Does sge 2010 support Routing Information Protocol (RIP) ?

Hi, I would like to know if the sge2010 switch support Routing Information Protocol (RIP) and if so how do I enable it. I have a small wireless router that support it and would like client connected on it te bo visible from the wan side and that worked when I had another device doing the routing with RIP support the wireless router was picking up that information and the routing for the wireless client was working.
Thanks !

thanks, thats a shame that a 80$ wireless router support that function and a 1000$+ switch doesn't

    Hi all,
Can we get the ScrollBar information such as: location, min scroll, max scroll, scroll position... when using UI API?

    Hi,
AFAIK, not from the UI-API. Have to find it by yourself in digging directly in the WinAPI.

  • Does MBP 2010 support 802.11n at 300Mbps?, Does MBP 2010 support 802.11n at 300Mbps?

My MBP is connected ro an accesspoint 802.11n router.
    It operates at about 140Mbps.
The router has double 20Meg ability but the MBP doesn't seem to do it. Should it?

Hi and thanks for your comments.
Indeed my prblem may be the dual band router and my adjacent hot spots.
I have more than adequate cable odem speed. In fact, although I pay for 10Mbps my ISP provides speeds as hight as it can until the pipe gets "clogged" then slows down to a lower speed.
The reason I obtained the SMCD3GN router was so I could send large video files between my PC and my MAC for multiprocessor processing and archive.
I have attempted to use a channel that is not the same as local heavy users or adjacent to one.
If you have any further comments or suggestions please let me know.
I shall also contact the supplier when the open tomorrow (ita a holiday here in Canada)
    Thanks again.
    Barry
    Here are the airport-option values:
    PHY 802.11n
    Channel 10(2.4gHz)
    RSSI -51
    Transmit rate 78
    MCS index 12
    The network utility shows
The accesspoint is stu up as "greenfield" which I believe means 80211.n only and all my clients can handle 802.11n.

Does Outlook 2010 support calendar entries to iCloud and iPhone?  I made test entries on iPhone 4 and iCloud that sync.  But entries on Outlook don't seem to sync on iPhone and iCloud.  Outlook entries do sync to the iCloud calendar within Outlook but not out to the iPhone etc.  Am I doing something wrong?  Anyone have any info on this?  Thank you!

I run Win7 but still have this problem of only syncing from outlook to icloud not the other way round

    Hi Aravind100,
    Thanks for your post.
As far as I know SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 support TFS 2010. I think that document has not been updated after SQL Server 2008 R2 SP3 released.

  • Does ms office 2010 support in windows server 2008r2

    Hi
I required the information regarding that does ms office 2010 support in  windows server 2008r2 edition & if support then how can i down load the office service pack for the same.

Yes, you can install Office 2010 on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (SP1). For the system requirements for Office 2010, please refer to this article:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee624351(v=office.14).aspx
Microsoft now no longer offers a download from their site, however, if you already have a product key of Office 2010, you can get Office 2010 installation package from this website:
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/products/microsoft-office-2010-backup-FX101853122.aspx . If you don’t have a product key, I would suggest you to try the new Office – Office 2013, which also can be installed on Windows Server 2008 R2.
For more information about the new Office, please check on this site:

  • Does BizTalk adapter pack 2010 support SAP ECC6 EHP5?

SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0:
Supported server versions: SAP ECC 6.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 6.0 Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Non-Unicode,
    SAP R/3 4.7 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode

    R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode, SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP 4.0
None specifically says it supports ECC 6.0 EHP5. But, I was able to find several posts that they are integrating with SAP ECC 6 EHP5 using BizTalk adapter. However, I would like to make sure whether Microsoft officially supports or not in case of technical
    issue occurs.
    Does anyone have an answer?

I appreciate your response but I'm afraid that the information you have given is what I looked up before and thought they can't be an answer. As I already have stated in my question, I found several posts saying that they are integrating with ECC 6.0 EHP5
with BizTalk Adapter. With that, I can assume the BizTalk Adapter would work with EHP5 of ECC 6.0 as EHP is just an EnHancement Package. However, it does not mean Microsoft will support it when there is a technical issue unless it is stated so. So, what I
want to confirm here is more about liability. I cannot suggest my client to use BizTalk based on assumption.
To save anyone else's time, following are SAP versions supported by each BizTalk Adapter pack. None specifically mentions EHP 5. Can anyone from Microsoft or partner confirm this??
SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0:
    Supported server versions:
    SAP ECC 6.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 6.0 Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Non-Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode
SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2010:

    SAP ECC 6.0 Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Non-Unicode, SAP ECC 5.0 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Non-Unicode, SAP R/3 4.7 Unicode, SAP R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode, SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP 4.0
SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2013:
Supported server versions: SAP 7.2, SAP 7.0, SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP 4.0, SAP ECC 6.0 Unicode

  • Does Airport Extreme support Static Routes?

I have client using an Airport Extreme as their Router. They currently connect to another device outside their network using AppleTalk.
It is planned to put this device onto TCP/IP but on a different subnet (e.g. their subnet is 192.168.5.X and the device will be on say 192.168.25.X). Does Airport Extreme support (like other Routers) the ability to set up a static link to a device on a different subnet (can’t find any information in a doco or the utility) or do they need to replace this with a “real“ router?

Sure, I could do something like route add -net 10.100.10 192.168.0.100 on every client machine on the subnet, but there is no such way to configure a web cam and similiar devices
    Any idea, Apple?

  • Does MMX400R wifi pocket router support for iPad?

