Does the "dont recalculate images" option work for you?

Hi all,
has the option to not recalculate imported images (see screenshot below) worked for - ever? If selected, and with an image size of 100%, RoboHelp should just use the same original referenced images without changing anything. Yet RoboHelp always generates them new with absolutely inacceptable image quality, no matter what settings I use.
The image import has always been awkward in all our documents, despite using any solutions or proposals I found on the net.

If you have another thread already going, then there's really no reason to open a new one, is there? How does the adjust to DST option work?

I set my forum time to GMT+2 (Athens, Cairo), but in Israel the DST period just ended and now the forum time is an hour early.
Is the Automatically Adjust Times for Daylight Savings checkbox only relevant in the countries which are selected from the list (Greece and Egypt in this case)? How does the forum choose when DST is over?

MSVS-2010 users: Can you *PLEASE* verify whether the "View Call Hierarchy" feature works for you?

I recently decided to educate myself in the intricacies of plugin development and have been experimenting with the set of Samples provided. Supposedly, Visual Studio 2010 (the official IDE for this development) has a very useful feature named "View Call Hierarchy", as described here:

My problem is that that feature never works for me in C/C++ projects. Regardless of what function name I right-click, I always get this error message:
       "A function with the name 'xyz' could not be located"
Note: For C# projects, the feature works perfectly.
I have seen on the net some suggestions, from "remove the SDF (Intellisense) files" to "Reinstall Visual Studio".
I have 5 Visual Studio Pro installations in different computers and the feature does not work ever, in any one of them. I have tried with the Adobe source code, I have tried to create a basic MFC project and the feature does not work. I have tried C and C++ and it does not work. Well, you get the idea.
Can you folks share your experience with this issue?

- Acrobat SDK 9.1: Comes with Visual Studio 2008 project files.

Does notes - highlightings - else's syncing work for you?

Today I imported an ePub I was already reading on my iDevices into iBooks for Mac, glad to keep reading from the same point and to highlight, insert notes and so on.
To my dismay, the book opened right but everything was missing: no notes, highlighting and so one.
I double checked everything but nothing to do.

I checked my iDevices and everything seems ok. As a matter of fact, everything on that same ebook syncs well between iPhone and iPad.
I tried inserting new highlightings in both iPhone and Mac to maybe refresh syncing but nothing to do. It is just as if they were two different books.
So, what gives?
Syncing is the only reason I installed Mavericks and switched to iBooks for mac as a reader.
Is your mileage like mine?

If the Belkin supports the A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) profile then it will work.

Nic, for me the iTunes window looks like this, when I connect my iPad 3:
I select the iPad in the "devices" section of the Sidebar (use: "View > Show Sidebar" if the sidebar is hidden).
Click the "Apps" tab in the "Devices" pane.
Scroll all the way down in the Devices pane to "File Sharing" "Apps" section.
Then do I click "GarageBand" to select the documents in the right panel.
Which part is different for you? Perhaps you could post a screenshot?

Vinagre vnc client -- does the scaling work for you?

i tried vinagre from aur (both vinagre and vinagre-tweak) but scaling option was disabled, although i think it should work (gtk-vnc has been compiled with --with-gtkglext=yes). does it work for you?

my self-built packages don't work with scaling aswell.
however, vinagre should be in extra anyway, as it is officially part of gnome 2.22, so it should be in gnome-extra.

That's probably a broken display profile. The conversion from Library's Adobe RGB is different than the conversion from Develop's linear ProPhoto, so if there's a problem with the display profile it can show up this way.
Recalibrate, or if you don't have a calibrator use sRGB. If your monitor is a wide gamut model use Adobe RGB.
Assuming Windows, change it in Control Panel > Color Management > Devices, and relaunch Lightroom so that it can pick up the new profile at startup:
