saw that this model has keyboard backlit but I dont have it, or dont know to turn it on.
Please help me to fix this problem, I really need keyboard backlit because many times type in dark room. :)
BTW this is awsome notebook, Im very greatfull and happy to have this model, just need a keyboard backlit if its possible to turn on.

Checked the user manual of the P750-10E but didnt find the info that the keyboard backlight would be available I think the notebook does not support this feature.
Furthermore if the keyboard would support backlight, then the Z button should contain a tiny sign which would refer to this feature.
