Does the 2015 13" 256 gb macbook pro have the force touch trackpad?
Does the 2015 13 inch macbook pro with the 256 gigabyte solid state drive have the new force touch trackpad from the new lineup of macbooks?
The MacBook Pro with Retina display does. See: http://www.apple.com/macbook-pro/specs-retina/

Does the macbook pro have the capacity to print direct to blank cd?
does the macbook pro have the capacity to print directly to blank cd? If not- can you suggest an add-on product that will work with the mac pro?
Unless you have a printer that can feed and print on a physical CD then you cannot. This isn't a function of the computer. Printers can usually print onto labels of any sort, but not directly onto the disc itself.

When the battery charged fully in macbook pro and the charger (AC Adapter)
when the battery charged fully in macbook pro and the charger (AC Adapter) is connecting (Showing Green Lamp) to the macbook pro does that effect to the battery live of the macbook pro with Retina Display 15'' ME665
Also I want know the Best headphone compatible with macbook pro Retina that help me to Hear and Record ?
Notes ( the macbook pro 15" has just one port for the headphone usually it's tow for record and hear)
Best Regards,The MacBook Pro charging circuit will charge the battery until it reaches 100% charge and then switch to power mode for the MBP. When the battery drops to 93-95% charge the circuit will switch back to charging mode to top off the battery charge again. You will not harm the battery or MBP by leaving it plugged in most of the time.
There are many good headphone/microphone combinations on the market, best really is more a function of how much money you want to spend. Check those offered in the Apple on-line store for features/price to see what would best fit your needs. You can also look at audio equipment suppliers, all the earphones need is a standard 3.5 mm plug. -
i try to buy an application in the apps store in my macbook pro but the system told me that i had to contact iTunes support
OK, then you need to contact iTunes Support. Did you have a question you'd like us, your fellow users, to help you with?

HT204032 Does the non-Retina screen MacBook Pro have the ability to initiate Power Nap?
I've seen that the Retina screen MacBook Pros can use Power Nap from Apple's WWDC keynote but can the non-Retina screen MacBook Pros do that too? It has the same processor and close to the same RAM. Or is it because the Retina screen MacBook Pros have flash storage that they can do Power Nap? Thanks
From http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/ this is what is officially supported:

Will my Macbook pro have the latest OS?
I ordered a Macbook Pro Retina on the 15th of July and I have been told it will be with me on the 3rd of August. Will it have the new OS? is there any way of finding out?
Probably not - you'll have to wait and see if it boots up to 10.7.4 or 10.8. Highly unlikely that it will be 10.8 as it was just released. Still, since you ordered after June 11th, you'll be eligible for a free upgrade (although it may take up to three days to get it). See http://www.apple.com/osx/uptodate/.
Then again, since the developer GM shipped on July 10th, you may just get lucky... like all the presents under the tree you'll just have to wait until the big day of your machines arrival!

What is the best spec 15-inch MacBook Pro at the Apple Retail Store?
Does the Apple Retail Store sell any 15-inch MacBook Pros with 8 GB of RAM or a 7,200-RPM drive?
Do they just sell the most basic models?
What have you seen recently? The amount of RAM is upgradable in-store (although you may have to wait an hour while they do it). The hard drive, processor, and display are not.
I agree with Fortuny, it varies among stores. But usually the best spec is what you see on the MacBook Pro page at store.apple.com. At this moment, that is:
15-inch: 2.2 GHz
2.2GHz quad-core
Intel Core i7
4GB 1333MHz
750GB 5400-rpm1
Intel HD Graphics 3000
AMD Radeon HD 6750M with 1GB GDDR5
Built-in battery (7 hours)2
Often the store will also carry this MacBook Pro, with and without the high-res anti-glare display.
But again, your mileage may vary. -
Hello there. I've purcahsed the new i7 macbook pro quad core and the us-428 tascam is not recognised by logic.
I try to open audio/midi setup but it doesn't give me the option to choose the us-428 tascam. Does anybody know if there is a new driver for this i7 quadcore machines for the us-428 tascams? Please adviseThe hardware has been discontinued... the last driver is from 2007.
Go here.
http://tascam.com/product/us-428/downloads/
Get the 3.40 driver, unplug the 428 from the mac, reinstall the driver (over the top of the other one). Reboot the Mac, after it's settled give it a minute.... then plug the US-428 in.
I don't hold much hope of the driver being SL compatible but it's worth a shot.
Just be sure the unit is unplugged when you install the driver.

