Can a USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA.DIMINFO well defined improve the queries performance ?
For all the tables in my system, i have the view USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA like this:
DIMINFO

     there is a case as following:
if the condition type in the pricing analysis says in a billing document that the condition is found and set, and one is using the condition requirement number 024 (which only determines the price in billing document) yet still has to do new pricing in order to obtain the condition record, Should the condition category be blank, the system would propose the message condition is found and set but does not provide an actual condition record.
   the fault would be that the condition category on the condition type should be equal to L.
   so my question is " how does condition category affect the price procedure" ? thanks very much!

Does the plugins affect the speed when opening a website??

I did a test, Opened the the website <a href="http://www.zowellforklifts.com.es/ ">http://www.zowellforklifts.com.es/</a> on Firefox and Chrome.
Firefox spent 8.3s, while Chrome 4.1s. Why?
Firefox I installed several plugin,but Chrome none.
Did the plugin affect the speed?

If a page has multiple items on it handled by plugins, for example a page loaded with Flash ads, that can certainly affect page loading. Every one of the plugin items must load with the page, so it is slower. If you control which plugin items will load, you can speed up things.

Do the enhancements affect the performance even if they are blank?

I means that SAP has preserved so many user exit for developer to do enhancement, is it has effect to system performance even though we didn't implement them? because the system must always check if there is implemented enhancements.

No, enhancements doesn't affect the performance at all.
It's true that there are a huge amount of enhancements, but to check every one for your current process doesn't affect. You don't do a lot of access to database in order to check every enhancement.

Does the backlight affect the battery life? & new update problems...?

i've been told that affects the battery life and i like mine bright but if it affects battery i will keep it down..
and does anyone else notice that the new update is glitchy? or is this just me..?

This shouldn't affect the speed of your iPhone. It's really just a great feature to take advantage of like maps and such you can find in that article.
If your phone speed does not seem up to par, some things to check is your usage, multitasking. Sometimes back up and restore can help as well.

Number of elements in the FP affecting the performance of my application ?

I developed a simple application which consists of aquiring a signal through a channel of a PXI 5102 module and commanding some relays of a SCXI 1161 module.
This application has the following features :
-The user can, at any time, change the configuration of the PXI 5102 module.
-The signal acquired can be saved to a file whenever the user wants.
-Instead of showing the signal acquired through the PXI 5102 channel, the user can load a given file which contains a saved signal.
-The user can increase or decrease the pressure on a line through a VI that commands SCXI 1161 relays.
As you can see, it is a fairly simple application but the problem is that it have been running for a time the fron
t panel crashes. Is it because the high number of elements I have in the front panel ?
To give you more information I tell you that the processes of saving, loading, decreasing and increasing the pressure on the line are event cases of an event structure.
The front panel consists of a tab structure, 20 controls and indicators and a cluster consisting of 9 controls.

No error take place. By crashing I mean that after a period of time the frontpanel control´s response to inputs of the user become so slow that after a short time there´s no response at all.
The problem is that I´ve been dealing with this problem in this aplication for quite a while and although I´ve optimized, I think, its execution time and the way it deals with memory usage this problem persists.
Since most of the operations performed by it depends on inputs by the user I´ve decided to use an event structure to manage them and decided to load the VIs related to them dynamically into memory to somewoh optimize memory usage.
In order to make things more clear to you I´m sending you a zipped file containing pics that completely describe the frontpane
l ad the block diagram of the appliction.
Any help you can give will be deeply appreciated.

     I have loaded a cube with data and created a query over it. Now, I am trying to change the multiple currency types (EUR, INR,$) to constant currency(INR) in the cube level.
     Will this affects the query also../.

Yes the output can affect if there is any analysis on currency type . But if it is not there and you have only one base currency in source system then it wont affect unless you have made any changes in update rules or transfer rule.

The contract condition in the ECC affect the replicated PO from SRM

Dear ,My expert :
   I work in SRM 7.0 SP03,ECS .
In the ESC , the PR is transfered from ECC system and generate one Shopping Cart in SRM syetem.The purchaser carry out sourcing ,and convert the Shopping Cart to PO(according to the contract ) .The PO will be replicated into the ECC system .
   In my scenario ,the contract is created in SRM ,and transferd into the ECC system .
I am confused that the PO will calculate the net price according the contract in the ECC system .eg,Contract in SRM net price 100$   and the discount 10% ,so the PO net price is 90$ .But the replicated PO in ECC net price is 81$.
Is it the grogram error ?

I do not make use of GOA, contract replication, so couldn't tell you from our system. Take a look at the following notes or search for your self service.sap.com/notes. If there is nothing i think you should start thinking of posting a customer message.

Does selected hardware affect the thinkpad shipping date?

It depends on the supply Lenovo has in stock. If you order something that is out of stock there will be a delay in your build. I don't think there is any way to tell what is in stock and what is not and I am sure it changes on a daily basis.
Lenovo tries to keep all items in stock but they never know who is going to order what. If some company orders 2000 units it might use all the stock filling that one order. If Lenovo buys 3000 of that item and never sell any they wasted a lot of money. How do you know what to buy ahead of time?

Will screen protector affect the quality of the front facing camera?

I got my screen protector cut out and fitted on my phone in Hanoi very cheaply - looks great. However, they were not able to cut out the hole for the front facing camera as well as I would want it to look like (it was either to big or not round enough, etc). So I ended up with a screen protector covering my front facing camera.
They said this will not affect the quality of the front facing camera. However, Lenovo S90 has a 8MP front facing camera, so I it's not like fitting a screen protector on a 5 year old nokia with VGA front camera. How much do you think this will affect the quality of the front facing camera? Unless I can compare 1:1 pics, its hard to say.
I know the Lenovo original screen protector has a hole for the flash light, camera, and the sensor. So I wonder if anyone at Lenovo ever tested how does screen protector affect the quality of the camera? (Btw. I really do not see a need for a hole for the proximity sensor, it seems to work well with screen protector on it, so why bother?)
P.S. I am currently in KL, JameZ, so I was wondering if Lenovo KL can do a screen protector for S90 and how much would that cost. My screen protector is actually so well done that you could not say there is a screen protector on the phone. I only worry about the quality of the front facing camera.

I think the best place to get screen protectors in Malaysia (KL) would be Low Yat Plaza. At the 3rd floor, there are heaps of shops selling accessories.
Separately, I use glass based protectors and they are do have holes for Proximity sensor, light sensor and front cam.
I don't think the screen protector would affect the quality of the front cam but rather the light sensor.
Also if the screen protector you use is clear, it should be fine. Take a selfie!

The 15" Retina's will have better performance than any 13" Retina. Not only do the 15" machines have dedicated GPU's, but they also have quad-core processors, whereas the 13" Retina's only have dual-core processors.

Very simple answer, outdated statistics will lead optimizer to create bad plans which in turn will require more resources and this will impact performance. If index is fragmented ( mainly clustered index,holds true for Non clustred as well) time spent in finding
the value will be more as query would have to search fragmented index to look for data, additional spaces will increase search time.

Performance will definitely decrease. The main reason for this is that when opening a folder you have huge resultsets that need to be processed. As there is no pagination (you see all the items in the folder on one screen) the 'pages' that are sent over HTTP can get very large/slow.
Personally I would seriously question your strategy. How useful is it to have a folder with 10,000 items?
