Does the AMD A8-6410 meet the processors specifications for Premiere Elements?

I Am looking at this machine, will it work with elements?
Lenovo G50 – 80E3016AUS is a value for money laptop with an AMD quad-core processor inside. The processor type is A8-6410, clocked at 2.0 GHz and supports AMD Turbo Core technology up to 2.4 GHz. The processor has 2 MB of L2 cache and integrated AMD Radeon R5 graphics card. Like other G50 models, it has a 15.6-inch widescreen with 16:9 aspect ratio and 1366 x 768 pixels resolution. It’s very impressive that this affordable laptop is equipped with 8 GB SDRAM. That gives you great multitasking performance. A 500 GB HDD is included inside.

Thanks Sandeep,
I looked at the specs but am not technical enough to know if the A8 processor meets the specs.
2GHz or faster processor with SSE2 support; dual-core processor required for HDV or AVCHD editing and Blu-ray or AVCH
Thanks for checking and letting me know.

Where is the download link for premiere elements 10 and previous versions?
Also the search program doesn't find previous version downloads.
Chat is completely busy and won't let me in.
And I am not paying $39 for what is an Adobe issue.
    FAIL!
Anyone know where I might find it?

What I've always found strange though is that the downloads themselves come from Adobe's servers. Just seems weird that Adobe themselves won't provide the links!

  • Where can I find the PDF manual for Premiere Elements?

Does Adobe have a full manual in PDF file format for Premiere Elements 9.0?
P.S. Watch out for trying to handle large (> 700meg) AVI files.  Phone support says I'm SOL on bringing in my 6.5 gig 24 minute file.  Their solution?
Bring it in small chunks or buy a new computer with more than 8gig of RAM.  Why don't they just tell you before you buy, that unless you have an awsome computer, don't waste your money on our software?

    Thanks John
I have reviewed the online information, and the DVD's and still don't see a full blown manual (PDF file format or otherwise).  If all you get is the
    Using Adobe Premiere Elements 9
Getting started with Adobe Premiere Elements
    Adobe Premiere Elements workspace
    Projects
    Capturing video
    , etc links
Then you ain't getting much information.

  • Why do I have to reinstall the content CD for Premiere Elements 10?

    Hello,
I've installed the software Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and Photoshop Elements 10 an WIN7 (x64) GERMAN
The content CD is installed, too.
After some correct software initializations (start ups), let's say I used it 5 times successfully, the next start of Premiere Elements 10 brings up
    a popup windows complaining:
"An incomplete set of contents (InstantMovie, title- and menutemplates eg.) has been installed. To install the complete contents set, insert
your content-DVD or download the contents from the internet.
Would you like to install the contents now?"
My only solution is to deinstall the content-DVD completely and reinstall it!
This is nasty! It take 15 minutes to do so and surely is not a correct behaviour!
I have checked for updates and am running the latest version!
If anybody could help me to correct this misbehaviour, I would really be thankfull ...
    Thanks, Klaus

    Hello Steve,
I can go on and am offered the choice to download content fron the adobe site ...
I didn't do that up to now. I tried to reinstall from the content-DVD which doesn't work
until you uninstall the (already installed) content and reinstall it later on.
In fact the content is missing, if you try to continue without reinstalling the contents!
The most curious thing to me is the fact that this happens incidently ....
It may happen on the very next start of Premiere Elements 10, it may happen
some days later after maybe 10 restarts of the software.
Thank you very much for your reply ...
    greeting from Dortmund (Germany)

  • Has Adobe solved the crashing issues for Premiere Elements 10?

    Hi there,
I've been using Adobe Premiere Elements 8 for about 2 years now.  I do like this program and appreciate it being quite a straight forward,  uncomplicated,  video editing program.  One thing which really annoys me about it,  however,  is its constant tendency to just crash when I import and move around *.jpg images using motion tracking,  or just dragging something around the screen.  For example,  I film myself walking into a room with my hand pretending to hold a balloon.  I then import a *.jpg image of a balloon into the shot and move to position it in my hand as though it's really there.
My intention is to edit the balloon image to follow my hand while I'm in the room and,  while I could use the motion tracking feature,  I prefer to edit frame by frame,  or else the *.jpg image doesn't always line up properly with what it's following (it's close enough,  but I prefer doing it myself).
Whenever I move an imported *.jpg image on the screen,  it obviously becomes blocky for a moment until you wait for the image to become clear (I think pixilated is the right term,  but am not certain) or unblocky (ie curved edges,  which moved and became square,  become curved again).
What Premiere Elements 8 has been doing on my computer (which has an i5 processor,  more than enough memory and so forth) is to crash out of the program when I drag an image across the screen.
It has helped to move a picture slightly,  wait for it to become clear,  then move it slightly again,  but this still has a tendency to cause Premiere Elements to crash out.
CAN ANYONE tell me,  please,  if Adobe Premiere Elements 10 has this or similar issues because this problem alone is driving me crazy?
    Advance thanks.

