Does the EQ setting affect only audio played from the Music app?

Does the EQ setting in Settings -> Music affect only audio played from the Music app or does it also affect any other audio? Specifically, I'd like to know if the setting is applied to audio podcasts that are played from Downcast. Thanks!

My Mac Pro was playing music at a gathering and it stopped playing music. When I plugged in the AUX cord, it wouldn't play any of the music from iTunes, Pandora, Spotify, or YouTube. First check System Preferences/Sound - check all the settings to make sure mute is not selected.

Hi,
I remember a setting that you could change to make your movies or podcast start from the beginning of the movie instead of where you left off.
Could anyone direct me to where I could change that setting?
For example: if I watch half of a movie and go to another movie and watch that one, when I come back to the first one it is starting where I left off. I want it to always start in the beginning of the movie.

If you select multiple tracks and go to Get Info (say Yes to the prompt) there's an option down at the bottom to Remember Position. Put a check mark in front of it and select "No." In your movies in iTunes, you can press Apple-A to select all of the files.

How to determine the get/set methods of an element from the schema

Is there a way that I can obtain the java method call to an element using only the schema (maybe using SchemaTypeSystem, SchemaType, SchemaComponent)? For instance, as I traverse the schema is there a method that I can call that will return:
"getPurchaseOrder().getCustomer().getName()"
for the name element in the form of a string or some other representation?

but i didn´t find out, why these programs should be able to solve my issue. They just display a picture using the CL_GUI_PICTURE control.

I have a 16gb iPad which was nearly full so bought a 32gb to allow me to add more music. The old one had 1200 songs on but the new one will only take 777 from the same collection. Frustrating as ****!,, any ideas why please

Why does my iPad and iPhone keep deleting songs from my music app by itself?

I would not suggest starting anew AppleID as you will have problems with previous purchases.

Did you make a backup of your HD?

Authorize your computer for your old AppleID then File > Devices, select your device then Transfer purchases.
I highly suggest you sort out the issue with your old AppleID and continue to use that. Remove your personal info from the new AppleID and don't use it.

I only get sound from the computer's speakers even though I put in headphones

I have for a while now had the problem that I only get sound from the computer's speakers even though i plug in the headphones, I have rebooted the computer but still the same problem occurs. So i thought there might be someting wrong in the settings, when i open the soundsettings and plug in my headphones nothing happens, usually I believe there should be a text appearing that says that the sound is now going to headphones, am I right? any how, it still just sends the sound out to the speakers and there is no option to send it else where then "soundflower 2ch and soundflower 16ch".
I do have an external sound card, for music recording, that goes through USB, and when i plug that in i get the option to send the sound to that device and also to recive sound and i can also choose if i want to sent it to the computer's speakers. So could it be someting wrong with the headphone jack?

Boot into the System Bios and make sure that Onboard Devices- Integrated Audio is On. Then exit the System Bios saving the change. Once back into Windows, open the Device Manager and make sure that ADI1983 HDA appears under Sound devices. Then re-test the rear green audio jack #4 using headphones. What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.

No, you cannot seperate the audio and video stream.
You can use optical audio to a sound system (I use sony sound bar) and play the audio via that.

I understand that you are only able to receive sound through the right speaker / headphone, and I would be happy to assist you!
Since you have already uninstalled and re-installed the audio drivers for your notebook, I suggest using this document on when there is No Sound from Speakers (Windows 8). This resource should help re-establish the sound from both speakers on your computer.
If the issue persists, I also recommend running the Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 8). This should help re-install all of the hardware drivers and original software that came with your notebook. In addition, please use the HP Support Assistant to update any new driver added to your system.

What is supposed to be in each project - just edited VTS_01_1.VOB or edits from the others in the series
such as VTS_01_2.VOB, VTS_01_3.VOB, etc.

Project 34 has edited Premiere Elements file 34 and the VOB files (VST_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc) from DVD#34
Project 35 has edited Premiere Elements file 35 and the VOB files (VST_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc) from DVD#35
Project 36 has edited Premiere Elements file 36 and the VOB files (VST_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc) from DVD#36

When I run the VST_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc from each project the audio and the video are clean and match.
When I run the edited Premiere Elements file that were created after project 34 edited Premiere Elements file project 35, 36, 37 etc. I am getting the audio from project 34
When I run the edited Premiere Elements file that were created before project 34 edited Premiere Elements file project 1, 2, all the way to 33. I am getting the correct audio

Only audio plays on apple tv

Do you see the aurora/galaxy backbround on the TV? If so you have the display set in Extended Desktop mode with the MacBook as the main screen. The Menu Bar and Dock will be on the MacBook display and your background screen on the TV but you can move the cursor onto the TV screen.
In System Preferences>Display on the MacBook screen there should be an Arrangement tab when you have the MacBook hooked up to the TV and both screens working. When you click the Arrangement tab do you see two monitors side by side? One of them will have a Menu Bar at the top. Just click on the Menu Bar and drag it to the second monitor. That will make the second monitor your main screen.
The TV will now have the Dock and Menu Bar and windows will open on it. But you can move the cursor to the MacBook screen and move windows from the TV over to the MacBook screen.
You can now use your MacBook in Clamshell Mode with a wired or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3131 When you disconnect from the TV your Menu Bar will automatically change back to the MacBook.
Or if you want to use the MacBook’s keyboard and trackpad to work on the MacBook screen while showing it on a TV you can check the Mirror Display box on the lower left hand side of the Arrangement tab under the two monitors box. That will give you the same screen at the same resolution on both the MacBook and the external monitor.

The iTunes Store sells songs in AAC format. Most Android phones can play AACs. Just sync them to your phone per the instructions with the phone.
If by any chance your phone does require MP3 format, you can use iTunes to convert the files, per this guide:
iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format - Apple Support
(This conversion does not require burning.)
For future reference, note that the iTunes Store is really optimized for people using Apple devices. You might find it more convenient to buy music in Mp3 format from Amazon Digital Music or Google Play Music.

How to read an audio file from the disk and play it?

Do you know who to read an audio file from the hard disk and play it. It's for an application and not an applet. I tried with the Applet.newAudioClip(URL url) thing, but I keep getting a MalformedURLException.
And is there a way to get the path of the file you are using? Currently I'm doing this:

file.delete();
I'm sure there's a better way. And this is not for an applet, just a normal app.
