Does the iphone 3gs only have one speacker?

I notice that sound only comes out of the bottom left of my phone(left of the dock). I know that the mono speaker setting is off and when I put my finger over the right speaker looking thing no sound decreases but if I put my finger on the left speaker looking thing sound gets blocked. is there only supposed to be sound coming out of one side? if not what can I do?

There is one speaker. The other grill is the microphone.

So based on the above evidence and our speculate, iPhone 6 is indeed possible with 2GB RAM. If in doubt, all we could wait is finding out the truth after dismantling the device. Course this just may be a beginning, we also expect Apple can give more memory for the upcoming next-generation iPad and iPad Mini.

The 3GS can be updated to iOS 6.1.2 and that iOS has Arabic as one of the keyboard languages but I do not see Arabic as one of the languages for userinterface but there are some I cant read so I cant be sure. You could check by going to settings/general/international then languages

Does The iPhone 4 Still Have The Reception Issue

hey guys i wanna know does the iphone 4 still have the "Death Grip" which is the reception issue (antenna issue) with iphone 4 when u hold ur hand (or fingers) near the antennas and the reception goes down to like 1 bar (n sometimes makes it go to no service).
i think someone said they have made newer models of the iphone 4 what have fixed it but i am not 100% sure
have they fixed it if i buy an iphone 4 now or does it still have the reception issue

My blackberry still has the reception / antenna issue. And always has. In fact, it is so bad that I can terminate the connection if I hold the phone with my head and shoulder.
My iPhone 4 (not s) on the other hand has never been a problem for me.
A lot of noise—not much benefit. However Apple did apply new engineering to the problem—which is great!

No it does NOT. Pictures taken with my old iPhone do, but not the new 3GS.

I have the nearly the same problem.
My problem is exactly that the music will play, but not over the internal loud speakers.
When in plug in the earphones i will hear the music.
Also the loud speakers would be fine, because the loudspeakers would work when i make a hands free phone call.
There must be a bug in the ios 5.1.
I also had a phenomen when I was connected in my local network, I have some airport express, I see these airport express device, the dock connector, but not the internal speaker or the iphone to select as an sound source.
And i tried to make a reset. Doesn't help.
Maybe i try next to set back the phone to manufacturer settings and restore it.

How much free space does the iphone 3GS need

I only have MB's left, and after syncing it says 1.24GB, yet other times it will be 8, 7 or 600 left. I was wondering just how much space does it need to properly run
Everything is fine with it, fingers crossed, and probably a month till I get the new 4S. But just wondering.

My daughters use our old 3GS iPhones as glorified iPod Touches. They have both found in good Wi-Fi environments they can use Find a Friend App to iMessage to their friends that have iPhones or iPod Touches that have upgraded to iOS5. Once they have started iMessage, then they can continue conversations using the Text App, all using the unlimited character text of iMessage. Can NOT iMessage to a non-iPhone as they don't have SIM cards with phone numbers in these iPhone 3GS's.

Sorry, but you are not addressing Apple here, we are all users in these forums, just like you.
If you buy an iPhone from another country, the warranty and service can only be handled in the country where it has been bought. Since Apple does not sip internationally, you'll have to bring the iPhone back in person or send it to someone who can do that for you in the USA.