    Welcome to the forum.
Many users felt that PrE 8 was a very weak release (kind of like Adobe's version of MS's Vista OS), but most users, with properly setup and tuned computers, find that PrE 10 is a very stable build.
For the issues with PrE 8 crashing, I would see this ARTICLE. It starts with a checklist on setting up PrE and the computer, for best results. Then, it goes into many tuneup tips, for both the computer, and the OS. Finally, it lists links to help with troubleshooting.
Good luck, and hope that something in the article helps,

  • How do I apply the latest update for premiere elements?

I have Premiere Elements 9 and i want to put in a disk menu and other stuff which i know how to do. I want to download the full version of the latest update provided by adobe at: http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/
which provides more themes and what not. However on the download intructions it says provide a path, but i dont know where to. Can someone help me?
I have downloaded it before but with no success i dont know where i downloaded the files to and when i started up premiere elements it came up with the message that said there was an update that could be downloaded which lead me to the link above in the first place.

After you press the download All Content1 for Windows, then you would first be provided with a pop up window saying, 'Download Akamai Netsession Interface', you need to click on the link 'download the installer'.(This is not the actual content but a Download Manager to download the content)
Then know your Download location(see nealeh's post), go to that location and double click the Akamai_NetSession_Installer.exe file.
It will provide you with a 'Please select a download folder' window. Now you an browse through directories to any location(where you want the download), and select the location, click OK.
The Akamai Download Manager will start downloading your content.
After it completes, your download will be at the location you specified.
A dialog box will come saying 'PremiereElements_9_Content_ALL.exe' is a file which was downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?
    Click Yes.
    Then follow the Installation steps.
If the dialog box does not come by itself, go to the download location and double-click on PremiereElements_9_Content_ALL_LS15.exe

  • After I have put in the serial number for Premiere Elements 9, how do I install it?

    Greetings,
Recently I used a serial number for Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on the website, But I have no idea how to download or install it. Can anyone tell me how to, or if I can?
By the way, I have a 32bit installation of Windows 8.1
    Thank you.

    Deadawesome
If you purchased the Photoshop Elements 9 Premiere Elements 9 bundle, then you should have 4 discs
    Mac Disc 1
    Mac Disc 2
    Windows Disc 1
    Windows Disc 2
The Mac Disc 1 and Windows Disc 1 are for installing the program with your purchased serial number which should be on the labels of the plastic box that houses the discs.
The Mac Disc 2 and Mac Disc 2 are the disc for installing Content (DVD Template, Movie Themes, Title Templates.....).
If for some reason you do not have the disc 2, you can download the Premiere Elements 9 Content (at no charge) from Adobe. It is a longer process than using the disc for installing Content. So best find and use your Content disc. But the following is the link if you need to download that Content
    http://www.adobe.com/special/premiereel/downloads/
Please explain what you meant when you wrote
when I use the disc, it says "Install Premiere Content" which doesn't seem to work
How doesn't it work...does it go through the process, it look complete, but you do not see the Content, or something else?
Above all, do not forget to install the 9.0.1 Update after you have successfully installed the program without or without Content.

  • How do I pick the right settings for Premiere Elements 10?

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and want to edit videos that I had received from a company that transferred my Super 8 home videos to digital format and saved them on an external hard drive. They have avi file extension, Apple Motion JPEG A codec , frame size: 1920 x 1080, pixel aspect ratio: 16:9, Frames per second: 29.97. I am not sure what settings to select for the best picture quality. I have tried some and the quality is poor. I need help. Thanks

Unfortunately, you can not edit MJPEG videos in Premiere Elements, Editer.
Actually, some people can. It depends on your machine. But for the most part, it won't go -- and there's no guarantee that even installing that codec will make it. (But you can try. Just install your camera's software -- which sometimes works.)
The wisest solution is to convert the file to a DV-AVI using a program like MPEG Streamclip, as discussed in this FAQ.

  • Is there a problem with the 32bit installer for Premiere Elements 10.0?

