Does the new version of pages for ipad have backwards compatability with previous versions of Pages?

This one question is preventing me from downloading the new version of pages - I am worried I will lose the ability to read documents made with the previous version of pages, or that they will be automatically converted into the new format without my knowing. My laptop does not have Mavericks so I will have to keep using an older version of pages here, but I am reluctant to download the new version to my ipad because of concerns that users have previously voiced about the lack of backwards compatability. Is this still the case, or is there now backwards compatability?

Did we get all the features of AppleWork Back?
Has QuickTime X got back the editability of QuickTime?
Has FileMaker now got all the Bento features?
Has Final Cut been reduced to match iMovie for iOS?
Apple is out to attract iOS users, who mainly do selfies and twitter. They pay better because they are undemanding, don't even notice when Apple offers them something inferior and have been broken in with the iTunes Store harness.

Are you accessing the app store for Mac, sounds like the App store in iTunes.

I don't know what you are using for an Apple Store "app" but for what it's worth the specifications for the new iMac indicate two Thunderbolt ports.
Thunderbolt is compatible with MiniDP and uses the same connector.

How many memory banks does the new HP Pavilion Notebook 15 p200na have?

I think the laptop must be a very new modle as there are no reviews on it so I cannot see if it has more than one RAM memory bank; the listing says it comes with one 8GB RAM but I can't see if there is also an empty slot. Thanks,

Does the new (2012) 21.5 inch iMac have a security slot on the back so a cable can be attached?

Other iMacs had a slot on the back where a cable lock could be attached. Do the new iMacs have this? I can't seem to find a picture of the back near the power cord anywhere.

Go to Apple's Website, look at the specs for the iMac. Then go to the Final Cut Studio page on their site, and look at the system requirements. If they meet, then yes. If not, then no.

You can manage automatic updates in '''tools > options > advanced > update'''. The version numbers quoted imply there's an add-on that has compatibility problems, so you can turn off the check for add-ons and leave the rest as is.
If you hit upon problems with the add-on, then have a look at the '''tools > add-on''' pages. There could well be a better replacement for the add-on you have been using so far.

Why isn't PSD backwards compatibility to previous versions?

I already have two licenses - one for CS4 suite on one machine and CS5 suite on another. Some of my CS5 files are not backwards compatible - not recognized in CS4. I have spent a lot of money - and you release new versions practically every year. For the cost some functionality should be in updates and always files should be backwards compatible - especially when they are sent to publishers who aren't as quick to update their versions!

PSD files should be backwards compatible - e.g. the files will open in previous version. The only thing that would cause degredation would be using a new layer type (3D, Video, Smart Filters, Mask feathering, Smart Objects, groups deeper than 5 deep) - and those layers will be available as raster versions in previous version of Photoshop, or at a very minimum, as a PSD composite.

Firefox will not open because "error:platform version 1.9.2.13 is not compatable with min version =1.9.2.12 or maxVersion =1.9.2.12 " is in a window when I open Firefox

It started a year ago when I opened Firefox I got an error message, so I removed firefox & re-installed it. Still no go! So I opened "C" drive & searched for anything "firefox" & found a 2002 version!! I deleted everything, restart, & installed firefox and what I get now is what you see above.
OS is XPpro, sp3 + many updates.

Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
* http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere (not in the Firefox program folder) and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

But it may well be that you are pretty much on your own for now.
It's probably still worth running the extended version of the Apple Hardware Test just to rule out any known hardware problems.
One thing you might do is to reseat your RAM and make sure that all of it is recognized.
Also, see if you can reinstall the OS and update it.
If nothing works and no one else has any suggestions, I'm not sure just what to do other than to find a way to contact Apple about this. Would it be feasible to send it back to New York since it was originally bought there, maybe to a friend who could take it in for you? You do have at least a one year warranty, and if something is wrong with it, Apple is obliged to fix it. I don't think they would ship directly to you--you would probably have to work through a friend.

I haven't encountered any other sites problems yet but I'm sure it's to come if I don't get this fixed. I need to be able to print. How can I fix this?

What precisely do you mean by deleting the podcast app from both the phone and Mac? I have deleted the podcast app from my phone but on my Mac in iTunes->iPhone->Apps it shows up albeit with a button labelled "Install". I've resynced 3 times and when I try to access my Podcast playlist in the Music app, I still get a message telling me that podcasts have moved to the Podcast app. I'm really sick of some of the changes Apple has made to their software.
