Is the ipod nano 6th gen capable of sending signal to wireless headphones. I am 57 and do not like earphones and wire. Would like to get the nano. I understand the iphone 4 can use wireless headphones, but i can not wear it on my wrist like a watch. Thank you. techie mawmaw.

What is your price range. I know exactly what you are talking about. I always used headphones while mowing and I used to runt he cord through my shirt to prevent it from getting caught on the steering controls of the mower but one day the cord came untucked form my pants pocket ripping the cord straight out of the headphone itself. They were nice Sennheisers to!
I ended up replacing them with these http://en-us.sennheiser.com/wireless-bluetooth-headset-headphone-smart-mobile-phone-stereo-mm-500-x they are pricey at 330 but will last you many years if they are taken care of. Sennheisers are excellent quality. Best Buy oddly doesnt carry the 500 series they have the 450 and 550 but not the 500. Completely ignore the Beats by Dr. Dre they are horrible for the price point they are!
The noise cancellation is great and they are very comfortable. Like you I dont care for earbuds as I have tried many and they all hurt my ears and on-ear style would eventually start hurting my outer ear but these are very comfy!

i have a ipod nano 5th gen with the video camra in it i was woundering if when i get the 6th gen can i put the tv show epasode that i have on my 5th gen on to the 6th gen and i allso have game i no i cant put those on it but can it have games at all the 6th one

You can't play movies/tv shows on the 6th gen nano, and same with games.

Does the iPod Nano (6th gen.) charge when plugged in in the car?

I just bought it yesterday and had it plugged in in the car, yet it still lost power. Is it supposed to?

There is already new hardware for the nano (7th Generation) and it would take a hardware modification to put video on the 6th Generation Nano so no speculation was needed, Carl had the correct answer.
My Original iPod Nano received updates beyond it's generation, there is no reason to conclude this would not be possible for other models and generations. Why would the iPod Nano 6G need a hardware modification for video playback? It already can do analog composite video output for viewing slideshows with music and transitions on a TV and can handle full photo resolutions. The iPod Nano 6G seems more than capable from a hardware perspective of video playback, it's just that the screen is tiny small for viewing video realistically for any length of time with comfort. That can be rectified by using the onboard TV out feature, though battery life might be miserable. It has nothing to do with the release of the iPod Nano 7G.

Is it possible to get intermediate info while running with the Ipod Nano 6th gen?

In the store I was told that the Ipod Nano 6th gen would keep me informed every 500m or every km about my distance, average speed etc.
The Ipod only tells me AFTER the run what my average speed etc was. Not during my run. Is there a possibility to get this info during my run? The store does not know the answer.

If the Belkin supports the A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) profile then it will work.

Hi, Will the nano 7th gen, be able to recieve bluetooth information sent to it via a iphone 4s? Reason being, to keep the phone in my pocket/bench top but having headphones with out the connecting cable to the phone and still able to take calls.....I see bluetooth headphone receivers around but they dont have track names, caller ID displayed. Or does anybody know of a bluetooth headphone reciver device that will display caller ID and track names compatible with a iphone 4s? Thanks for any help

I am not talking about how many times you play a song on the computer on itunes. but does the ipod itself keep track how many times you play a song on the ipod? where can i find this information?

what you see right here is teh same exact playcounts that is seen on my computer's top 25 when no ipod is connected. there are some wierd differences though, for example flashing lights on my ipod is played only like 5 times or something, whereas on the computer its number 3 played with 375 times played. also pepita(the song on the bottom of the list), is on my top 25 on my computer, but i have not played it yet on my ipod, and the ipod's top 25 accurately shows this. so basically the ipod's top 25 accurately tells teh playcounts for flashing lights and pepita, but not for the rest.
can anyone make any sense of this? how do i find the playcounts for solely my ipod?

Will there ever be an update where I can have a personalized wallpaper on the clock screen on the iPod Nano 6th Gen?

I LOVE using my 6th Gen iPod Nano as a watch, but I'd love to be able to change the watch face to be customized with a picture from my album. It would be like having a personalized watch for any occasion. Is there any plans in the works to make this happen?
Having the watch be digital would be nice too.

Ipod nano 6th gen touch screen stopped working please help

Everything on the ipod nano 6th gen is working except the touch screen and once it goes to sleep i have to hold the sleep button and the volume down button to turn it back on. I went into the volume -, sleep, volume + menu and went through the tests and in the touch panel error check section it says i have IC error reported: 0xFFFFFFFF. Please help as i have reset and restored and update itunes etc. Do i need to send it in to apple? The touch screen was working at one stage and then i disconected from the computer while it said eject first (this is when the touch screen stopped working) and put the ipod on a different computer. The first computer was windows 7 which i used just to charge it a little and the second one im using is windows vista.

I have had the same problem and changed three Nano's. Each time the fault is diagnosed by Apple as "water damage".
If you take your Nano to one of their maintenance centres they will look into either the headphone socket or the power dock and and tell you that you have infringed the warranty by somehow getting the thing wet.
Basically is a poorly designed piece of kit whereas a simple shuffle is way more robust.
I have given up with my Nano and am now using an old model

Is this audiobook configured to sync to your iPod via it's Books configuration pane in iTunes? Click on your iPod's device name under Devices in the left hand pane of iTunes. This will bring you to the Summary tab. Look for the Books tab along the top and click on it.
