Does SDDM have Journaling/History/Logging functionality?

Does Data Modeler have some kind of Journaling/History/Logging functionality that will generate DDL for journaling/history/logging tables and triggers?

I assume you are looking for something like the Journal flag in Designer that generated all sorts of cool code? I have not found anything like that but I think you might be able to use the transformation script functionality to autogenerate some of it. The table template transformation works great for adding the standard audit columns to all the tables in a design, so I am sure you could write a "transformation" script that would clone the tables, change the name i.e., add _jn), add the journaling columns then add the triggers to do the population.

No, Numbers doesn't have Goal Seek or anything like it.
You can set up Slider controls to facilitate playing with key variables in your expressions, but Numbers doesn't have any capability to make the adjustments itself.

I remember when using Entourage, it had this History button you would click on to read the original email. Some poeple don't include the original email, and it's a real PITA looking in the Send folder for the original email.

Hi Dean,
There is no history button, that I know of, but while in the Inbox, if you control-click on the Sent mailbox, the messages in the Inbox and Sent will be blended together, and will respond to sorting by Subject, or Thread. When Subject, Mail ignores the Re: in the Subject line, and organizes correctly. If organized by Thread, then View/Select/Previous Message in Thread should work.

Hi,
In the General Section of the iChat Preferences there is a setting that will set the Status of iChat to Away if you become Idle. ("Set my Status to Away after the computer is inactive")
Idle is the time without any keyboard or mouse (User Input) to the computer.
iChat will show you as Idle after 10 minutes (although there are ways to change this).
So this leaves iChat being in one of 4 states:-
Available and Active. (Green blob next you your name on other people's Buddy lists)
Available but Idle. (Amber Blob next to Name)
Away but Active on the computer (Red Blob next to your Name)
Away and Idle. (Not shown in iChat Buddy Lists unless you mouse over the Buddy's name - Other apps do differentiate this.)
As a Video chat could be a long time (several hours) without you making any keyboard input so the Idle time does not apply during an Video or Audio Chat.
I have never come across a Video time out period.
Technically they last until one end or the other actually ends the chat or some other external factor causes the chat to end.

2009 iMac does not have 10.10 Yosemite functionality

I have a 27" iMac built in 2009.
I just upgraded to Yosemite and it seems my mac cannot perform half the functions available. I am only assuming it is due to the age of the machine.
My airdrop does not work, the mirroring of ipad 2 via quicktime movie does not work (nor does my iphone 5)
I cannot see iMessage on the mac.
The only one that seems to have worked is the making a phone call from safari.

something else that has been bugging me was iPad Safari keeps reloading page when ever you flick between tabs. scrapped it last night and using Puffin for free now. Seems great, very very fast loading :-)

Does 3G have Calendars and Contacts Functionality?

I have a 40GB 3rd generation touch wheel with dock and remote that doesn't have "extras" in the menu - iTunes runs calendar and contacts sync, and the folders show up on my iPod, but there's no way to access them. I have the most recent software for that model - 2.3. Were those functions just not available for this model, or do I have a weird problem?

Select the table in the side bar, double click and rename it if needed.
Inspector > Table > Select the box before the table name on the top.
Go back to your table > click on the title slowly twice ( A box the same width of the table will appear around it) and reset the font, size and colour on the format bar.
If you want the title to be further away from the table ~ Inspector > T > Text > Move the after paragraph slider.

If you were to think laterally about this, you could also create encrypted archives for just those folders or files you were interested in to minimise the possible harm. Similar to the disk images Magnus suggested, but slightly less trouble. Modern Macs are very fast at unarchiving these files so you can work on them then archive them again without too much trouble.
I am a great fan of those tiny USB harddrives and thumbdrives, which easily slip into your pocket so you can take them with you.
My backup consists of a set of three 4Gb USB thumbdrives for my documents and 3 differently colored USB harddrives for my larger material.
If your work is on these, you simply detach them from your computer and keep them locked up or on your person.
Nobody will be able to access those without bailing you up.
… And of course you can use a combination of any and all of the above suggestions.

Internet Explorer has a handy feature when typing in url's. When you begin typing and the autocomplete drop-down box pops up, you can press shift+enter to automatically finish typing the top entry and go to that site. A More Advanced History Log with Smart Timer

In the way that I use photoshop, I heavily depend on the History Log. I would like to have the option to preserve the data in the History Window instead of having to cut and paste the various 'History States' and then save them as different layers. In addition, I would like the option to be able to see the exact timing of each action performed in the history window.
I would like to know how much time I am spending on each open window in Photoshop, Lightroom or other Adobe Product. A Smart Timer built into the history log would be perfect for this.
A Simple tool that generates an Embedded Log of the date, the exact start and end time, a log entry showing when that photoshop window was on top of the screen with mouse or graphic tablet activity, and an exact minute count of how long that photoshop window was worked on (minus the bathroom breaks or moments of inactivity).
I can't tell you how much I would love to be able to open up a Photoshop Document that I previously worked on and have the History Log in the History Window still preserved.... no matter how large of a file is saved. With the embedded Smart Timer, It would be great to be able to show my clients the exact time that was worked on their projects. It would also be nice to check up on students, employeess or co-workers progress.

here is an example of how to find all faces that are not named currently
make a smart albumn
choose "Name" in first field
Then "contains"
The leave it blank
anywhere that it finds a name that is empty it sorts it to the smart folder and you then can go thru them that way
Please note that some photos have more than one face and even if one face is named and the others are not it still finds it and sorts it to the smart album
