Here's our situation. We are in the satellite offices, meaning in the trailers, where we have wifi set up. But they will be walking into the construction site often, but I'm not sure if they would need internet connection there...
Now I just spoke with one of the team members who arrived from Japan yesterday WITH their iPad Air, and my manager was impressed with it (hence my manager wanted to have some for his onsite staff).
According to them, they won't be needing internet connection in teh construction zone, but just computer (data input or reference), then when they return to the offices, they will connect with the WiFi.
My dilenmma is that there are TWO version sold in the US:
1. with Built-in Wi-Fi(802.11a/b/g/n) with MIMO support
2. with Wi-Fi+Cellure
And he does want the option to insert SIM cards when they return Japan, but doesn't want to sign up with any US carrier...
Does it make sense? Which one should they choose???

To expand on stedman's correct answer, all you need is a plug adapter. Apple also sells kits and cords that will convert the plug on the power adapter to any other type of plug for worldwide compatibility.

First ...read deggie's response. Makes sense - even a computer running a large amount of RAM can run short on memory depending upon the operation you are performing so sometimes you have to do what is available to "clear" the memory.
You can ...close apps and restart the iPad on occasion. You close apps by double tapping the home button to bring up your recent apps in the multitasking tray. Tap and hold down on any of the icons until they all begin to wiggle. Then tap the minus signs in the corner of the apps to close them. Close all of your apps in that area. Also take note of how many apps are down there. That may have something to do with why the iPad is running out of memory. Tap the home button twice to return to the home screen. Then restart your iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and slide to shut off. To power up, hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
If you do this once in a while, it may make a difference in how your iPad performs. In any event, it will not hurt anything.

I've recently got my iPad Air with a cool display etc etc. Today I was looking at the screen at the home page, and noticed that when you tilted the tablet, the desktop moves slightly in accordance with your eyes.

The iPads does not have a 3D display. But what you are seeing is called the parallax effect. It gives the illusion that the icons on the home scree are floating in a layer above the wallpaper photo.

I'm looking to buy a Macbook. Will the Macbook Air load and run full, unabridged versions of Mac-compatible software, such as what I already own, or does it require only special "apps" versions such as the iPad and iPhone do? I realize that the Macbook Air blurb states you can wirelessly use another Mac's drive to load software onto a MBA or buy an add-on drive to connect it up and load software but my question is the performance capability of the MBA to actually run full versions of ALL OS X Mac-compatible software.

The MacBook Air runs the identical operating system as any other Mac, and is subject to no arbitrary limitations imposed on the latest software, or by the latest software.
The only remaining factor is hardware. All Mac software has it's own individual requirements for the system, that being the speed of the processor, the amount of memory, the type of graphics processor required, etc. Some select software, say intense game apps, will not run very well or at all on the MBA, and it simply the lack of a system's component compatibility of performance. But this is a factor present in all computers, nothing special about the MacBook Air.
So, as long as the hardware is sufficient for the system requirements of the software, you can install and use any full version app designed for OS X Lion.

The only YouTube videos I can find that show show iPads with TouchID are clearly labelled as "concept videos", they are *not* videos of actual new iPads. Most seem to date from the period between the release of the iPhone 5S and the release of the iPad Air and Mini with Retina display.
As you will see from the specs and features listed on the Apple website, and every one of the zillion or so reviews of them that have appeared in the last few days, neither of the new iPads have TouchID. So if My Apple are telling you it's coming to them in the near future then it's big news, very big news indeed, because this is the first anyone has heard of it. Either that or the people at My Apple are confused.

Does the iPad Air Smart Cover lose it's magnetism?

Weirdest thing happened last week. I have an iPad Air 32GB Cellular since about the first month they were released. I have been using a Poetic thin shell cover on the back and an Apple Smart Cover on the front since I purchased the Air.
Last week (around Wednesday) the magnets stopped working. If I were to hold the iPad Air facing down, the Smart Cover would just dangle. I even removed the back thin shell cover thinking it was interfering. Same thing though, the cover just dangled. It was this way for several days. I even had to turn off the ability to sleep/wake the iPad using the cover because it would click on and off over and over again as I was carrying it. (Which to me would say the magnetism was not lost but became less, really weird.)
Today (Sunday) it just started working again. How is that possible? I can't find anything on the net saying this happens. How can the Smart Cover just lose it's magnetism and get it back after about 5 days?

Mine actually seems to have become repelant. I thought I had a weird crease but thats not the case. When I lay the cover on a flat surface it lays flat. When I put it on my iPad it lifts slightly.

I recently purchased an iPad Air 2 (two months ago), and the battery life is pretty good overall. However, I recently downloaded an application and its 3D graphics run the battery down fairly quickly.
I'm wondering, if I were to charge it to 100% and leave it plugged in, will the iPad run off directly of the wall socket's AC power? And if so, will that harm my iPad? Is letting it run off of AC power better/worse than charging and recharging the battery?
I'm just trying to figure out the best way to reduce the power load on my battery.

Yes - leave it plugged in if you are running something that is battery-intensive. It will run off of the AC power if it is plugged in. It won't hurt anything.

Hi, I really want to get the MacBook Air for school, and I really want to get Design Premium for personal reasons. So, I went to find the specs for the MacBook Air 1.6ghz (1st gen) and found everything to match the requirements, except I am unsure about the video card. I know the newest models (1.86ghz and 2.13ghz) will work, but I want to purchase mine used to save money, as it will only be a temporary computer. If you can, please help me by answering the following question:
Will the MacBook Air (1.6ghz 1st gen) run CS5 Design Premium?

Hello everyone, need to know from what date does warranty starts? From date of purchase or from the date you register it?
Example: a person bought an ipad air on sale on black friday but is not gonna give it to the person until say Christmas time so does the warranty starts on date of purchase 11/28 or 12/25 when it gets registered.
