Does the iTunes Wish list have limited capacity?

I have a long list of albums, songs and TV shows to buy, and I added most of them to the wish list, however when I checked the list, I found far less items than I know I added...!
Does the wish list accept a certain number of items only? Or is there a problem?
I mainly attempted to use this function to estimate the amount of store credit I need for my purchases!!!
Anyone knows anything about that? Or an alternate solution, perhaps...

Is is possible that if the item is no longer available then the item could have been removed from your Wish List.
Go back and see if that item is still available to see if that is what is happening.

Does the iTunes Store still have $4.99 movies? If they do, how do you find them? It seems that the iTunes Store no longer links to discounted movies.

Thanks to Jesse M for the "See all >>" suggestion, which is better than nothing, and to iNexxFear for all your hard work, but I absolutely need the search results to come up with full functionality. The possibility of searching painstakingly by separate categories for Composer, Album etc. merely puts me at the mercy of the overworked, undereducated interns who have to type in such information, unaided of course by iTunes' hopelessness at categorising anything other than pop songs.
However, I've found a fantastic solution of my own. It's called Amazon. Only 69p a track. Searching isn't perfect, but it's far better than this appalling leap backwards by Apple.
Yes, I'm upset. But I see the thin end of a wedge that's turning Apple into Microsoft.

  • TS3297 my itunes wish list does not have a purchase allbutton why not it did before

My itunes wish list does not have a purchase all button anymore why not?

You don't think we've all done that?.............numerous times!
Ever since this change came out I sent feedback the very next day and several times since.
We've had iTunes updates since and Apple just doesn't seem to think it's a big deal.
Why would they get rid of it to begin with?
I don't purchase a can of beans, one bean at a time.

Is there a way that iTunes can act as a Radio Alarm Clock?
I have found the radio station I enjoy listening to in the iTunes Radio List. Is there anyway iTunes (and my Mac) can be set to come-on from Sleep mode and start playing that Radio Station at specific times of the day?
Any App or plug-in that does that?
    Many thanks

Turning your Mac into a clock radio.
    1.  In iTunes create a playlist that contains just the radio station you want to wake up to.
    2.  Export the playlist (as .m3u works well).  Get Info on your playlist file and look at the Open With entry to make sure it points to iTunes, VLC or some other app that will stream your station.
    3.  In iCal create an event entry at the time you want to wake up.
    4.  Right (or Control) click on your wakeup event and select Get Info.
    5.  For "alarm" select Open File.
    6.  Now under Open File there will be a place to add the file to open.  It will probably be some default entry (like iCal).  Click on it will allow you to select "other."  Then use the file dialog to select your playlist file.
Your Mac will wake you up at the appointed time.  You don't need to keep iCal running.  If you want to put you Mac to sleep for the night then there is one more thing you need to do.  Open System Preferences to Energy Saver and click on the Schedule button.  Check Start up or wake and set the wake up time to slightly before your iCal alarm time.

  • Why does the iTunes music-radio stop every about 15 minutes? I have Windows 7.

Why does the iTunes radio-music streaming stop every 15 minute? I have Windows 7.

The thing is, the music does not cease prior to the slideshow start. Or At least it doesn't cease on my ATV.
I do have Flickr set as screensaver indeed, but having to change screensaver settings to watch a new slideshow is just plain annoying IMO.
Ane the fact that the music plays when a screensaver slideshow is active is a proof that technically the ATV could support the feature.
    Thank you for your reply.

  • What happened to my iTunes wish list in 12.0.1.26????

I used to have many songs and albums in my wish list. Just upgraded to iTunes 12.0.1.26 tonight on my iMac. I guess this is a Yosemite precursor but I am still on Mavericks.
Now there appears only about 32 songs and I am not sure how many albums but just a few. The rest of my wish list (and that is an awful lot) seems to be missing. I can't seem to figure how to show only songs or only albums in the new wish list as in the old iTunes. What the heck is going on? Did Apple just jettison my wish list with this upgrade? Not good.
I am sure (or at least hoping) that I am not familiar with how to navigate this new version of iTunes. I can get to the wish list, it just is missing the vast majority of what I had before the upgrade. That would truly suck if that list is now gone.

Yosemite 10.10.1 beta <-- That for Apple devices, right? I'm not using Apple products, just a normal laptop. Apple products have way too many limitations, and too few degrees of free choice, for my taste, plus they behave like the police or Big Brother in many ways, adding restrictions to what I can and cannot do with the stuff I buy. I only use iTunes because there isn't any great alternative, really, when it comes to the amount of tracks I can choose from.
Love places like Beatport, Bandcamp or 7digital though, super sad that they offer such a small selection...

  • Problems logging in to my iTunes wish list

I have been having problems logging in to my iTunes wish list, and other sections of iTunes. I keep getting a log-in window and those attempts never work. It appears that it is doing something and then just cycles back to the log in pop-up.  Pages also do not load completely missing artist's additonal albums, songs, or does not load at all.  iTunes Radio will not work either.   I re-installed iTunes, and turned off my firewall.  I tried many different remedies that these forums have recommended, but none have worked so far.  Anyone else have this issue recently?  The previous update to iTunes did not fix the problem either.  Thanks in advance to anyone with a remedy.

