Does the iPod touch original version have the app store on it?
I just got an iPod touch rev1 unit but the app store is not on it.. is it supposed to be, or can I get it? Can I still add applications via itunes?

When you plug in the ipod it should come up.

What software version do you have on the ipod?

They are charged via your computer's USB port. As long as you have a USB charger it will work with the Touch.

i have the ipod touch 4th generation and the screen is white, i was going to charge it and it turned white. I have tried to reset it but the apple logo will not show up and it will not turn on! i just got it for christmas... can you please help?
The way I did it was I got the free app sync:stream from the App Store and then added my ipod to my ps3's Bluetooth devices. Then went to audio settings and set output and input to 'Skaggs iPod' you then open the app and it will be listed under music as a media service. You then go to all tracks and click copy (press triangle) it will then begin to copy all of your songs onto your ps3 via Bluetooth. I haven't tried but I assume the same can be done with photos. I have an iPod touch and also have the iHome.... When I first hooked it up it played music fine.....but now when I hook it up it says accessory unavailable for iPod touch and I've resetted it 2 times but still no music comes thru the iHome speakers
If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.

How do I get the ipod touch to sync with the itune?
I have tried to sync my ipod touch with the itune, however when I plug into the computer, the itune doesn't detect the ipod touch eventhough the computer already detected the ipod touch. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the itune programme and restarting my ipod touch, however it seems like it is not really workin at all. Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem. What are the functional differences between the iPhone and the iPod Touch, barring of course the differences in service requirements.
For one, their form factors are slightly different as the iPhone has a bit more squarish body whereas the iPod Touch has a tapered back to it.
