Does the mac book pro 3 year care plan have a student discount?

I purchased my laptop (mac book pro) in march 2014 & I'm thinking of buying the care plan which will be valid for 3 years. Could I know if there's a student discount for the care plan & if it's valid from the date of purchase of the laptop or the date of purchase of the care plan?
I bought my laptop from a UK apple store for student price & my university is registered as an educational institution on the apple website.

The care plan extends your coverage from date-of-purchase to the three-year mark, and provides free telephone support for that entire period.
In general, there are no additional student discounts on the care plan.
The care plan covers defects in materials and workmanship up to the three year mark. On a MacBook, it does not cover accidental damage or liquid spills. But owners of the care plan have been known to get the 'benefit of the doubt' in close judgement calls about warranty coverage.
You must choose to purchase it within the first year of coverage, or it becomes unavailable. This is to preclude users waiting until a problem occurs and then buying care. Like any sort of insurance, it remains affordable because some purchases will be covered, but will not need to collect on it.
