  • Hi, is the iphone 6  T-Mobile factory unlocked !?

hi, is the iphone 6 T-Mobile factory unlocked !?

As has been said, T-Mobile phones purchased directly from Apple have been historically unlocked. No reason to think the 6 will be any different.
If you Purchase a T-Mobile Phone from a T-Mobile store instead of an Apple store, then they are not unlocked.
The big clue is in the Price form Apple. You are not paying a subsidized price for the T-Mobile phone when bought directly from Apple. Its a full price Phone which would suggest it is unlocked.
However, until such time as the iPhone 6 is actually released and its status confirmed there's no way to say with 100% certainty if that will be the case.
You need to wait until its released to be sure it is unlocked. But again there's no reason to think it won't be since all previous T-Mobile models have been unlocked when purchased directly from Apple.
    Hope this is clear enough.

I have an iPhone 4 (CDMA) that is unlocked, can I use this in Europe with a European SIM card?

An iPhone 4 CDMA is CDMA only. It doesn't have any GSM circuitry and doesn't have a SIM slot. You can only use it on the network it was originally sold for.

Hi, we have two iphones with two accounts.  The apple tv automatically syncs with one account to play music from the iphone to apple tv.  How can I use my iphone to do the same?

Our experience is a little different, we have different iTunes accounts for different family members, each family member has their own iTunes library on their own mac, each mac uses my Apple ID for homesharing and we are able to play purchased content from each library on the Apple TV.

I'm an American in Korea, and would like to know: Does the 4S iPhone in Korea come with Siri?

  • Is the iPhone 5s T-Mobile A1533 unlocked?

Is it, I got mine, I need to kno.

Yes, and no.  First of all, the unlocked iPhone 5s has not been released yet.
T-mobile iPhones have traditionally been the exact same model as the factory unlocked, so yes, they are unlocked.  What makes them different is that T-Mobile (Just like Sprint, Verizon and AT&T) hold all control over whether to lock them.
Will T-Mobile do so?  Probably not.  Can they?  Sure.  It's just another caveat emptor situation.

  • Does The New iPad have GPS receiver? Can I use it as car GPS navigate?

Hi, Does the New iPad have GPS receiver include as hardware? Can I use it as car GPS navigate?

If you get the WIFi+Cell model of iPad, then it does have GPS. You can use it for navigation if you purchase an app that provides downloadable maps. The built-in Maps app can work for navigation, but it doesn't provide turn-by-turn and requires an Internet connection to function and so usually isn't practical for in-car use.

  • HT1665 Does the iPhone 4 S now come with Apple Earpods if I were to buy them from the Apple website?

I was thinking of buying an iPhone 5 and then realised it is too expensive so now i am looking to buy an iPhone 4s but I am wondering if it will now come free with Apple earpods instead of normal earphones as I think the earpods do look better than eaephones and will hopefully fit in my ears better, so if u know if they do come with earpods then please answer, Thanks.

No, they come with the same earphones they always had.  You can purchase the Earpods at the Apple Online Store.

  • Where does the JeelyBeans look and feel come from?

Where does the JellyBeans Swing look & feel come from that is used in
    Workshop UI?
    -Nick

Nick -- Thanks for the kind words.
While we don't have plans to make the look and feel available outside of the IDE,
you may want to check out some of the other look and feel resources within the
    Java community such as
    www.javootoo.com
    or
    http://directory.google.com/Top/Computers/Programming/Languages/Java/Class_Libraries/Graphics/User_Interface_Classes/Look_and_Feels/?tc=1
We did use JDK 1.4 for Workshop and were very pleased with its performance and
    other aspects.

I think it would be excellent if BEA made the JellyBeans look and feel
freely available - even getting it added to the Sun JDK.
There is a distinct interest in developing C# clients purely due to the
    fact
that Swing doesnt perform and doesnt look good. JDK1.4 reportedly has
numerous performance improvents. What is missing is a good look and feel.
The Jelly Beans look and feel is quite good (I suspect that it is no
accident that its flat look is similar to Visual Studion .NET.).
I think that encouraging developers to remain with Java for GUI clients
    can
only be good for Java and in turn J2EE as a whole. A pure java environment
would be much better than a deliberatly mixed environment. Java RMI is
    much
    simpler than SOAP, etc.
Aside from the ultruistic viewpoint, we would dearly like to use it in
    our
Swing applications - perhaps we can stave off a turn to C# / .net clients.

At this point we don't have plans to license the look and feel of the
application (the swing components) separately, but I'd love to hearmore
about what you had in mind.

Does BEA have any intentions of making the look & feel commercially
    or
    freely
available? (esp for existing, but potentially growing customers ;-)

  • HT204023 Does the iPhone Personal Hotspot support WDS?

I understand that WDS is a requirement for range extending an iPhone Hotspot.  Does the iPhone support WDS?  Alternatively, Has any tried using a range extender to boost the signal of an iPhone hotspot? If so, which manufacturer and model number?  Thx.

Do you honestly think that such a feature would exist on the phone if it had the potential to damage it? Use some common sense.

  • How does the iPhone 3G handle this???

If I save photos from my email, and there are multiple photos with the same name, how does the iPhone 3g behave? Since I can't see the filenames of the photos, I am unable to determine if any two images have the same filename.
Does the phone rename one? Overwrite one? What occurs??

That is exactly what I was talking about. I expected as much however I noticed the following occur. I save a photo from one source, and saved the exact same photo from another source (both have the same filename) I then deleted the first one that I saved, and both photos were deleted.
    Is that the proper behavoire?

  • Is the iphone5c unlocked version same as the iPhone 5c T-mobile version ?

I'm actually plannin to buy the iPhone 5s (unlocked), but since the unlocked version is not avaiable, sometold me that the iPhone 5s T-mobile is the same as the unlocked version. Moreever, apple does not indicate the Model number when you plac ethe order. I intend to use my iPhone 5S on GSM and CDMA networks in other countries.

That model will come factory-unlocked but in fact will be locked to T-Mobile, and only they could agree to unlock it for use on another carrier. However, at some point Apple will most likely sell fully unlocked models, but not just yet. This is pretty much how they have handled this in the past.

  • I have a local carrier number, if i by a contract-free iPhone 6 can i swap the T-mobile sim that will be in the phone with my local carrier sim? in other words, IS the contract-free iphone also unlocked so it can be used with any carrier?

The T-mobile phone is advertised to be SIM-free.  This does NOT mean unlocked.  Unlocked iPhone 6's are not yet for sale in the US.

Hello, how much does the iphone 4 16gb unlocked cost if i want to buy it as a gift and to use it outside USA?

If you're talking about buying the phone in the US, forget it. There are NO unlocked iPhones sold in the US and no US iPhone can be officially unlocked. Thus, it doesn't really matter what it costs.

  • Does the iPhone 5s comes with global or international warranty ?

I have read some news that, apple has planned to provide global warranty for iPhone 5 (A1429) GSM, does the iphone 5s also comes with global warranty ?

    Apple Warranty
    http://www.apple.com/legal/warranty/
"Choose a product" and then "Choose a region"
Pakistan is not listed for any device. So, I don't think it really matters where you buy iPhone because Pakistan is not officially supported country. However, I have read on several forums that iPhone warranty goes by the serial number regardless of where it was purchased. Apple is really good at taking care of customers, so your phone should be covered.