If i edit a photo in iPhoto on an ipad will iPhoto on my macbook pro have the edited version as well
If i edit a photo on iphoto on my ipad and then conect it to my laptop will it
save the changes i made the photos on the ipad or will it revert them to
the original version which is the verion they are on the macbook pro?iPhoto on the iPad and on your Mac ar completely different programs. They do not sync in both directions.
If i edit a photo on iphoto on my ipad and then conect it to my laptop will it
save the changes i made the photos on the ipad or will it revert them to
the original version which is the verion they are on the macbook pro?
When you upload photos to your iPad bysyncing albums and events to it using iTunes, and then edit some photos, and connect the iPad again and sync again, then the synced albums will be replaced on the iPad by the new set of albums. The changes will not sync back to iPhoto on your Mac.
If you want the edited image to appear on your mac, savea new copy to the camera roll and then connect the iPad to your Mac. Import selected photos from the camera rolll to iPhoto.

Why does my brand new 15" Retina Macbook Pro have such a sluggish interface?
I just recieved my 15" Retina Macbook Pro 2.4Ghz 8GB RAM GT 650m 1024mb, and it is extremely sluggish when resizing windows, or even launching apps. Its bad enough that it will take 2 seconds some times to see the window move a little bit after attempting to resize it. I haven't installed anything on it so far, I've done all the automatic updates, including the SMC fix for retina displays, ran the Apple hardware scan, and nothing has given me any hints on what gives. I've read other reviews that people have had issues with the retina models being slow when it comes to the interface, and I'm tempted to send my retina model back, in place of the regular Macbook Pro. Any suggestions, or is my plan to replace it my only option if I want a well performing machine?
You have 14 days to return the computer w/no questions asked. Plus you have 90 days of FREE phone tech support on top of your standard 1 year warranty unless you also purchased AppleCare which gives you an additional 2 years of coverage plus FREE phone support.
Strongly suggest that you take FULL advantage of the above before it runs out. Let Apple deal w/the problems. -
I have recently purchased the new Macbook pro retina and while updating the preinstalled (free) iPhoto & iMovie, a message shows saying: To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it. And obviously i haven't purchased them. Tried everything I know, not sure what els to do.

I have a lot of Smart Playlists on iTunes and when I sync my devices the playlists names match, but the content doesn't. Each device has different songs inside the playlists. Not even the number of songs match in most of the playlists. What's the problem??
The most likely reason for that error is that your hard drive is corrupt and thus the download is not getting expanded properly. Restart the computer and hold down command-R as soon as you hear the chime, which will cause your computer to boot into recovery mode. Once there, open Disk Utility and repair the hard drive. If it succeeds, restart normally and try updating again. If it can't repair, you can try a utility like DiskWarrior, but if the damage is that bad the system may be damaged, so you should consider erasing the hard drive and reinstalling everything from scratch.

Just tell me straight. Do the 17" Macbook Pros have the whine or not ?
I am so frustrated hearing about people having issues with whine. imac intel inspite of being almost as compact absolutely doesn't have any whine issues. It's just wonderful. Until a couple of days ago, almost everybody was saying 17" didn't have the whine. I want to know this straight....do they have the whine or not?
I have had my 15" MBPro, 2.16 GHZ, 7200 RPM 100G since mid-March, and it belonged to a batch that was supposed to have been "affected." Early on, the only problem I had was a tilted eject key which the Apple store fixed. I have never seen flicker at low light or heard a whine on this unit. It's not my hearing, as I have had others check my unit as well including my young kids who can hear higher pitches better than adults. It did get hot, but the highest I record using Temperature Monitor was 41C and after the firmware update yesterday I cannot see anything higher than 35.
Maybe I am just incredibly lucky, but I also wonder whether some combinations of the processor (2.0 vs 2.16) and hard drive (5400 vs 7200) were more conducive to whines and heat than others...it would be hard to imagine why the 17" would be different except for those factors. My iMac also has none of these issues. -
MacBook Pro crashing when I touch trackpad.
My MacBook Pro crashes sometimes 10 times in a day and other times not for a few days at a time. It only does this when I touch the track pad, however, it seems totally random. I can use the track pad quite a bit and it is fine - then I go to use it and it crashes.
upgraded to the 10.9.2 OSX and made the problem worse. Apple store has been about useless. I have replaced my hard drive and done a fresh install of 10.9.2 but nothing has changed.
Can anyone help me with solving this problem?John,
When I had the older OSX I had to hold the power button down and power the machine down and then hold power button again to get it running. With 10.9.2 it reboots itself and brings back everything I was working on when it crashed.
Yes, the report problem window comes up and I have send all of them to apple... dozens and dozens of them. I also shared them with the genius bar people at apple stores... who aren't so genius...
I will work to determine of the proplems occur in safe mode as well but have no tested that to date.
Following is the error message that occured on my last crash... which was the 4th one today (but I deleted the IP address for the wireless card):
