Hey man I was having the same problem and I found the answer.... Im going to put the steps you have to follow.
1.Open www.icloud.com on your Internet Explorer and if you're signed in you have to sign out.
2. Open www.icould.com on your Google Chrome and then sign in and click on the box that says "stay signed in" or something like that.
3. Try to open icloud the normal way you do it and it has to open on Chrome.
This worked for me, hopefully it works for you man, let me know. -
Why does my macbook intermittently lose internet connection when I have internet service?

I have checked around on Apple forums as well as the wider internet. My situation is just a bit different than the other solutions I read about.
I have a MacBook, 10.6.8. I have an internet antenna that plugs into the modem, that I plug into my computer. What I have not found in the forums are solutions to an internet connection loss that happens with a hardwired internet connection, ie ethernet wire, not wireless.
I contacted my isp and I was told there is a very strong connection. The internet will cut out when I open another window or just at random times, maybe for 20 seconds. This is very irritating.
Skype and itunes run just fine even when the internet cuts out. I feel there is a problem with one or my of settings. Any help is greatly appreciated.Most often BitTorrent, iCloud or some other cloud-data application is involved in cases of mysterious bandwidth use by a Mac. If you use iCloud, uncheck at least Photo Stream and Documents & Data in its preference pane and see whether there's any change. If you use third-party network backup software, disable that. If you use a torrent client, remove it.
Otherwise, there's no easy way to monitor network usage per process using built-in tools. If you're an advanced user and you want to try, see the manual page for the nettop(1) shell command. It may or may not provide the information you're looking for.
The third-party products Rubbernet and Little Snitch are supposed to record network usage by processes. I can't vouch for them. Both were available as free trials, the last time I checked. I suggest you uninstall either one when the question has been answered. -
Does syncing only use desktop internet connection?
I have 6.1 windows XP on my Palm treo pro. When syncing I wondered whether it uses my mobiles internet connection as well as my desktops internet connection. When reading about syncing it implies that only the desktop is being used. Can I confim this is the case so I am not paying for useage on my mobile.
Also I keep setting my data connection from the comm manager OFF but it comes back on if I accidentally connect to an internet page. I think I was advised that a choice should be given by my phone as to whether I wanted to connect or not. Instead it connects to the internet automatically. Then when you go to the comm manager it shows the data connection has switched back ON again of course. I wanted to stop my phone connecting initially and be given the choice if I wanted to connect. If I cannot do this then is there a setting that will at least stop the connection to the net. I have looked through all the phone help menus for my palm treo pro and cannot find how its done?

I seem to have got into more of a pickle unbelivabley. I did manage to disable the internet but cannot work out how on earth to re-enable it now. I did the following to stop the orange network connection. I went first into setting>connections>set up my proxy>modem. This shows NAME and underneath -ORANGE network . I pressed and held the touch screen over the word ORANGE to access the short cut. It gave an option to add or delete. In my lack of wisdom I decided to delete this. It stopped the internet but there seems no way to re-enable back to orange which I'd assumed you could do. I of course prefer your idea from the comm manager settings given it could then be re-enabled in theory. I started by re-enabling the data connection which said ON but gives no net connection now since deleting Orange as explained above. So I cannot now try Jeffro's idea in above's post. Does anyone have a treo pro to help me out on this to re-enable the orange internet? . Its turing into a Nightmare! hope someone can help. Shall I contact orange or palm maybe? I don't think palm support the treo pro though as its an older phone, may be they do still? Can orange re-enable my phone from there end without me manually correcting something in my phone settings?

Why does the K5400 use up colour ink when printing greyscale?
Please let me know why all K5400 printers use up the coloured inks when printing only grey scale, is there a way of stopping this waste of inks.?
There are a few possibilities:
The color drops are typically much smaller than the black drops so color is used for grayscale graphics unless "use black only" is checked in the driver. Depending on your operating system and driver this may be an option.
Black ink is generally not compatible with photo paper. If you are using photo paper only color ink will be used.
Color ink is used for servicing to keep the nozzles clear. See here for information on how ink is used.

Hi my airport router ( ateast i think this is where the problem originates) has been turning off intermittenly for the past week, when it does this NO devices recieve internet connection, mac, pc,iphone, ipad, wireless or hardwired directly to the router. However they all show to be connected with their corresponding bars and the ip's are all fine. Earlier today it started flucuating on and off about every 5 min making work impossible and now it seems to be completely broken (im currently on my iphone connected though its own internet) Does anyone know how or ehy this happened and how i can fix this? And to know if this originates from the router or something else entirely. Thank you!
Hi - some clarifications would help narrow down some symptoms - just what has been turning off? - has the light been solid green but the modem isn't providing wi-fi? - or is the light flashing yellow with no internet? - which can mean several things - does the light go out completey? - so if you can report on exactly what is happenening and when, maybe someone can help you - we also need to know if there any error messages along the way - we also need the types of devices involved and how they are attached - kind of like a nework map - the more info that you provide, the more answers you will get.

Why does everyone at my work loose their internet connection when I update Adobe Cloud Products? We are on a 20mb broadband connection and there is around 20 people using computers at my work but when I start my Adobe Cloud Product update or when I try and download my Adobe Cloud Product everyone at my work looses their internet connection and so do I. But the update keeps downloading and installing.
I am sorry FooWingLi but the difficulties you are describing sounds more like a local network configuration issue. I would recommend working with your I.T. department to investigate this matter.

I get a message "The Itunes server could not be contacted, check your internet connection" when trying to check for Ipod Nano software updates. I have a 1st generation Nano and haven't updated the software for a while. My internet connection is working. Was thre a change in the internet address for NANO software updates? Do I have to reconfigure something in Itunes to point to the correct address?
What version of iTunes are you using? The latest is 10.6.3. In iTunes, choose Help -> About iTunes to check the version number. If it's lower than 10.6.3, download the latest version from here.

Have you set up any security on the Mac Connection Sharing?
Sorry but I don't use that so I'm not familiar with the settings.
But if you haven't setup and security the iPhone might not mind but I know most Windows computers do not like to connect to Open WiFi. and make sure it is WPA or WPA2.
Then again it may be a setting in the connection sharing like some type of MAC filtering or it may simply be that Mac OS X connection sharing only allows one connection at a time. Try disconnecting your phone and then connect the PC.
As to Linc's response about Windows.
Windows basically does care about connecting to open, unsecured, WiFi. But it will normally pop up a windows asking "Are myou sure you want to connect to this open network". And a simple click on yes will get you connected and an IP address.
So this is clearly a Mac OS X problem. -

I've just successfully installed the iCloud Control Panel on my PC (runs with Vista). Why does the iCloud Control Panel say "Install Outlook to use Mail, Contacts, and Calendars?" The Bookmarks (with Safari) and Photo Stream options are active, but the Mail (with Outlook), Contacts (with Outlook),and Calendars and Tasks (with Outlook) are not. I'm using Office Outlook 2007. I used to be able to synch my iPhone with my PC's Outlook through iTunes without any problems. Any help would be appreciated.

Connect your iPhone to Computer. On iTunes left Pane, under "Devices" right mouse click iPhone and select "Restore from Backup..." then select one of the three backup (Date and Time)

Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