The multiple dots is a simplistic attempt to hide, from someone looking over your shoulder, the number of characters in the password.
Just eneter your password and ignore what appears in the password field.  If it still does not let you in then yo entered an incorrect password.
In that case reset to defaults, which you appear to know how to do, and write down the new password when you are prompted for it.

  • My iTunes Wish List won't let me remove items, how can I (or Apple) fix this?

I have a pretty full iTunes Wish List but when I want to remove a song/album, it says it will later but it never does, this is driving me nuts, I need some assistance without deleting my entire iTunes Library

I'm having exactly the same problem, also with 10.2.2 and OS 10.6.7. I've got about 40 items in the list and I have repeatedly tried to delete about half because the price went up but they won't go away.
Additionally, when I point at any one of the items, instead of a single delete circle (far right of the item), I get two, one larger than the other. Neither seems to make any difference. When I do delete the items, the total in my cart does not decrease and if I click out of wish list and back in, all the items I deleted return.
Sorry that's not help to you, but I hope that Apple notices and does something about this.

  • Added many items to my iTunes wish list last night but today it is empty?

    Hi,
I added lots of items to my iTunes wish list using my AppleTV last night but today when I went to check my wish list using iTunes on my desktop it is empty - does anyone know any reason why this might happen?

The older version of iTunes does not read the wish list from AppleTV, 11.1.4 finally supports wish list.  I'm trying now to find out if here if I have to upgrade my firmware for iTunes to see it.

I've noted before when I updated the firmware the wish list was vanquished from the AppleTV.

  • Why won't my Mac allow me to print my whole iTunes wish list?

I have an HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus, and I'm trying to print my iTunes wishlist. For some reason, the whole list won't print. I have about 325 songs in my wishlist, but I can't print but 115. I have changed all the printer settings possible but can't find a solution. Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Thank you, Advance 23, for your interest. I am not generally having a problem printing multiple pages. I am, however, having a problem specifically printing my entire iTunes wish list. I do not receive an error message. When I click on print, it shows 13 pages to be printed. It does print 13 pages, but only the first 41/2 pages contain part of the list. The rest of the pages are blank. "All" is selected as the number of pages to print. I'm not sure what you mean by a program from which I am printing the list. I just have my HP printer set up as my printer for my Mac, and it prints all of my documents. What I have done instead of printing the list is take screenshots directly from the wish list and printing them. I cannot copy and paste it into Pages or TextEdit because only the first 41/2 pages of the list show up in the pages to be printed section. It would be really great if you could solve this problem.

  • Why does the iPad Mini not have music play count?

I bought an iPad Mini and also have a macbook. I had listened to various music on my iPad Mini the other day, however when I connected the iPad Mini to the Macbook and iTunes via the lightning connector to sync, it synced the ratings I gave the songs I listened to on the mini, but no play count, as if I had not listened to anything. I hope there is something I can do about this as I often look at my play count!!

    Katrina UK
It should work work but these kind of bugs pop up between updates, both hardware and software. Try closing all apps in the recently used list on the iPad. Double tap the Home button, tap and hold one of the icons at the bottom till they wiggle then tap the to close them. Tap the Home button to get back to the Home screen then hold the sleep button till you see the slide to power off message. Once it has powered down completely hold the Sleep button till the Apple icon appears.

    Does it even really matter...?
Many people including myself rely on playcounts to control smart playlist to manage large libraries. Smart playlists can be created to show your most or least played tracks and used more or less as your favorites or other uses. Along with playcounts the date is transferred so to keep a fresh list of music on my smaller iPods a smart playlist set to songs not played in the last month keeps some fresh tunes on it.
Playcounts are also used to manage Podcasts in iTunes to delete older episode. Bookmarks, which can also be effected by this, can mess up audiobooks, movies and podcast playback between different devices. So yes, it does matter.

  • IPad books not showing in iTunes wish list

Some time ago I added some iPad only books to my iTunes wish list, however they do not show up.
They are still included in the count of items in my wish list and the price to buy all but I can't see them at all.
Does anyone know how to either view them or clear my wish list?

Just want to bump this topic. I've got the same issue: added some books to my Wish List in the iTunes Store via the iTunes app on my MacBook, and they don't show up when I look at the Wish List. I then deleted every item in the Wish List, but the Wish List still lists two items even though the Wish List is empty. There doesn't appear to be any way to delete items in the Wish List if you can't see them. Weird!

  • HT1368 Buying only specific items from my iTunes Wish List

    iTunes 11.0.2.26 on a Windows 7 pc.
I have a whole lot of items in my iTunes "Wish List" but I only want to buy two or three of those items now. What do I do?
Itunes only appears me to give me the option to:
    a) buy ALL the items that I've added to My Wish List or
    b) buy each item individually
If I go to Edit / Preferences and click the Store tab I DO NOT have the "Buy using a Shopping Cart" option.
How do I purchase JUST the items that I want to purchase now, without having to purchase each one of them separately?

Thanks sunnysearch, hopefully this feature will be included in an update to iOS5.
Until then i'll just use it when I'm at home...

  • Export iTunes wish list

On Amazon your wishlist can be made public. The iTunes wishlist seems to be wholly private, though you can send a link for an individual item to a friend. Is there any way to export the whole wish list to a document that I can then send out to people?

    Hi,
    I have the same problem!
It used to be so simple in the previous version of iTunes.
    Is there any solution?
