Does the Protection Plant warranty expire if it is not registered?

I purchased the Protection Plan for the iPhone4 when i bought the phone, over 16 months ago. I didn't realise that the warranty needs to be registered online with the phone. And the warranty can only be purchased within one year of purchasing the phone.
I now need to use the warranty because my phone isn't working properly. Is it too late to register it with the warranty?

No. This is NOT covered. Accidental damage and abuse will not be covered by any manufacturer's warranty.
It wil cost you US$149 for an out of warranty replacement.

Here are some options to consider:
Look online for a replacement display (±$800 depending lon the size) DIY consider buying a tools kit
There are places that will do the repair and return it within 24 hours
Bring it to the Apple Store and ask them if they can send it to the "Depot." But I don't understand their policy for this. For example, I had the motherboard die on a 2006 MacBook. They quoted $435 to repair it in-house but $280 if they send it out to the Depot. They quote a flat rate for "repair" and then fix everything they find. The Apple Store sent it to the Depot. They replaced the Motherboard, top case, bottom case, battery, internal cables, screen bezel and a the SuperDrive for $280 TOTAL!

The credit card used is that registered in the iTunes Store. Open the Store and go to your account. Click 'edit' next to 'payment details' and amend the card details if necessary.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. I have a windows service written in .Net which access a COM component(This conponent is also written by me).
The COM component launches Acrobat and uses it for generating Thumbnail files.
I get following error is logged into event viewer when CreateDispatch("AcroExch.App", &e)) line is exicuted.
Error Message: The server {85DE1C45-2C66-101B-B02E-04021C009402} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.
This problem occurs only when the windows service run under a specified user account say "TestUser". i.e if service runs under "Local System" account then everything works fine.
Also this problem only occurs on WinXP machine. i.e same thing on Windows2003 server works fine.
I have given all required permissions for "TestUser" on AcroExch.AVDoc and AcroExch.PDBookmark using dcomcnfg.
Any help will be appriciated.

How does the Out of Warranty process work?

My iPad mini decided it wanted to take a bath the other day and now it's done for. Left it in a bag of rice for a week and it will not turn on. I was doing some research and saw that it can be replaced under the Out of Warranty fee for $219 but didn't see too many details on how to go about doing that. Can I take it into a store or do I have to mail it somewhere, and if so, where?

The easiest is if you live near a store. Call and make an appointment. take in your device and talk to them. As I understand it, you pay the fee and walk out with a refurbished replacement.

Hello everyone, need to know from what date does warranty starts? From date of purchase or from the date you register it?
Example: a person bought an ipad air on sale on black friday but is not gonna give it to the person until say Christmas time so does the warranty starts on date of purchase 11/28 or 12/25 when it gets registered.