I'm using iPad wifi module.  I'm planning to purchase MicroMax pocket router 400R. I just want to know the pocket router will support iPad.

no i don't think it does wps. but i think you can still configure the wireless router with the ipad. if you connect to it, just type in the gateway address into safari, logon, and configure
    uncle_tungsten wrote:
Sorry, I left out an assumption.  The router has not been configured; there is no configured SSIS, username, or password.  The wireless router requires an Ethernet connection be made with a PC, to connect to the IP address of the router and configure it.
In my case, I want to configure without using a PC.  The router supports the WPS protocol which does not require configuring the SSIS,username, password.  My question was whether the iPad supports that protocol.  Then, I should be able to enable WPS and click the WPS start button on the router.  The iPad should then connect.

  • Device does not support 2.5 protocol

Hi,  I'm trying to synchronise a Pearl 8100 to Notes using Desktop Manager v5.0.1.37 [Mar 10 2010] and its consistently crashing at the same point.  Contacts complete fine, reads calendar from the phone, reads the Notes entries, then crashes.  Synchronise Log file has following entry

    Hi,
Thanks for trying to use Firefox for android. We didn't get the tablet version finished for the release, but you can download the unstable version from http://nightly.mozilla.org until it is totally ready. Note that you'll need to enable installation of non-market apps and updates will not be automatic.

  • Trying to connect HP officejet all-in-one! assitant does not support router??

I am trying to connect HPOfficejet 7410 All-in-One which is wirless enabled to my wireless netowork. Getting message," HP NETWORK ASSISTANT does not currently support the router that is connected to your system."  Does this mean that I cannot setup this printer with the router I have?  Or is there another way I can connect it without using the Network assistant?  The router I have is a Linksys Router Model # WRT110 . I have tried to find another router that was in the list of "supported routers" with no luck.  I have looked everywhere.  Please if someone could help! Let me know if you need more info to answer my question. Thanks!

Actually, its not that the youre router is not ocompatible with the HP Network Assistant. Maybe yuore router has a very secure network security thats why the wireless assistant could not connect the printer to youre router
    - The other way to connect the printer to your wireless network is to run the wireless setup wizard on the printer.
    - Step 1. Press the set up button on the printer and press the right arrow then navigate & look for netwok menu then press ok.
    - Step 2. press the right arrow and look for wireless setup wizard
    - it will look for youre wireless router and try to select your router the enter the security key(WEP or WPA) if you have one.
    - after that it will prompt you that the printer is connected to your network

  • Under Snow Leopard I used a WD My World NAS to back up my Mac Pro (Mid 2010). When I upgraded to Lion I am unable to access the backup because the NAS does not yet support AFP. I have now bought a Time Capsule and want to transfer the old backup onto it.

Under Snow Leopard I used a WD My World NAS to back up my Mac Pro (Mid 2010). When I upgraded to Lion I am unable to access the backup because the NAS does not yet support AFP. I have now bought a Time Capsule and want to transfer the old backup onto it.
How can I recover the NAS back up to put on my new Time Machine.
Talking to Apple Support Adviser was a waste of time on case number 239647273
    Any thoughts or pointers?

Keep the old OS around and just kick the tires and test new OS. Apple has a history and habit of breaking support in things like this.
You can use TimeMachine as one level of backup, and even there there were changes with Lion, I would always recommend foremost backup clones of every volume. And clone (SuperDuper etc) can be stored on something like HP NAS Media Server which also was supporting TimeMachine, iTunes - until Apple made that harder and more their own proprietary format.

Rather than "upgrade" I would clone the system, and do a clean install, then allow Setup Assistant to import your files.

  • Does Stratus/RTMFP support P2P behind the same NAT/Router?

Does Stratus/RTMFP support peers behind the same NAT/Router?
(such that both peers have the same public IP address)
    That is: if two computers (each running Flash) are behind the same NAT, and connect to Stratus to get peerID;
do we expect they can connect p2p?
Or will each one get/see just the public IP address:port of the other?
My initial tests indicate that this scenario fails [ICMP Destination Unreachable (port unreachable)]
Is this just a limitation of my local router? does this work for others?
Does Status expect the local router to detect/decode/resolve this situation?
If the solution requires 10.1 groups, is there support to detect/diagnose when/if the peer is on the same LAN?

Thanks for the info, sounds like RTMFP supports this, and hopefully the AFP code does the right thing.
[so, officially, the original question is answered]
Note: In one instance, i'm running two browsers on the same host,
so even the inner/LAN addresses would be the same. Therefore, if A sends to B's inner/LAN address,
the [Windows] OS network layer *should* recognize that and 'hairpin' without leaving the host, or crossing the firewall.
(I say "should" because Unix generally does that, but I'll have to check to see about Windoze).
[And such packets are probably invisible to Wireshark also, so how do i verify what's happening?
oh sure, just reconfigure to boot Linux... ]
So glad you explained that the client tries all three pathways; if it works as you say,
then I can probably ignore the ICMP error from the local router (or, as you say, teach it to do the hairpin).
Can you confirm that P2P will work between browsers (say Chrome to Firefox) on a single Windows host?
    [I really want to know if I'm failing because of network configuration or application code/error;
at this point, I am able to correctly exchange the peerIds, and start the NetSteam.play,
but the two sides do not appear to be exchanging audio/video]

  • I want to use my jetpack 890L as a wireless router to allow wireless printing with a canon laser printer. Is this possible, and does the jetpack support WPS?

I want to use my jetpack 890L as a wireless router to enable wireless printing with a canon laser printer. Is this possible, and does the jetpack support WPS?

I’ve used several wireless printers with a 4510 and 5510 Jetpack and they all print just fine. The MHS890L does not support WPS. The WPS Wikipedia article briefly addresses the reason why you should not use WPS.  If you’re having trouble setting up your printer the manufacturer has a toll free support line to help you. Your Jetpack has the Wi-Fi Password on the bottom, under the battery, and or in the LED display.
