Does the LG Octane come with a replacement warranty?

I bought the LG Octane about 4 months ago and just the other day I accidentally broke it and I was wondering does it come with a warranty of some kind that I may have got when I purchased it? I really need to get another phone and the Octane is all I am looking at due to it being a great phone.

I am sorry to hear your phone is broken. The manufacturer's warranty will not cover physical damage, however if you have insurance protection the phone can be replaced. The insurance is a monthly fee included with your statement and is called "Total Equipment Coverage" or "Wireless Phone Protection" depending on the coverage you selected at the time of purchase. For more information about the deductible and to file a claim, visit Asurion's website www.phoneclaim.com. If you do not have insurance, Verizon Wireless has a selection of Certified Pre-Owned devices available at a price lower than full retail and these phones come with a standard manufacturer's warranty, as well as an option to add insurance protection.  Feel free to reply if you have more questions about either of these options.

    apple is not a carrier so does not sell simcards or give them away
    if you change carrier you change sim card
    if you change phone and keep the carrier you move the sim card to the new phone

    Thanks much for the links, Johnathan.  I am going to be spending this summer kayaking in SE Alaska working with a conservation group out of Sitka, measuring data from remote wilderness areas.  I found a human powered 12v charger made by Freeplay Energy that utilizes a common cigarette lighter plug in.  With one of the adaptors you have identified for me I should be able to crank power into a mini in the middle of nowhere.
    I had hoped I could download the free Sirius XM app and receive satellite radio in addition to other mini uses, but Sirius informs me they don't cover SE Alaska, but could still receive broadcasts whenever I'm in one of the Sitka harbors that provide wifi, i.e. internet radio.
    If any other helpful takes on my situation occur to you be assured I'm all ears.

    It depends when it was manufactured - if you should choose to buy a refurbished unit from Apple , it may still have Snow Leopard (but you would of course qualify for a free upgrade to Lion) or, it would also be possible to buy a new one from a reseller with Snow Leopard if he had the MBP for a while, so it would be adviseable to ask.

    I did not realize there was a new Single Line plan.
    When I ordered my iPHone 6 (9/27) the Single Plan included 2GB of data and did not include a personal hotspot.

    Yes, if you selected a carrier specific iPhone it will come with a nanoSIM.
    If you selected to upgrade/renew your current contract, it will be assigned to your number.
    If you selected new service, it will come with a new number.
