Does the E52 work with Bluetooth stereo headset?

The device details at forum.nokia.com don't list BluetoothStereoAudio as a property of the E52 (it does for 5630).
Can anybody confirm this?

if nokia specification says it has A2DP and AVRCP, then it is compliant with Bluetooth Stereo no doubt about it...  bluetooth stereo is now a very common capability in many N and E series devices...
The specification does say that it has A2DP and AVRCP. The question here is, if it will work properly. I have experienced problems with a Motorola S9 and N73, S9 and N85, S9 and N95-8GB. The pairing will be perfect, but music breaks and call volume is very low compared to the same S9 when paired with a MotoROKR. In theory, all these phones support A2DP & AVRCP. But still there is an interoperability issue.

  • Does the curricula work with or without the SAP software?

Hi! As a faculty member... does the curricula work with or without the SAP software? Is it better to lecture with the software or can I get by without it?
If I'm part of a member university how many students can I provide access to the software? Are there any limitations?
Also, I'm based in Philadelphia with connections to the 2nd largest university... Can I pick my UCC or will it be assigned to me? I'm open to either one!
    Many thanks!
    Richard

    Hi Everyone,
One key intent of this community is to present curriculum resources for lectures of either type - with access to SAP software for the professor and students in classroom and lab environements OR without access to the software.
The former, with SAP software access, requires formal membership in our long-standing University Alliances program (UAP). With this membership, professors receive special access to curriculum elements designed to be dependent on use of SAP software (an of course access to everything in our community).
The latter, without SAP software access, requires simply registration in this new University Alliances community (UAC). This community makes many resources available to professors to integrate into their business and IT-related lectures and projects - including pre-recorded demos, videos, expert and analyst reports, articles, white papers, customer reviews, references, and case studies, etc.
The curren state of the site is like a start-up. There is a lot on offer, but we also expect that there is a lot more out there to grow. We know there are many elements which we can make available to the worldwide community once they are contributed. We are actively approaching professors in our networks now for items.
We would be grateful for anyone that we have not contacted to come forward and offer content of their own, for the UAP members or for the greater UAC.
    Thanks and Best Wishes

    **Update**
I gave MAC filtering a try. It worked great without the range extender. However, for the range extender to work, it's MAC address must be setup in the router for access. When I tried to connect to the network on a computer without a registered MAC, and with the range expander on, it let me pass right through.
So, I'm assuming since i was connecting to the router through the range expander, which had a registered MAC, I was able to get access. So wireless MAC filtering was a no go since anybody wanting to connect could do so via the range extender.
For me...WEP/WPA encyption doesn't work. Wireless MAC filtering doesn't work.  But what DOES work, is not broadcasting the SSID while not having any wireless security encryption in place. Nobody can wirelessly connect to your network without knowing the SSID, which in a way is more or less like a password. Just remember to change the SSID on both the router and the extender to something that you, or anybody else in the area, has not used in the past.
I hope all this info is helpful to somebody.

In case it can't be done, can I use my headset with an added mic, connected to the audio plug in in the touch? I referring to something like this:

    Hi:
According to the product specs for your notebook, it does not come with Bluetooth.

If it did, you would see Bluetooth listed under Wireless Connectivity.
I have attached a link to a similar HP model that does have bluetooth, and you will see it listed in that section.

I have bought my G1 touch two weeks before the G2 and now I'm left out. I have a nano from 2006 and I simply put the dongle in it and it's working fine. The nano doesn't have a bluetooth internal receiver, that's why you plug the dongle.
It that is the only thing you need the receiver for, why doesn't the Nike+ Sport kit work with the iPhone?
So I should plug simply the dongle in the touch G1 and with the latest firmware be able to do the thing.
That may be your opinion but it's not the way it works.
This is incredible. You know, this is what Microsoft was doing and now Apple is doing it !
Microsoft had products that worked with the Sport kit? Didn't know that.

  • How Does the scheduler works with ODI engine

    Hi All,
I am new to the ODI and I was going through the documents over the web regarding the scheduling.
Can anyone please let me know how does the Scheduler in ODI is coupled with the ODI engine.
How does the internal scheduler works and how does the external one works. What are the processes the it calls while invoking the scheduler.
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Sumit

Scheduling in ODI is controlled by a special type of ODI agent, strangley called the ODI scheduling agent. This agent is installed as a service and as well as being responsible for all tasks associated with a normal agent is also responsible for managing ODI jobs based on any scheduling information associated with an ODI scenario. All scheduling information is stored in the ODI repository and the scheduler agent reads from this to determine which jobs/scenarios need to be executed and when.

  • Does the timecapsule work with mac OS X 10. 4. 11?

does it work with 10.4.11? Or only with leopard? If it does work with 10.4.11 what features does leopard have that 10.4.11 not have?

Not exactly. The USB cable is only to connect printers and HDDs (or a combination of both using a USB hub). You will connect either to the network that the Time Capsule creates, or to the network that it is a part of (if you have it set to join an existing network) via ethernet or wifi. Then you should be able to see and access the HDD on the TC as a network attached storage drive (NAS). This means you can mount the TC on your desktop and use it as a regular HDD. It's at this point that you can copy the files over to it, or use a program such as SuperDuper and tell it to use the TC's HDD as it's target.

  • Does the 6310i work with PC SUite 6.85 via bluetoo...

I have never successfully had my 6310i talk to my Toshiba Portege 3505 laptop via bluetooth. Originally I assumed it was because the 6310i was not supported by later versions of PC Suite.
Recently however I was pleased to see that the latest version of PC Suite claims to support the 6310i again, via cable, Ir and bluetooth.
With the latest version of PC Suite (6.85), the bluetooth connection looks like it is going to work. PC suite recognises the phone and it successfully pairs, however I then get a message saying that PC suite can't authenticate and the phone reports that the connection is terminated.
I've tried installing the Toshiba Bluetooth stack v4.0 or Microsoft stack v2.0 and get a similar effect.
    The phone has firmware v5.52.
    Should this work ok?
    Thanks,
    Matt
P.S. I have always be able to connect ok via a serial cable connection.

  • Does the iPad2 work with Verizon's 4G Hot Spot??

Simple question - does the iPad2 step down to use the Verizon 4G Hot Spot as a 3G device???

I believe my question is similar in nature. I have a Verizon 3G Mobile HotSpot that I use with my iPad 2. If it connects with a 4G WiFi HotSpot, then yes, great, BUT will my iPad 2 run at 4G speeds? Or will it maintain the 3G functionality as it is not 4G enabled?
I'm looking to upgrade to 4G but I do not necessarily have 4G enabled devices. I guess its more of a general connectivity question, not specific to the iPad 2...
If you have a 3G mobile hotspot, you will not connect at 4G speed to anything.
    Wifi is faster than Edge/3G/4G.
Your iPad will connect with wifi to the mifi device.
However fast the mifi device connects to the internet is how fast it will be.

the other players I've been considering ar the Archos 604 Wifi and the iPod Touch 16gig.
    Thanks for you help,

Nope it doesn't come with a disc to install the software. You can get that easily from this website. Although some might remember that the earlier iPods came with a disc to install iTunes. I believe it also gave you some of the necessary drivers, but thankfully its not needed anymore.

We have a number of test files that are that size and it works without a problem. However using the DOMParser does require significantly more memory than your doc size.