When i download and unzip the program there is not setup.exe in the folder.  There was no problem with the 64bit version.

Have you already installed Premiere Elements?  If so there is no need to try to install the 32-bit version.  The installer detects and installs the version appropriate to your operating system.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 to run on?
You are involved in the Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce issue whose full details (description and fix) are included
in the Announcement at the top of this forum. Copy for your convenience below.
You gave a lot of details but did not include the computer operating system. This information may be the key whether
the known fix will work for you. The known fix requires roll back of the driver version to about May 2013. If your computer
is Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, there may not be a driver old enough to resolve the issue. This may force you consider
a Premiere Elements version other than 10 or a different video card/graphics card for your computer. This issue is
specific for Premiere Elements 10 and the NVIDIA GeForce cards.
Copy of Announcement at top of this forum....
Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA Video Card Driver Roll Back
If you are a Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer uses a NVIDIA GeForce video card and you are experiencing
Premiere Elements 10 display and/or unexplained program behavior, then your first line of troubleshooting needs to be rolling
back the video card driver version instead of assuring that it is up to date.
Since October 2013 to the present, there have been a growing number of reports about display and unexplained workflow
glitches specific to the Premiere Elements 10 user whose Windows computer has a NVIDIA GeForce video card. If this
applies to you, then the “user to user” remedy is to roll back the NVIDIA GeForce video card driver as far as is necessary
to get rid of the problems. The typical driver roll back has gone back as far as March – July 2013 in order to get a working
Premiere Elements 10. Neither NVIDIA nor Adobe has taken any corrective action in this regard to date, and none is
    expected moving forward.
Since October 2013, the following thread has tried to keep up with the Premiere Elements 10 NVIDIA reports

  • Does the Wish List for iPhone/iPad/iPod show price drops?

Does the Wish List for iPhone/iPad/iPod show price drops? I assume it would show the new price in the Wish List but does it inform you if the price drops?

The apps which show on the file sharing section on your iPad when connected to your computer's iTunes, you have exactly the same apps installed on your iPhone - they are not separate iPad and iPhone apps that you have installed on your iPad/iPhone, and only the iPad version supports file sharing ?
For iBooks, that won't show, it doesn't support file sharing. You can add ibooks / epubs / PDFs to your computer's iTunes library (the iBooks app if you are using a Mac with OS X Mavericks on it) via File > Add To Library, and you sync them to a device via its Books tab :
If you want to copy them off the device to your computer's iTunes (to the iBooks app on Mavericks) then File > Devices > Transfer Purchases will copy them over (that will copy PDFs and epubs from the iBooks app on your device, not just ibooks).

  • ACR 4.4, ACR 3.3...What does the "ACR" stand for ?

In the Camera Calibration tab in Camera Raw or Lightroom, we can choose the profile from the menu.
There are so many profiles in the menu, ACR 4.4, ACR 3.3...What does the "ACR" stand for ?

ACR x.x designates an older style of profile where Adobe named their profiles for the version of Adobe Camera RAW that first supported the camera--basically the vintage of the profile, so if Adobe updated the profile then you'd be able to pick whether you wanted the old one or the new one.

  • Why does the file Name for file attached with Annotations "Attach File" (paperclip) become Unknown when Comments are Published?

Our company recently purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XI for the purpose of using it for shared electronic reviews.  We are using Send for Shared Review created in Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, and all the Comment tools work as expectedexcept the paperclip in Annotations.
When a Word or Excel or Image(png, jpeg) file is attached using the Annotations paperclip, the initiator can initially see and open it. But after Publish Comments is selected and the review file is closed, the file "Name" changes to "Unknown" (although the Description has the correct file name and extension).  The Modified information is Unknown, as is the Size and Compressed Size.
When the review file is then re-opened, even the initiator cannot open the file, although:
The file location is marked with the paperclip within the document.
The file name is shown in the Comments List with the initiator's name.
In the Attachments list (the paperclip beneath the Thumbnails and Bookmarks) the Name appears as Unknown, Description shows the file name, Modified is Unknown, Size is Unknown, and Compressed Size is Unknown.
The file Name cannot be edited, although the file Description can be.
We have followed the procedure described in the tutorials but cannot figure out how to troubleshoot this situation.  Since this feature was the reason for the purchase of Adobe Acrobat Pro IX, we would any help. Please don't leave out any basics since we are all new users.
We have several people with Adobe Acrobat Pro XI and the rest have Adobe Reader XI and it is a Windows platform.  Can someone please give us some advice how to get this feature to work as described?
