Does the Apple ID on my Mac have to match the ID on my Iphone

My Iphone has a .me apple ID for its icloud. However my Mac icloud has a different email address. I would prefer to use the email address on my mac for everything from icloud to itunes etc.
Is it possible to change the .me apple ID on my iphone to match the ID i am using on the Mac.
If it is not possible, then how can I use icloud to sync up both my mac and iphone. (I actually have 3 apple IDs and am trying hard to narrow that down
to one (the email (apple ID) I use on the MAC)

Yes, if you want to have everything in sync then you have to choose one that you use for everything. In this case I think that you will pick the Apple ID/iCloud account with the me.com address, because this is the only ID which can also use iCloud's Mail service. A other solution would be to use one ID for iCloud (your ID with the me.com address) and a other one for iTunes & Store purchases.

If you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the iPhone by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on the phone. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.

The apps which show on the file sharing section on your iPad when connected to your computer's iTunes, you have exactly the same apps installed on your iPhone - they are not separate iPad and iPhone apps that you have installed on your iPad/iPhone, and only the iPad version supports file sharing ?
For iBooks, that won't show, it doesn't support file sharing. You can add ibooks / epubs / PDFs to your computer's iTunes library (the iBooks app if you are using a Mac with OS X Mavericks on it) via File > Add To Library, and you sync them to a device via its Books tab :
If you want to copy them off the device to your computer's iTunes (to the iBooks app on Mavericks) then File > Devices > Transfer Purchases will copy them over (that will copy PDFs and epubs from the iBooks app on your device, not just ibooks).

I deleted my Apple ID on my Mac and iPad now can't delete on iPhone

My Apple ID was an email address I no longer use so I decided to delete it and create a new on. It worked fine in my Mac and my iPad, but it won't let me delete on my iPhone. Now I have no access to iCloud for my iPhone sync data with the cloud. When I try to sign into iCloud on my iPhone my password no longer works and for security question on birthdate it says my birthdate is wrong!
Anyone know how to fix this?

If the old ID is yours, and if your new ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Does the adapter for my iPhone 5 allow me to play music on my old docking stations?

I have had my 5 for awhile now, and have been using the adapter for charging purposes. However, I just recently tried plugging it into a music dock and can't seem to get it to work. Does the adaptor allow me to use my old accessories, or is Apple making me buy all new equipment? What about car hookups?

and where the device has a 30 pin plug (as in Bose sound Docks ) also.
Not had any problems or issues at all

How does Family Sharing work if both members have iTunes Match subscriptions?

I wanted to add someone to my family sharing in the new iOS 8 but we both have separate iTunes match subscriptions. How are those two subscriptions effected if she is added to my family sharing or are the two match accounts merged? Any advice on this would be great.

I'm still trying to figure out this family sharing thing, but I THINK the other person will still be logged in with their own apple id, so they would have access to their own iTunes match, and not yours. I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to "family share" iTunes match. Like I said, i'm still working on it, but so far on the one account i've set it up on, I didn't have to log that user out.

I use an ipod touch 1.1.4 firmware. In my iCal calendar, I have 3 groups. When I sync the iCal calenders with the ipod touch in iTunes, the ipod touch displays the events fine, but classifies them all as one group. Do the ipod touch or iphone support multiple groups in the calendar? If they don't is there a way to get around that limitation? Thanks.

No need to hope for a 3rd party solution - this will be a feature of the v2.0 software ($10 for your IPT, available in "early July", perhaps at the same time as the 3G iPhone launch on July 11th).
We can "see" right now. Have a look at this image (taken from this page of the Apple website), which clearly shows syncing with multiple calendars from iCal.

Why does the calendar on my iPhone 4 not show dots since the IOS 6 upgrade?

Since I upgraded the ios on my iPhone 4 to IOS 6 the dots on the monthly calendar are no longer there. Can anyone tell me how to get them back?

I have this exact same problem down to every detail. I've gotten to the point where I almost want to soft-reset my phone on a preventative level every day at lunch time because I have already been late receiving several urgent messages (work and personal) due to this issue. I had iOS 8 on my iPhone 5 before I upgrade to the 6 and didn't have this problem - perhaps it is hardware/firmware related?

Let me just say that I didn't get the answer I wanted from contacting apple care and the customer service rep was very rude and gave me what seemed like a short answer just to get me off the line. So here I am hoping that someone can give me a straight answer.
I have an iPhone 4S and I have not had cellular service associated with it for over a year now. It's basically acting as an iPod touch right now.
Yesterday I took a car trip to Boston with my wife and I was playing around with google maps. I had loaded our destination prior to leaving our home so the route information was still loaded. I have my 4s on airplane mode all the time so constantly searching for a signal wouldn't drain my battery. I turn wifi off when I'm not in a hotspot for the same reason as well. So as I was looking at our route info I noticed that the little node that indicates your position was moving along with our corresponding location almost as accurate as any other gps. This concerns me because
1- I have no service on this phone
2- airplane mode is enabled
3- wifi is disabled
Now the even weirder thing is that my son has a nexus tablet. Just strictly wifi. We pulled into a rest stop and conveniently it had free wifi. So I loaded our route info onto his Google device. When we got back on the road I turned wifi off on his tablet and SHOCKER the node was moving along with our position.
I want to know why my iPhone 4S running on iOS 7.0.4 is receiving gps data when all of the supporting features are turned off. As an added concern I would like to know why my sons wifi-only tablet is receiving gps data as well.
What is apple doing with its devices or what is google doing to their devices and/or application software.

Because GPS has nothing to do with WiFi, cellular signals, or data of any sort. GPS is implemented by signals sent by satellites that are received by GPS receivers. The receivers process the information from the GPS satellites and calculate your location. GPS never sends data anywhere; GPS functionality is receive only.
If you have WiFi or cellular data turned on this can improve the accuracy of GPS, because the GPS receiver can then use the known location of cell towers and WiFi networks to refine the GPS location. GPS by itself has an accuracy of 10 meters, or about 34 feet. Using the additional information from WiFi and cellular data this can be brought down to 3 meters (10 feet). This mode is called Augmented GPS, or A-GPS.

The GPS works if the phone is still powered on, but if there is no internet connection, either cellular or Wi-Fi, then you will not be able to track it. If you did not have a passcode on the device, then change the passwords on all of the accounts you have on the phone. More than likely the device is powered off, which is why you are seeing the offline message.

Why does the music on my iPhone 5 seem to stop unexpectedly, but actually keep playing without volume.

My iPhone 5s's (which is only 3 days old) music will unexpectedly stop in the middle of playback. Upon examination of the screen, the iTunes app is still playing the music, but there is no volume. The only way to rectify this is to unplug the headphones and the re-plug them back in; which would normally stop the music, but not in this case. It simple restores the volume and continues to play.

Hard to offer an explanation, but a reboot may solve your problem: Press and hold BOTH the home and power butons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings by a reboot.
