Does script ui have anything similar to measurement editboxes in dialogs?

I'm looking for a edit boxes in script ui that take care of unit conversion, math execution, and error correction like the core indesign input fields and measurement editboxes in dialogs. I haven't found anything in my search. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

No, ScriptUI has no measurement fields. I wrote a measurement handler for ScriptUI a while back. Go to http://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/sidenotes.html, you can see how the measurement fields look. For the code, download the zip file linked at the foot of the page. Use the code in the script sidenotes_stack.jsx, that's the most recent. The functions in the script provide most of the functionality that you know from InDesign's measurements fields.

No, but that's not a problem. Acrobat isn't used to "make" documents in the way Word, or Pubisher, or whatever is. Instead, you continue to use Word or Publisher or whatever, and CONVERT the file to PDF. For every change, no matter how small, you change the original and make it again.

Here are some extra info for you :-)
a) Only FTP/Telnet/HTTP are supported if you want to have transparent interception.
OR
b) If you want to let all users to be authenticated first then the option is WebAuth in which user has to manually type in the WebAuth Server IP Address configured at NetScreen to authenticate themselves before they are granted access to any services
c) Only Local Database, RADIUS and LDAP authentication source are supported (No TACACS support as opposed to PIX/ASA)

TS1702 My iPhone 4s will not display any pdf file in any of several apps. Does anyone else have a similar problem?

I have tried several apps including Adobe Reader, PDFReader Lite and iBooks to open PDF files. No files I sync to the 4S are even displayed, much less opened. I'd like to hear from anyone who has been able to overcome a similar problem.

How about trying this as step 2:
When you open the PDF attachment in Mail that you can read, click the action (right arrow) button near the top right of your screen. One of the options there should be "Open in iBooks". Does that work for you? It should!

Interested in the transform/warp function in Photoshop. Does Lightroom 4 support anything similar?

Recently bought a fisheye lens. The said Warp function has been suggested as a substitute way of fisheye-hemi for removing the fisheye effect of the lens.
In Photoshop, the Warp function is accessed in layering mode via Transform. Can't find anything like that in Lightroom. Is it provided in a different way?
If not supported, does Photoshop Elements support that?

Lightroom has lens profiles for removing fisheye distortion if the lens is supported, and LR also has manual lens distortion corrections although they are not enough to substantially defish a FE photo.
Lightroom does not support arbitrary deformations of an image because it is a non-destructive editor and the recomputation time of such transformations every time something about the image was adjusted would be prohibitive.
I am not seeing a mesh or warp transformation mode in my PSE12. There are Filters / Distort / Liquify or Pinch tools but they are limited.

30GB battery already low - does FM transmitter have anything to do with it?

I purchased a 30GB about a month ago. I have charged it 2 or 3 times so far. I have only used it with an iriver FM Transmitter in my vehicle. After using it for about 2 1/2 hours after a full charge I have noticed that the battery meter indicates that the battery is now only at about 65%. Is this normal? Does the FM Transmitter drain the battery quicker? Thanks

Hi, total After Effects newbie and I've checked the help and FAQ and some tutorials and can't find the answer. I'd like to create various independent scenes of each section of a movie, that I could later rearrange in the timeline. So instead of going scene 1- scene 2 - scene 3, I might later decide to have them go scene 2 - scene 1 - scene 3. How would I do that? Create the scenes as .aeps and then import them, and drag the compositions to the timeline?

I think you misunderstood Steven's advice.
You only need one project.
Create an individual composition for each scene. (Name them Scene 1, Scene 2 etc if you like)
Create a master composition with sufficient duration. Drag the scene compositions into the master composition timeline and order them however you like.
This is called Nesting. Any changes in the scene compositions will carry through to the master composition.
David's comment is also valid - it may well be easier to render your scenes individually and compile them in an editing application.

Firefox is crashing my computer when I try to open it. Does npdeployJava1.dll have anything to do with it?

After you purchase it once, you redownload it on other devices by the following, not like purchasing a new app.

Well, you use the different accounts such Phone Numbers, email addresses. And make sure that your iPhones have no receipient address in common, then you can avoid this issue.
I use iMessage on my iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, iPod touch.
Each of them has a individual address to receive messages, so they won't combine all the messages among all the devices.
Try this, if it doesn't work, tell me, I'll figure another way out.

If restoring using your backup didn't work, you'll have to save as much of your data as you can (import your photos to your computer, sync your contacts and other data with iCloud, email things like Notes and Voice Memos to yourself, sync with iTunes to transfer all your purchases, etc.) and then restore it as new without using your backup.
