Does the 4g ipod touch have ascratch resistant screen?

I recently removed my screen protector and now I love the retina display as it is so much sharper and cleaner without the screen protector, but im worried that it might get scratched, hence why I want to know whether its scratch resistant? Please Help!

It is somewhat scratch resistant but it can be scratched. I do not use a screen protector.

I read in one of the computer magazines that Apple is replace a certain model iPhone because of a faulty battery that is not holding charge. I have an iPod Touch with the serial number C3********4K4 which is not holding charge. Are some iPhones with faulty batteries being replaced and would this hold true for an iPod from the same issue?

No, only a one model iPhone with one batch of batteries have a problem.

Why does my 8GB Ipod Touch have Voice Memos? According to Apple's manual the Voice Memos will only work on the 32GB Ipod Touch. The old 8GB does not have a microphone.

The Apple Users Guide for the the iPod w/ iOS 4.2.1 says the the 2G, 3G and 4G iPod have voice memos but you need an external for the 2G and 3G models since they do not have an internal mic. No info on 8 GB model not having VM. You can get the Users Guide from the iBook store.

Yes, both scratch just as easily. Buy one, and buy a case. DONT use it untill you have the case, mine was "scuffed up" after only 2 days of use. Keep it in the wrapper and keep the little plastic 'film' that covers the front, leave that on as well. Then put all of that in a case (marware.com , buy a sport case for like $10) and if you do that it should be bullet proof. It even absorbes shocks, so you can drop it a lot.

Hello. I tried to find a cable for tv-out that works with my Touch, The one they sell here at teh apple site doesnt list the (ipod touch 3g) as a compatible . Does this mean that it doeanst have tv-out, or they simply havent updated the compatibility info ? i tried using an av cable tha tcame with my Canon HV30 and it didnt seem to work . how can i watch my ipod touch on my TV ?

Both are listed on the iPod touch technical specifications page as being compatible with all the models, though the Apple Store pages haven't been updated yet. Which cable you choose will depend on the inputs on your television.
