Does software exist to transcribe an audio lecture into a written text file

Is there any such software whereby I could load an audio CD into my Mac of a lecture I attended (or it could be in my iTunes) and the software would transcribe what is said, therefore I would have a text file so that I could refer to the words in a text document?
(the only way I currently know to obtain such a thing is to listen to the lecture, hit PAUSE, type really fast what I heard, hit PLAY, listen more, hit PAUSE, type more ETC and this way takes a LONG time

You probably want ExpressScribe <http://www.nch.com.au/scribe/index.html> it's free, too, unless you'd like to get a version with footpedal and whatsoever extras you'd need for perfect transcriptions.

You may have to subscribe your Outlook to an iCloud calendar to bring it all back in sync.
Apple pushed everything to iCloud and it's pretty much luck if the computer to iDevice sync works for calendars.
Plus, the time involved for iTunes to scrape the calendar info and push it into outlook, just not worth it anymore.
If you have an Exchange or Google email account, you can internet-sync calendars across those also if you don't want to use iCloud.

I get a message that helper application does not exist when I try to open a jpg or excel files as attachments. I have associated use windows live photo gallery

I have gone to Tools, Options, Attachments and there are programs associated that should be able to open the files - Windows Live Photo gallery for JPG files and Microsoft Excel for excel files. I have to actually download and save the files and then open them. Is there a fix for this?

I have r11.5.9 on AIX 5.2 i create one new AIX 5.3 server give same IP and copy all folder from 5.2 to 5.3 wiht exact path.
With same user i can open db+lsnr+apache on new 5.3 server But when i try to login EBS i can see login page also Ebuniess enter link but when i click it it thoruh 404 page can not found
In apache log file i have File does not exist: /oa_servlets/AppsLogin, i can not find pages under $COMMONTOP on 5.2 and my new 5.3 server. But on 5.2 i canlogin system wihtout any issue
All services start wihtout problem also db, i run autoconfig on appstier but when i try to run on dbtier it thotugh error:( I am not sure i need to run autoconfig on dbtier for upper erro)

Error: File does not exist (while trying to get Petstore and demos to run)

Hi all,
I have been trying in vain to get the Petstore demo and other servlet demo HelloWorld to run. It seems to install okay cause it creates the directories and extracts the .ear or .war files. My problem is connecting to the application. When I run http://my.host:7778/estore or http://my.host/7778/HelloWorld/HelloWorld I get and error in the Apache error_log that says: File does not exist: c:/oracle/components/apache/apache/htdocs/helloworld/helloworld and File does not exist: c:/oracle/components/apache/apache/htdocs/estore
I have looked and searched everywhere for help but to no avail. Under the WebModule the URL Binding is /HelloWorld and /estore.
Please help me!!! I am going crazy with this.

PS. I am running 9iAS 9.0.2.0.1 and everything is on 1 Windows 2000 (sp1) machine. Infrastructure and Components in separate dirs with port 7777 and 7778 for each.

Not able eto publish theme - resource file does not exist

I try to publish a service to standalone ITS.. When I publish service, it is ok, but when I try to publish Theme 99, I get an error:
Ressource file ws01000109 99 does not exist
How can I get this resource file?
What to do to be able to publish it?

Maybe a resource file does not exist for ws01000109. Have you tried to display the file? You can do so by double clicking on the 99 in the left side tree.

I'm not able to do searching using employee on Nakisa TalenHubHRExec using employee listing anda position listing on data grid list.

1. Any search listings worked earlier or it never worked ?
2. Have you properly imported the abap add-ons and transport pack ?

I must archieve the file after it got polled. and iam polling for every 60 mins, if the file does not exist,it is throwing an alert like "Could not process file '.file..xml: No such file or directory '
Is there any way i can avoid raising an alert if file does not exist in the source folder.
we are on XI 3.0 sp23?

If you define document splitting criteria based on Profit Center and if your billing document contains multiple line items with different profit center, this type of error will come.
To check this, Go to IMG Path -- Financial Accounting (New) --> General Ledger Accounting (New) --> Document Splitting --> Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger
There check whether the mandatory check box is selected for profit Center. So check in your billing document, whether any line item does not have profit center.

Why can i not add my file to an attachment, it keeps saying it does not exist, but when i use explorer it works fine?

I was trying to upload my written assignment for a class to attach it to an email. The document was in Microsoft work 2007 version. It would not attach it just kept saying that the file is invalid or does not exist. I downloaded explorer and that browser attached the file just fine.

Kaplan university online it is my assignment for school the url is kucampus/kaplan.edu it is for students of kaplan. I have never had this issue.

Log file does not exist

I have recently installed p6.8 and when I try to view my log after I have scheduled the project I get a message that my "SCHEDLOG.TXT does not exist", I've hit the elliptical button and created the file path that I want the file stored in but, when I try to view the log that is the message I get.

Before clicking on the Log tab, be sure that you have the process diagram selected in the panel above it. Inside the Log tab there is a refresh button inside the tab - be sure to click this button to refresh the view of the log file entries.
Your log file is stored where your project is stored. Not to be confused with the end user "Workspace", Eclipse (the IDE Studio uses) stores it's project is a folder also called the workspace. This is determined by the dialog box with the name of the file folder you select when Studio first initializes. You'll be able to find the log files for your project in this directory:
C:\<your Workspace folder>\<your project's name>\system
Finally, once you find your log file you'll notice hundreds of Engine DEBUG statements are stored in it that make diagnosing what is happening almost impossible. Take a look at this link to see how to resolve this problem.

I would like to check if text file in a given folder exists or not if not then create a blank text file in a given directory. I was checking File system task, it has options to create directory and move files, copy files but not creating files.
How can I create a blank text file in a given directory in SSIS using script task or any other way.

I am using the Outputfile1 variable. this is the variable where the path of the file will come which was created in the previous script task. In this task i got the exception that it is alread in use.

Error on start: Path does not exist: /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index

I get the error "Path does not exist: /Library/Audio/Apple Loops Index
Without this directory you can not use the LoopBrowser. Please make sure this directory exists" when starting Garage Band. I also cannot use the onscreen keyboard, or musical typing in GarageBand. All other sounds work fine.
The only thing that changed since I last used GB was that I installed Leopard. (and that was a while ago, so I thought all was well and got rid of my last Tiger backup. )
Any suggestions?

Another update: I tried to reinstall garage band from the disks that came with my mac, but got the error:
"Install Failed
Unable to Install
The Installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install."
